My Lastochka

Just another business in SFV. The owner/​director is to say the list not friendly and money driven. She runs the place like any other business. But it should not be this way, those are human souls we are talking about… She doesn’t make impression that she actually cares for the kids. There is huge TV in one of the rooms, which is never a good sign for a parent. I have visited but was definitely reluctant to place my precious child here. I would never trust my child to a person like that. Kids and teachers don’t look very happy there either and overall atmosphere in this school is not very good. Stay away.

My son went there when he was 3 years old and we had a great experience. My so was happy, well-​fed and rested. He was also challenged academically, mentally and physically. He brought home all the work he did throughout the day. The staff is very friendly and the owner is lovely. Highly recommend this daycare.

We absolutely love this place. This place is amazing. The teachers are so loving and caring. Every day our daughter impresses us with how much she has learned. I think she would rather stay and play than go home with US some days. She gets to color, sing, dance, play outside, play with other kids, learns to listen and behave for other grown-​ups. Definitely would recommend.

I love this daycare. My older son who is now starting Kindergarten went here for 3 ½ years and he and I both loved it. Amazing environment and I felt they were very nurturing here. They prepare fresh, homemade food daily which is a huge plus! I now have my second son in the school as well. He is a year old and I am very happy here.

Contacted the owner to set up a meeting and check out the preschool after I saw several good reviews on Unilocal… during the phone call she was very reluctant to set up a meeting without a guarantee that I would definitely enroll my child. I explained that it is very important to me to feel comfortable with the place before I bring him (which I think every parent I know does as well). But just her reluctance itself already made me worried. Then we finally confirmed the appointment and I drove there to meet her and check out the place a week later during the day and time we set up. I was extremely disappointed! I called her again in front of the preschool that had no signs and I needed to make sure I was at the right place. She told me that I never called her back and confirmed our appointment, so she is not there to meet me! What a waste of time and horrible customer service! In my book, clients do not call and confirm appointments as I am extremely busy, and if I make an appointment I’m there and do not cancel. Businesses contact clients and confirm appointments! She didn’t have even the courtesy to apologize that she was a «no show» to our appointment and gave me attitude! I’m sorry if this is mean, but I will never trust my child to anyone like this! No matter how many positive reviews someone posts on their Unilocal.I had horrible experience with this place just to set up a meeting… Let alone to trust my child? Never!

Excellent school. Super clean. The owner and staff are wonderful. My child is learning and happy to attend daily. Highly recommend.

We have been attending this school for a year and a half and couldn’t be any happier! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a caring, clean, educational, and all around amazing place for their kids to be. My son has become an amazing eater, great speaker, and definitely an incredibly social kid thanks to My Lastochka. The meals are cooked daily and are fresh, the educational program and teachers are top notch, and the team of teachers and staff is very caring and nurturing! Highly recommended!

This is a very good school. I highly recommend it to all Russian
speaking parents. My son has been attending it for 3,5 years.
The food is always a home cooked meal, very delicious and nutritious.
Kids have a diverse program, all teachers are very knowledgeable and
have good communication skills with kids.
Their parties and celebrations (Utrenniki) are great: with poem
recitals, dances, performances, etc.
The staff is very responsive to all your questions. They have
individual approach to each child and try to accommodate everybody’s
needs.
The owner is a lovely lady, listens to parents feedback and
always finds ways to improve the curriculum.
We are happy to have found this school.
