We offer full service for all pest and termite control needs.

We are the first pest control company in California to be accepted into the Federal Pesticide Environmental Stewardship Program (PESP) and one of the very first to meet the national Quality Pro & Quality Pro Green standards and requirements. We practice REDUCED IMPACT SERVICES (RIS) which means providing effective pest control while decreasing the exposure of customers and the environment to pesticides through the least toxic alternatives and integrated pest management principles.

We treat our clients they way we would want our friends and family to be treated. We always offer the best advice for the client, not advice just to make a sale.

Our friendly staff is some of the best trained in the pest control industry.

Established in 2003.

My wife and I started this business after years of service with other companies. Our combined experience is well over 50 years. We operate our business by some simple principles.

If it is the right thing to do, do it. If it’s not, don’t.

Never do anything that is illegal, immoral or unethical. No amount of business is worth it.

Always strive to prove the trust each client has given you has not been misplaced.

We offer least toxic services only. We DO NOT hose a house down with pesticides. We identify the pest problem, offer the best solution to that problem, explain the benefits of our service and let the client make an informed decision.

Wow. Well, I try hard not to write reviews for companies that I haven’t actually spent money with. But in this case, I think I need to.
Robert just came out and spent 2 ½ hours thoroughly reviewing my entire house looking for any signs of termites. Free of charge. And afterward his recommendation was leaning toward getting a separate company to do full tenting and fumigate. In other words he spent a chunk of his day and came back with an honest answer.
If ever there were a sign of an ethical business, that’s it. So if I do need to do local treatments, I guarantee you it will be with them. This is something that saving a few bucks is not worth it and if I can find a reliable company I will definitely use them.

We just had our house tented for termites. Borite was highly recommended on Angie’s List. I cannot say enough about this company. Not only did they do the job beyond expectations but their professionalism and attention to detail is above any competition. Lance was our go-​to-​guy and he made it sincerely clear that our satisfaction was his #1 focus… along with getting the pesky critters! As if this wasn’t enough, their price was well below the larger companies. You won’t be disappointed! They can take care of all your pests needs!

I’m such a schmuck I didn’t get their names! But both men who came out were super helpful and patient and knowledgable! I thought I had bugs in my clothes and they thoroughly inspected my closet for any clues and then walked around my house giving me invaluable information on keeping pests out (I’m a new homeowner, so everything they were saying was so helpful!) They didn’t do any unnecessary work and gave me an awesome quote for maintaining my home. Great people! Will definitely call them again :)

I am extremely pleased with their service, pricing & professionalism. Joe came out for an estimate. His inspection was thorough and he was very resourceful even offering other suggestions on how to prevent pests in the house like adding a door sweep. Best of all, he wasn’t pushy. I opted to go with them for quarterly treatments because their pricing was reasonable. Joe came back for the first treatment. He spent ample time making sure he got all parts of the house cleaned and treated. He was very courteous and explained what he did so I knew specifically what & how he was treating the problem. I would highly recommend Borite & Joe to others.

Borite has excellent customer service! We were concerned when we found one rogue bedbug, and Lance came out within the week and performed a thorough inspection free-​of-​charge. Luckily, there were no visible signs of bedbugs, and he offered an economical solution rather than charging us for a full treatment, since no bedbugs were present. Would absolutely recommend!

Because of some friends’ recommendations as well as people’s recommendations on Unilocal and elsewhere, with many saying how honest they were, I had Borite come out to the house earlier today to inspect termites. They called a couple of days earlier to confirm the time, and then came right on time and inspected much of the house, including the attic and underneath the house. They found some termites in the door and sprayed various parts of the door. Incredible. I asked how much for the visit, and the guy said,
«It’s free this time.»
«Very funny. No, really…»
«It’s free. I didn’t do much. I just sprayed a little in the door.»
Well, he did quite a lot, really. Anyway, just incredible. I will call them again if the need arises.

