My fiancée and I got in touch with Avital after seeing her top reviews on Trulia and Unilocal.We were first-​time home buyers and completely new to the LA housing market. After our first meeting with Avital, we immediately felt like we could work with her.
She was patient in answering all of our questions and walked us step-​by-​step through the home-​buying process. She also helped inform our expectations on what we could realistically get in this market and was always objective in her assessment of potential units that we were looking at.

I can’t say enough about the truly *incredible* experience I had purchasing my first home with Avital. .. but I’ll try.
One of two huge factors in our success was the pre-​experience questionnaire Avi offered. This gave me the chance to express on paper, and again verbally, exactly what I *needed* and what I *wanted*. My honesty and willingness to communicate paid immediate returns. Avi took that information and had me looking at the most appropriate properties right off the bat.
On our third day of looking we found what became my new home. And we hit the bulls eye. From the moment we began looking to the moment we closed only 32 days elapsed. This included a 29-​day escrow. I worked closely with Avi to coordinate a fair offer. It was quickly accepted.
The second huge factor is the connection Avi and I developed with the seller and her agent. The seller works in the same profession as I do and recently became a single mother. She chose to sell because the layout of the property didn’t fit her need to care for an infant. We could tell from the moment we walked in to view the property that it was not staged, that the seller took great pride in the upkeep, furnishing and remodeling of her place.
For 25 years my professional status made purchasing a home much riskier that it is now that I have a staff job. Working freelance brings a certain X-​factor into budgeting. As we stood on the rooftop deck I told Avi how compelling it was that I’d have an opportunity to purchase from a colleague who can appreciate the financial tightrope freelancers have to walk. Avi suggested I write a short letter to include with our offer, pointing that out as well as the appreciation I had for what how the seller maintained her home.
That letter made the deal.
Our offer was quickly accepted. During the walk-​through the seller’s agent pointed out several times how much impact that letter had. It made our offer stand above the rest. It assured a reluctant seller her former home would be well taken care of. It humanized the experience for everyone. It helped make what could have been a tense, scary situation into an easy, friendly one for all parties.
Avi was available during every step of my experience, before, during and after. I was apprehensive. I needed to make sure I wasn’t overextending my budget. I had a million questions and half of them were asked more than once.
Every question I had was answered promptly and with warmth. If Avi wasn’t the best person to answer the question she’d quickly refer me to the right person. Communication between Avi and the seller’s agent was seamless. Ditto for communications with the escrow company. Avi is a very pro-​active agent. I did my part to make sure she had everything she needed to do her job. She worked with blazing speed.
I’ve heard too many stories from folks who’ve had rough, negative experiences with their agents. Mine was the opposite. We took care of business swiftly and became friends in the process. Now every time I walk across the threshold of my first new home I’ll always be reminded of the help I had purchasing it and the satisfaction everyone had in the transaction.
You can’t put a price on that.
