Oaks Dental

I leave in Las Vegas NV I am willing to come to Sherman Oaks Ca to fix my teeth. DR Karen Arakelian is the best dentist many years ago he was my dentist and he did a great job for my partials. Here I’ve been going to dentist and all of them are horrible.
They break your tooth so they can charge you more money.
When I was coming to Dr Arakelian every one was very professional and caring. I wish they all move to Las Vegas. I have some problems with my teeth and I am going to make an appointment to see Dr Arakelian.

In today for root canal. (Not fun). Not much to say about someone who is drilling in your mouth but, all went as well as could be expected. Very nice people will continue to come here. P. S. The receptionist was very pleasant.

Very professional and great dentist! Kind, calming, knowledgable really one of the best most honest dentist I found that will work with Medi-​Cal. I almost didn’t go once I saw some of these reviews but after taliking with the receptionist for 10 mins I felt comfortable to at least try them out and am really happy I did!!!
The other dentist I tried six months ago was fraudulent with me so I was frustrated that I didn’t pay attention to the actual reviews on their Unilocal account. However this time after researching the reviews I discovered some of these reviews are actually not true and are just there trying to hurt the businesses for extortion of monies to get rid of them on Unilocal.Shame on Unilocal for this!
Dr Sarkissian is wonderful and I will be going back in 6 months. So happy I found her and her passion to help others is undeniable. At the very least do yourself a favor and give them a try once, you’ll be happy you did.
Trustworthy, professional, reliable, clean, honest, knowledgable compassionate, dedicated, family of doctors… This is a true find here!!!

Run… run very fast to any other dentist in the valley! I should have learned when she could not fit a crown after several tries, or insisted on doing multiple procedures without consulting an endontist.
When my old dentist retired I assumed it would be smart to just go to the dentist who took over his practice. I could not have been more wrong. I ignored the fact that that her staff never seemed to stay, or were rude temporary employees who took their frustration on on the patients.
I disregarded the annoyance I had when It took her numerous attempts over weeks just to fit a simple crown. Now, after starting with a new dentist I have had horrible problems due to her poor work! I have learned what happens when a dentist doesn’t seem to know what she is doing, or is not humble enough to admit it.
I found out that she did such a lousy job on two root canals that she didn’t even finish one and the other caused an abscess! They were done so poorly that I had to have it completely redone. My new dentist and endostist are shocked by the poor work. Now I have a major infection and need to have both root canals redone and buy two crowns to replace the two she did. It’s going to cost me a small fortune plus a lot of pain and time.
Had she just done a good job in the first place or refered me to a specialist, I would not be in this position, both physically and financially.
This is for real. Ever have two root canals on the same tooth because your dentist didn’t finish it the first time? I don’t recommend it!

Inordinate wait time in the office for a cleaning and consultation. Cleaning was not thorough and did not remove plaque, dentist had to be reminded to give a fluoride treatment which was part of the routine cleaning.
Dr. Sarkissian herself was pleasant and I cannot comment on quality of her other work.
Office does not do digital X-​rays so you must wait ½ hour for them to develop.
Office manager had a gruff attitude and was not patient friendly.

I will never go here again! The receptionist was snobby and rude, the Dr. just as bad. She came into the room wearing scrubs and a face mask, which she never removed, nor did she introduce herself to me. I had to ask was she the dentist. I had to wait an hour to be seen, and when the hygienist finally came to take the x-​rays, she too was brusk in her treatment towards me. The cleaning was the worst I have ever had. She began polishing my teeth to my consternation, and when I asked why, she said my teeth were not dirty! It has been a year since my last cleaning.
I will now have to find a better dentist to clean my teeth.
Dr. Sarkissian, nor her staff will be doing it!

Oaks Dental is an extremely nice and welcoming dental office. The whole staff is friendly and they work together very well, the assistants they have are super sweet. I feel so comfortable when i’m in their hands. They go above and beyond for their patients, I highly recommend Oaks Dental!

Always waiting after my scheduled appoint time sometimes a half hour. She may have been in practice awhile but other than a small cavity maybe ok. If you need work done other than that DO NOT USE THIS PERSON!!!

Went here yesterday for a cleanup, the whole staff was friendly. Went in, the dentist gave me an x ray, everything was painless and easy. Did a great cleanup and pointed out any cavities small cavities I may develop which was really helpful. My teeth feel great right now and I booked an appointment to come back and get the minor cavities taken care of. Overall great place with friendly people :)
