BK electric saved the day! When I had a huge flood in my house on sunday, they had a plumber and an electrician over asap to assess the source of the problem and help me get the water and electricity back on. Everyone was super responsive and helpful during my emergency!

I’m a new, first time homeowner and I needed a pretty big electrical job done that involved upgrading my panel, relocating the service, installing several new outlets, and fixing a couple of minor wiring issues. Alexis, the office manager, was extremely helpful and communicative throughout the process, moving around some scheduling so it could be done before I had family visiting from out of town. They did a ton of work in a single day at what, to someone who is inexperienced, seemed a very reasonable price. In addition, Liron offered to install a proper covered outdoor outlet on my back patio at no extra cost (simply because he noticed it was an indoor outlet with no ground fault interruption and not up to code). Then on top of everything, my house was kind of crazy that day because I had also scheduled the delivery of a new mattress and bedroom set, and they worked around that smoothly — one of the guys even helped me move the new king size mattress to the bedroom when he saw me struggling with it alone. The only ding I would give is that we had a miscommunication about the way the location of the old panel was covered, because I didn’t understand it needed to remain accessible as it’s acting as a junction box. But my overall experience with Alexis, Liron, and his crew was overwhelmingly positive.

I needed some work done in my condo in encino. I agree with the other reviews the crew that was sent out were quick and professional. I will for sure call them next time!!!

Liron and his team did an excellent job installing outdoor lights and identifying and fixing some interior issues. They were fast, friendly and left everything clean. Liron was very helpful in following up to adjust the lights, and making sure everything worked perfectly. I would definitely recommend using them.

Liron & his team did the electric in my whole house: put LED recess lights (saves a lot of $$ on my electric bill), put child safe outlets (the best), dimmers in selected rooms, lights outside the house… They were very pleasant, reliable, professional & fast. I would recommend them to my family & friends (some also used them & were very happy), and to anyone who is looking for honest hard working guys that will do an amazing job.

A woman (the owner? not sure) from BK Electric Services is harassing me via text now because I left this negative Unilocal review. She is threatening to sue me for slander if I don’t take the review down by Noon. I have filed a Better Business Bureau complaint about this company and will share the results of that, which I know will be in my favor. This company left my house mid-​job and ruined one of my outlets that was working.

My company has had reason to use ‘BK Electric Services’ twice and both times they have solved our electrical issues in a timely matter. I can’t recommend them enough.

Well he certainly was a great salesman and we paid Liron $ 2000 for a new panel and $ 6600 for electrical work on our 1400 SQ FT house, including what we were told were state-​of-​the-​art LED recessed lights (manufactured by a company owned by a friend of his). We have blinking lights in every room and one breaker that continues to pop due to an overloaded NEW circuit.
After weeks of excuses about how he’ll come back and correct these issues we’ve heard nothing. I do not recommend this contractor!

A++++++++ service from this company! We highly recommend B.K. Electric and Liron. Liron and B.K. Electric are at the top of the heap of home service providers. We would not call anyone else to perform electrical work on our home. To summarize B. K’s service, I received a near immediate response to my initial inquiry. Alexis, who arranges appointments for B.K. and listens to customers’ requests, returned my call within ½ hour and knew exactly what I meant as I ineptly described different electrical concerns. She was able to get me on the schedule without much of a wait and gave me a price range as well (quite reasonable) for the laundry list I had set forth. On the date of my appointment, Liron and his helper (Victor I believe) were very prompt, arriving at 8 a.m. sharp. They waited patiently as I showed them the various projects and then set right to work. Other electricians we have had to our home have not had a great understanding of the particularities of a low voltage system, but Liron did not even pause. They did everything thoughtfully and well, asking me questions to ensure that everything was done to my liking (e.g., did I want the sconce light to face upwards or downwards; what power light bulb did we want in the shower light). They cleaned up the work spaces as they went as well, including removing old fixtures and disposing of them. The tricky part of our work order was getting the pool and spa lights to work and to confirm that the grounding was done correctly. Liron and his helper spent quite a while thinking about the wiring by our pool and devising the most effective way to rewire the lights so that they would work and be properly grounded. They were not hurried to leave, even though they were being paid by job, not by the hour. After they completed all the projects I had laid out, Liron walked our entire property with me, looking at the outdoor electrical and giving me advice on future electrical updates to consider. Liron is an expert electrician and enjoys a challenge. I encourage anyone seeking excellent electrical work to call this company!