We had serious pest problems inside and outside the perimeter of our home: ants, spiders and silver fish. We tried everything you can find at Home Depot but no progress. Robert from Borite came out, and he gave a free estimate that nearly made me pass out. We still decided to hire them after high recommendations from Angie’s list and our neighbors. Plus, they use environmentally friendly chemicals that are unharmful to pets and humans. They also work on Saturdays which is huge for working folks like me. Robert was professional, knowledgeable and so thorough during the process that now I can understand why they cost as much as they do. He dusted our interiors and exteriors for webs and pests. He even went on the second floor of our house and roof to clean and spray hard to reach areas where pest like to thrive. He vacuumed hard to reach corners in our home, garbage cans, garage and pool area. Unlike other companies, he fumigated rooms that were problematic areas and installed a weather strip to keep bugs from crawling in the bottom of a room we never use. Robert also worked around my crazy dog with no problem. It’s been almost two months since our treatment, and we have seen a significantly reduced amount of pests. No ants and silver fishes but occasional spiders. My only complaint about the company is their scheduling process is disorganized. Robert had to come back to finish a job because his schedule was packed with other appointments. This cut into two weekends for me. Despite this, I highly recommend the Borite Company and Robert for pest control.

Scheduled an inspection for two weeks out. They didn’t show up. I called them again and they had no record of the inspection. I think they should inspect their staff, perhaps.

I was referred to Borite by a friend who said before you tent your house for termites you must call Borite! I have never been so happy with a recommendation! From the moment I called them — I knew we had made a good choice! Robert Soria was the gentleman who came and gave us the estimate. He was so knowable, professional and extremely calming to the nerves. We were extremely concerned about the tenting process, and robberies that occur during the few days that you are away from your home. Borite gave us the name of a security company who we hired and again, were very happy. Because they did such an outstanding job during this very stressful time we have decided to go with them for our monthly pest monitoring as well. Choosing Borite was the best decision! You won’t be sorry!

This is my third shout out for this company Borite! I cannot say enough about these folks! Their customer service is definitely five star!!! They came immediately and took care of my flea problem in my yard. I also did a follow up to make sure all of the fleas are gone. I am still two months later flea free! They sent me a thank you card for using them and I thought that was over and above graciousness! How often do you receive a thank you card from anyone these days? And now just today as I checked my mail they had also sent me a Starbucks card! Does the kindness of these folks and their service get any better? I absolutely love these folks, and highly highly recommend them!

Simply the best! Everyone I have dealt with at Borite has been professional and knowledgeable about pest control. Last year, I started having an issue with ants and then brown widows. From the booking of the appointment with Nanette, who is wonderful, to learning all about ants and brown widows from Andrew to delving even deeper into the spider problem with Lance who powdered under the house, my experience with Borite has been great. I can only use organic products and Andrew gave me a very good descriptive of what Borite could offer which I used. The situation with the brown widows and ants abated. Lance came inside and plugged up some entryways where spiders might enter the house. Overall, excellent results and the best in customer service.

Our vacation ended abruptly when we returned home to find tons of large black flies swarming around inside a ceiling light fixture in our hall. It looked like a scene from a horror film. We didn’t smell anything funny, but knew immediately something (or some things) must have died in the attic. It was already late on Friday afternoon and we didn’t want all those flies finding a way out of the light fixture and into our house over the weekend. We’d had an excellent experience with Andrew from Borite who came and treated our wooden pergola for termites, but weren’t sure if they handled other pests, so we gave them a call. The woman who answered the phone couldn’t have been nicer, she really worked to juggle us into their schedule and sent someone out the very next afternoon. When Joe P. showed up, he was great. He immediately took care of the issue, removing two dead rats from the attic (shudder) and checked to ensure there were no other points of entry. Beyond being an all-​around incredibly nice guy, he was also incredibly knowledgeable. We learned how rats can enter a space about the size of a quarter (double shudder) and other tell tale signs. As first-​time homeowners, we are always incredibly grateful when we actually find a company that’s has good, honest and nice employees, is always reliable, shows up on time, does a great job and isn’t out to rip people off. Borite is exactly that kind of an amazing company and we HIGHLY recommend them for any of your pest control needs.

