Dr. Hirasawa is simply the best and so is his wonderful staff. There is no one better. His dental work is beyond compare and no dentist anywhere can match his caring and kindness. I feel safe and secure with him and his staff. Kim, his office manager, makes everything come together perfectly. If you want the best dental care, then Dr. Hirasawa in Sherman Oaks should be your Dentist.

I’ve been a patient/​client of Craig for over 15 years. In 1999, Dr. Hirasawa made me a «bridge» next to my K9s in which he did a «superb» procedure with a lifetime guarantee (warranty) on the pasted teeth. Throughout the years, one of the tooth would chip of or fall off and without hesitation, Craig would take me in and glue it back together. In addition, Craig & I began I dialogue about my overall missing teeth and we explored many options that he felt based on his experience knowing that the ultimate goal was to have teeth on the empty side to balance out the side that’s working hard chewing away. So, we decided on (2) implants in the rear (1 on top & 1 in the bottom) which was successfully completed because of his expertise and skill set. Then, we decided that it was time to get rid of the bridge and begin the much needed implants in the front and that procedure was also successfully completed 2 weeks ago. After the conformity process of the implants in 6 months, we will begin to discuss bonding all of my teeth to adjust and give the appropriate size & length that fits my face and smile.
I give you my testimony only to inform you that Craig is not only a skillful professional but a kind man with passion for what he does!

I just want to thank Dr. Hirasawa for everything he has done for me because I was always worrying about getting a implant done for years and after having a seat with the Doctor he explained to me the procedure of the implant and what needs to be done.
After setting up the appointment I went in and it was time to start the procedure. Dr. Hirasawa was great he had a very light hand and worked for a good 2 hours non stop. He and his assistant Courtney very nice girl really knew what they were doing. Once implant was set and work was completed Dr Hirasawa explained to me what needs to be done until the next check up .
I just want to say thank you for everything you have done and know I can smile without being embarrassed. Thank you dr Hirasawa and staff

I love doctor Hirasawa as a dentist. I was referred by my brother and I brought with me 3 other members. My mother had an extensive amount of work done and I was getting ready to do mine.
One star is for the office manager, Kim. Whenever I would call to schedule an appointment, there was never and I mean NEVER anything available. It always seemed like they were closed for some holidays or had some seminars that the entire office had to attend. It was getting very frustrating trying to schedule even a simple teeth cleaning. Even if I would request an appointment two months in advance on a Monday afternoon, it will not be available just because that’s the time I would be requesting.
And yet again I am on the search for a great dental staff for me and my family members.

Dr. Hirasawa is one of the best oral surgeons out there. He truly is dedicated to his patients and his work and will provide the best dental care possible. My family and I have been getting regular dental cleaning appointments from him for over 15 years. He and his staff are very welcoming and professional and his office provides a great environment for families. Kim at the front desk is also so kind and helps you out with booking appts that work with your schedule. Craig is also very patient in fully explaining any procedure or question one might have. I would truly recommend going to see him and his staff.

I have been to many dentists throughout the years, but Hirasawa is totally different, he has golden hands! Pain less affordable and very experienced in his field. I had 5 implants done at once, recovered in an hour or two, pain less and ready to go to work. Other doctors told me that it probably can’t be done, meaning the implants. Well it can, if you go to the right doctor.

I took my mom to Dr. Hirasawa when she got a referral from a friend at her assisted living home. It couldn’t have been better. He had very high tech X-​ray machines that were like a 3D vision of everything. He went over everything with us and we were very happy. I will now be going there.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Hirasawa for over 20 years and there’s a good reason for that… he and his team are fantastic! It starts at the front desk with Kim who is always kind and accommodating no matter what the circumstances are, to all of the dental hygienist and to the man himself, Dr. Hirasawa. He is thoughtful in what a person is going through, does the very best work I’ve ever experienced and as others have said explains everything that will be done very methodically and in a manner easy to understand.
I highly recommend him and have also referred several friends to him. If there were any chance I moved from Sherman Oaks; I would fly down to see Dr. Hirasawa.

I come from a small town, and remember my hometown dentist being one of the nicest and friendliest people I knew. Well, I’ve been going to Dr. Hirasawa for years now, and he is even better – without a doubt the best and most thorough dentist I’ve ever encountered.
Yes, it may be a bit more expensive than the «strip mall» dentists in the valley, but you get what you pay for, and his service and expertise is top notch.
I’ve even had dental emergencies before and there has never been a problem squeezing me in. LA may be a big city, but Dr. Hirasawa gives the hometown treatment every time.

I love Dr. Craig! He is truly the most patient and gentle dentist I have ever been to. A while ago I had a LOT of work done and he explained everything very thoroughly and when I still had questions he drew me a picture! All with a smile on his face! He is never rushed and I always feel like I can ask him a lot of questions and he never gets impatient-​love that!
Kim at the front desk is a real sweetheart too!
I would suggest checking his prices before you start treatment because he is not cheap. But you really do get what you pay for with him.

I *loved* Dr. Hirasawa, he was very up-​to-​date on recent advances in dental options, able to explain everything clearly, and also came across as caring more about the patient than his bottom line. His hygenist always did a great job cleaning my teeth.
Dr. Hirasawa’s office is getting one star because his office over-​charged us, which my dental insurance provider pointed out. That would be OK, mistakes happen, but then I cracked a tooth … which usually needs to be taken care of sooner rather than later. Yet the woman running Dr. Hirasawa’s practice informed me that I couldn’t be seen for over a month! And if that didn’t work for me I could «go to someone else.»
And so I am. I like to think Dr. Hirasawa simply isn’t aware that his office manager is over-​charging and sending patients elsewhere if they notice the discrepancy.

Before, I went to Dr. Hirasawa I only went to dentists who set up shop in the San Gabriel Valley. Not that any of these dentists were bad, but I could only hold halfway decent conversations about my teeth in broken Cantonese. When I went to Dr. Hirasawa, he explained EVERYTHING, and henceforth we had the longest conversation about my teeth and teeth in general. This guy knows his teeth, and will do just about everything to make you feel comfortable about being there. He tells me things about my teeth that no dentist even bothered to bring up. The last time I visited his office, he had just come back from a Dental conference out of state, so he is constantly perfecting his craft.
I had a really long cleaning — not that my teeth are that dirty, but the dental hygienist are very thorough and aren’t trying to rush through the procedure like others that I’ve been to. It helps to have the television to stare at, which is another first for me.
I was referred by people at my work, and I have not been disappointed. Will definitely go back there for my next cleaning…
