Really really good food! Homemade ice cream is out of this world.
But get it to-​go! Place is very dirty… tables, floors, yuck.

The desserts are great… the deli, not so much. The chicken salad and tuna are particularly disgusting. Each come in a huge tub pre-​made from some factory. $ 8 for some factory made tuna, chips and a drink is a bit much.
We will be back, but only for the sweets.

My family and I drove to the Shelbyville store to try it out. I had the peach ice cream in a sugar cone and my daughter had two scoops, strawberry and chocolate in a waffle cone. I found the ice cream to be reasonably priced and the size of the scoops were larger than expected :). Our ice cream was excellent! I saw two lady’s order pie and start eating it before getting to the counter to pay. Must be good pie too.
Both young men waiting on customers were smiling and very pleasant.
After consuming our ice cream in the store I talked with the young man (I think Christian was his name) who waited on my family. He graciously answered my questions about the business. He was knowledgeable about the business as a whole. (13 total stores, recently opened one in Indiana) I told him we drove up from Frankfort and he invited us to come back. Worth the drive and we will be back.

After months of reading glowing reviews about this business in Louisville I decided to try the Shelbyville, KY location.
Disappointment is my best description.
I went in to the «Open» business to find that the majority of the ice cream freezers were empty and not working. The employee said they would be fixed by the next time I visit. The business salvaged a small variety of ice creams in the one freezer that was working but none of the flavors were what I was hoping for.
The cut pies were a total mess. I did purchase one slice and it was good but overpriced. I can and do make just as good pies myself.
I’ll be taking my dessert business elsewhere.
