I was in search of a sweet treat and hit the jackpot. I had seen an ad in the local newspaper and decided this was the place I wanted to try. They seem to offer lots of discount deals. The newspaper ad offered 20% off with the coupon. On their front door they also had a sign offering 20% off if you donated a toy from the dollar store that is next door. The sign also advertised a special deal for Mondays where the maximum you’ll pay for a cup of this frozen yogurt is $ 5. I adventured in and found an extremely clean shop with plenty of tables and chairs. I told the lady working there that this was my first visit to this business. She came around the counter and walked me through the process. She pointed out the section of flavors that are non fat. Before she had a chance to tell me I inquired about low sugar options. She then pointed out the two flavors that have no added sugar(Raspberry or Cheesecake). The rest of the flavors, for which there were plenty, were regular frozen yogurt. The friendly shop worker pointed out the three sizes of cups but informed me the product is sold by the ounce. After taking a half cup of Cheesecake and a half cup of Raspberry I checked out the wide assortment of toppings. If I was a kid in a candy store I could have loaded up on all sorts of goodies. They also had plenty of healthy toppings. I chose a few plump fresh blueberries to top my cheesecake yogurt. Then came the best part of all. I put my generous serving on the scale and she told me the grand total was $ 2.97 I decided not to use the coupon as I want this business to do well enough to stay around for a while. The frozen yogurt was extremely creamy and a wonderful sweet treat that was also healthy. I’ll be back as a supporter of local businesses.(This one happens to be a family run operation.)