Liner and Luis were prompt, professional and I was amazed how they found a path through our house that didn’t intrude in main lounging areas to cut into walls. All work was done quickly and efficiently. Thank you BK Electric! I found my electrician for all needs.

The heavy rains last month revealed some bad electrical work done to my house that I previously not known about since I moved in last summer. I was having issues with a circuit breaker tripping. I set up an appointment with BK Electric and they dispatched out Liron quickly to meet with me to resolve this issue. Some investigating revealed it was a larger problem than anticipated due to wiring work that had been previously done by someone who was most likely not a licensed electrician. Liron was able to offer a solution and schedule the work.
Additionally, he suggested I upgrade my circuit breaker panel from 100 amp to 200. He said it was strange for a house my size and age to have been built with a 100 amp box. LADWP confirmed this as well and the LADWP rep was very confused that the builders would have used such a box. I contracted BK Electric to upgrade my panel. They handled the permits, inspections and stucco repair as well, which made the experience for me very easy and seamless. I was very appreciative of all their hard work and efforts. I’ll definitely reach out to them in the future for my electrical needs.

I own a store in the sherman oaks area and I have done some remodeling and i was given Liron’s name as a referral from a good friend of mine. I trusted his judgement in what he suggested i do in terms of lighting for the shop. His crews were always on time and very pedantic with the work they did and also cleaned up very nicely.

A friend referred me to bk electric when our entire kitchen appliance and electrical went out. It was a super hot day in the valley so i gave them a call and they came out about 40 minutes later. The tech said that there was an overload and that the fridge and oven were on the same circuit and the microwave was on the same circuit as all the gfcis in the kitchen. all this meant was like chinese to me ii know nothing about electrical, but he was very honest and he explained it to me in detail. Another tech came they needed 2 people to do the work and it was complete in 3 hours. 1 week later everything is working like it should be. the guys were awesome.

The work that was done ended up being very good quality. I had to stand my ground to make sure the job was done as promised. I didn’t appreciate the way Liron spoke to me. Basically he was very defensive when I questioned an aspect of the completed work. (I wanted a brick to anchor the electrical tube instead of the wood they used against the ground. I was worried the wood would quickly rot from the water that collects in the exact area and just wanted something that would not rot like a brick or cement piece.) Liron had the guys do a nice job but I did not find him professional enough. He was so angry with me and annoyed to have to fix the work. They did other lighting and I’ve had no problems. Maybe he was just having a bad day.

I could not be happier with professionals at B.K. Electric services. They were on time, efficient, made virtually NO mess, changed a switched, a light dimmer and ENTIRE fuse box! In about ONE hour. They were very polite and very nice. The pricing is reasonable as well, they didn’t pull their fees out of the a$$ or anything. Charged us exactly how they quoted. It was pleasure to have them around.

These guys are awesome! I found them on Craigslist several years ago and was a bit skeptical since there were not referred to me by anyone (which is how I usually do business). I remodel homes for a living and my go to electrician at the time was injured and could not assist me. BK services came out exactly when they said they would, were very familiar with dealing with all of the compliance, permits, and meeting the inspector when needed with LA Dept of Building and Safety, finished on time, and were very reasonable. Both Alexis and Liron who run the company are very friendly. I have recommended them to other people in my industry and several friends in need of an electrician. I never think of using anyone else.

Just had them come out and do 10 recessed lights in my living room also fix many problems i had with receptacles /​kitchen lights & fan.
Very happy with there service, came in and out very fast and professional, even took a look at my breaker box and pointed out a few problems that I’ll need to attend to later.
Now sure about the other people, but i was very impressed with there service.
