Purchasing a ‘previously owned vehicle’ is always a bit nerve-​racking. Questions on the vehicle history, prior owner (s), service/​maintenance records, etc. can become overwhelming.
So rather than scraping at the bottom of the barrel it’s best to start near the top. Bottom line: you don’t want to end up with a lemon.
Brian and his team at CIT Motors are at the top of their game. They are honest, straightforward and a pleasure to do business with. Brian knows his inventory inside and out. He provided me a detailed CarFax history and all the maintenance paperwork on the vehicle.
His inventory is very nice, clean and well maintained.
Picked a vehicle to test drive and could’ve test drove more if I chose to. Never at all did I feel pressured or cornered into purchasing… or made to feel rushed. Quite the contrary, Brian let me take all the time I needed.
I called Brian to setup an appointment and when I showed up, the vehicle was already out, clean, and ready to go.
Even when we were beginning the paperwork (which is a lot), I was on the fence between two vehicles and he was so patient and accommodating with whatever my decision was. The business transaction was painless and enjoyable.

Go see Brian. excellent customer service… gave me an awesome deal, he was very honest and he even had his driver to pick me up from van nuys amtrak station. the fact that i lived 40 miles away and i had no ride to get to c.i.t. he even sent me the tags and pink slip in the mail right away .very courteous and sincere.

After relentlessly searching for 9 days across the country using various car sites for a replacement SUV, I found my Mercedes ML 350 at CIT Motors. I spoke with Brian via telephone and we negotiated a great deal for this 2003 vehicle with only 32,205 miles!
Understand that I reside some 2200 miles away from Sherman Oaks, Ca. and did not test drive or see Brian or see the vehicle in person. Our business was totally conducted through trust, honesty, mutual respect and prayer.
Brian arranged the transportation, saving me nearly 50% of the cost if I were to ship this vehicle on my own and followed thru by communicating with me daily until the vehicle was delivered. Brian described this vehicle perfectly as I watched it being unloaded and once I sat behind the steering wheel I knew this was the Blessing I’d been praying for.
My wife and I immediately hit the road and took a 60 mile drive and enjoyed every second admiring our beautiful new ML. The interior, flawless, every button, knob, switch, light and all systems function perfectly including great tires and slick paint.

My wife and I had been test driving used cars all over LA trying to find a good example of a Mercedes SLK. CIT had an SLK55 AMG (2007) at a reasonable price point.
We called to make an appointment the night prior so that we could test drive the car the following day. Upon arriving, we walked around the SLK which was parked on the lot. Over the course of about 10 minutes, no one came to help. There was even a gentleman washing cars out front and he didn’t say a word, even when we tried to acknowledge him and ask if anyone was on the lot. It wasn’t until we finally walked in side that we saw or spoke to anyone.
Upon walking in, the sales person asked for my wife’s license, which is a common request so that there is a record on file in case of theft or accident during a test drive. (Many dealerships will also ask for a proof of insurance too). No problem. But when I also tried handing my license over to the gentleman stating that both my wife and I would like to take short test drives to get a feel for the car and overall characteristics, whether it would need brakes, an alignment, etc. He said absolutely not. That we need an appointment to test drive the car anyway (which we did). He was just down right rude. I tried to convince him by myself why it would be necessary for both of us to test drive the vehicle. It was to no avail. He absolutely refused. We walked out.
What a waste of breath and time. Not to mention we had called prior to setting up the appointment since we were driving from 30+ miles away.
I would not recommend doing business with this company. Furthermore, I would be surprised to see them around in another couple years… with customer service like that, I’m surprised they sell cars at all.