Great service! I have been using Borite for almost 3 years. They are absolutely great, knowledgeable and affordable! Last week was the first time I came face to face with my exterminator. His name was Lance. He was extremely helpful, explained quite a few things to me to help prevent little critters from invading our home. Lance would get 5 stars if he would get a review of his own. My only complaint is that they do not verify the date they are coming with the homeowner. I’m on a quarter service with borite. They leave me a message 1 – 2 day in advance, but the time prior to Lance coming, I did not get that message. The exterminator showed up early one morning and our dogs were not put away. He sounded a little upset. Confirmation of appointment times would make this a 5 star business for me.

John was great. We had an ant problem in our new house. My husband called Borite based on the Unilocal reviews and we had an appointment within 2 days. Unfortunately, it rained (what? in LA?) and they had to reschedule for a week later. John came out to our home within the prescribed window and immediately got to work. He was finished within 45 minutes (both in and outside) and we haven’t had much of an issue since. Highly recommended.

This small business deserves my ‘thank you’ review because of their great service, knowledgeable technicians (actually can really just vouch for John, but that is good as it gets!) honest practices and consistent accountability. Here’s the story: I have a small studio apt above the garage which turned up with termites in the fall of 2014. Thanks to Unilocalers, after studying just about all of the companies and reviews listed, decided to call Borite. I liked the idea of the product they use not being toxic and that they had such great reviews for their honesty.
Even with their popularity, I had an apt within three days. John came by, with the proper equipment (a big ladder) and booties (yes, booties!) to cover his feet when he entered the apt. He was calm, collected and confident. John studied the dust (keep any ‘kick out’ stuff if it turns out you do have termites and you’ve found dust looking stuff in a particular location) and confirmed termites. He treated the area by drilling small pinholes and injecting the Borite foam. He cleaned up (yes, he even brings his own dust pan and mini dust brush) and the place was perfect when he left. You can barely see the pinholes.
Now, to be honest, the termites came back. Sometimes they’ll find a new kick-​out in the same area and sometimes they’ll find a new location to make their presence known. Borite has a service promise to continue to treat for a couple of years if the termites show up in the same place. I don’t really expect the termites to go away, but I do like the idea that there is a support team to help manage them. And that’s what the company did. In three days (a fair time frame, again, in my mind!) John was back and in just a matter of 30 minutes, or so, got the location under control once again, also without leaving a trace.
We talked briefly about tenting, but that freaked me out and John was terrific about talking timelines and how they will be able to continue to with the current program for quite a while. Pretty amazing when you think about a company standing by its principles. You just go about your business not thinking about whether or not the grass is greener on the other side of the hill, or, rather, if you should be looking for another company who knows its business, cares about its reputation, acts honorably and where the employees are happy enough to transfer that attitude to the field where they hook up with you, the awkward customer who just has to trust. Well, this company has mine and it will have yours, too, if you give them a try.

We’ve used this company twice for separate termite issues. They are professional, honest, and reasonably priced.
The reason we called them again when we had another bug problem, is because I had remembered having a good experience with their service 2 years prior. The second time they proved, once again, to deliver consistent, efficient service. The same gentleman serviced us both times but I am sorry to say that I can’t remember his name.
I’d recommend their service to anyone.

I called several exterminators for quotes when bugs started dropping from my ceiling during a rain. I was pretty sure they were termites, so I called some places for estimates to tent.
John from Borite was the first appointment. He looked at the bugs and told me they weren’t termites, but wasn’t sure exactly what they were. He took a few with him to show to his expert for identification.
The next two exterminators arrived and insisted they were subterranean termites and gave me quotes of around $ 1000 to have them removed. Neither of these exterminators showed doubt and they did their best to show proof.
John called a few days later to tell me they were rose beetles — harmless bugs. No need to do anything further. Borite’s bug expert was 100% sure.
Thank you, Borite, for your honesty and thoroughness. You saved me a lot of money and effort. You are my go-​to company for bug issues from now on.

I have used Borite on two houses now. I called them 3 years ago when I owned a ‘20s duplex that had major spider issues. And last month when I moved into my new place I called them again for spiders and ants. Their system works. They spray, come back in 30 days and then come back once a quarter. Is it cheap? Not at a glance, but in the long run, yes — because the problem goes away. I have used those larger companies in the past. They charge you $ 30 monthly but the issue is never resolved. I’d rather call Borite and know I am getting every pennies worth. I will take Borite services with me wherever I go!
