My husband and I recently got married in Camarillo, CA and had the pleasure of working with David from Deja Vu Productions. Prior to getting married, we moved out of the area and did not get to meet David prior to the wedding which I was initially hesitant about. However, after my first phone conversation with David I felt totally comfortable in booking his services. I was told by a couple brides that the one thing they regret in wedding planning is not having a videographer so I was very set on finding the perfect videographer. On my initial call with David, he went over all the details and made sure that all my questions were answered. He was very flexible in working with the vision I had in mind, as well as my budget. During the months leading up to the wedding, David and I stayed in contact and he was always responsive to the questions/​calls/​emails I sent to him. On the day of the wedding, David and his assistant were prompt, professional and so easy to work with! I recently received the final product of the videos and he did a wonderful job! It is such a joy knowing that I can rewatch the video at any time. Photographs are wonderful, but videos really capture the moments! I am so happy I worked with David! Thank you!

I worked with both David and Ryan on filming my twin boys’ 1^st birthday party, and they did an incredible job! Ryan filmed the event the day of, and David edited the video thereafter. Ryan showed up early, set up, and got shots of everything I had asked for. I wanted video capturing the decoration details, the guests, the special moments, and most importantly, my scrumptious little baby boys! Ryan got it all, and he stayed by our side during the entire event so he wouldn’t miss a moment, which we greatly appreciate.
David then took over for the editing process and he did an excellent job with both the shorter highlight video, as well as the longer main video. He was patient while we took our time selecting all the music (very difficult choices for us considering how much music matters to the hubby and I). He then used all the music we gave him creatively, and the finished product brought tears to my eyes. It was a perfect recreation of that special day! Now we’ll have beautiful memories of one of the most incredible days of our lives :)

Our videographer David Finklestein was very present but he glided around the festivities and we totally forgot he was there!
He covered everything and more and we love our video and still photos as well!
We highly recommend him and we (and our friends and business associates) will definitely use him in the future for celebrations and events!

David was a great choice to serve as the videographer for my wedding. We agreed to meet each other at Starbucks to discuss what he could offer in regards to video services. I thought I was early, so I got into a long line in order to get something to drink since I had just come from work. Little did I know, David was already there, waiting patiently. Even though the line took seemingly forever, David showed his patience, understanding, and professionalism. Additionally, once I saw his work, I was immediately impressed by both the value of his services (I got two videographers) and his talent in capturing key moments during the wedding day.
After deciding to make him my videographer, he was always ready and willing to share his expertise. Although he was busy with other events and shoots, he always found the time to respond to my inquiries via email/​text in order to make sure that all my needs were met.
When the day of the wedding finally approached, David was very punctual. He made us feel very special that day and was present for EVERY moment of the wedding. He was very attentive and adapted to the craziness of the wedding day. He interviewed our friends and family as well as captured our first dance to perfection. He even stayed longer than we had originally asked him to, so that he could get footage of the open dancing. We really appreciate this!!!
Even after the wedding, while preparing our edited video, he maintained communication with me, making sure it included our preferred music. He kept me in the loop throughout the entire time and completed the video in a timely manner. He even gave me the unedited footage from our wedding day, which not many people do. Even the unedited footage was enjoyable and very well filmed. The edited version itself was remarkable and David’s passion for his work really shined through. I am not sure I should mention this, but David even gave my wife and me a Starbucks gift card as a thank you; not many people would do this. Thus, his kindhearted gesture validated my stance that Deja Vu Productions was the proper choice to capture my wedding day.

David found us when we posted our need for a fun party band for our crawfish boil. He managed the whole process and was a terrific communicator. And the band was DIVINE. He was very professional, everything went smoothly, and all in all we had an incredibly successful event thanks to Deja Vu.
