Karen’s Auto Service

Karin (yes, that’s his name) has changed brakes, AC system, timing belt, and done a tune up for me. He’s honest and very reasonable with regard to price. He’s also trying to work his son into the business (he’s a good kid). Small shop, small family. I really feel like my $$ was well spent and went to a worthy place as opposed to a big shady operation which will remain nameless (okay, Miller Honda).

Just moved to the neighborhood and was looking for a mechanic we could trust. We found Karen on Unilocal and another mechanic who only works on BMW’s so would not check out our Toyota Corolla recommended him. We went with our car overheating and the check engine light on. Also our door handle on the inside was broken. His diagnostics were very simple. He replaced our AC fan for a decent price and told us to change our gasoline cover. Apparently it was cracked and was causing our check engine light to come on. He said to come back if it comes back on but that it probably was just that. I know that if I would have gone to a major auto place they would have wanted to replace both AC fans and our entire gas lines. Karen was so honest, I know we have found our mechanic for good.

Karen is an absolute triple threat in his line of work — Knowledgeable, Reliable and Trustworthy. My family and I have been using him for over 10 years now and I hope he’s around forever. He is extremely honest and whenever I drop off my car, I simply give him full reign to fix whatever needs fixing. He is also very friendly and personally, I feel he goes beyond the call of duty. He’ll even drop you off if necessary. Also, very affordable.

My sister drives from Santa Clarita to Karen’s for all her families service and repairs. They have been going for years and trust him completely.

I had to write a note about Karen. I have never been happier about a car warranty expiring, as it meant I could go back to using Karen as my mechanic. He is simply the best! No nonsense… honest…easy going. I HIGHLY recommend him to women. As we all know, us gals tend to be oversold on unnecessary «fixes» and overcharged for the ones we need. Not with Karen. The man has good karma.

Karen’s Auto Service is fantastic. He’s been my mechanic for about 20 years and I have never had anything but excellent, honest service at reasonable prices. Karen is a very skilled mechanic and truly nice man. I highly recommend him.

If I may say so, one of the most important things for a licensed driver to do, is to find a trusted mechanic. For me, Karen’s Auto Service is that place! Karen works quick, and fixes everything the first time so you don’t have to deal with return visits. Perhaps the best part is that I have NEVER felt overcharged. Just solid auto service time after time. :-D.
