I told my wife I was leaving her, after having the lobster roll here. I had found something that would make me as happy as marriage. That was confirmed after a slice of the Ruben pizza. After sharing a Spartan pizza with her a few nights later, she understood and we agreed to share our marriage with the food here. Everyone wins. Some items are on the pricy side, but that’s because they use fresh seafood in their baskets and sandwiches. In the past week we’ve ordered take out from here 3 times, and have yet to find a bad dish. If you are looking for a great meal at a decent price, stop by if you’re in the area.

Showed up at 8 am for heady delivery on Monday. Around 9:45 or so told by clerk heady truck was running late and they’d be releasing heady at 3 pm. Left to go to another location. About 15 – 30 minutes later saw on Twitter Rt. 7 was selling cases so drove right back to store. Got to store. Asked clerk for heady. Said they sold out. Asked clerk why he sold cases if he told those of us that had been waiting all morning that he was releasing at 3 pm. Immediately the clerk gave an attitude and made a smart remark. Poor customer service and untrustworthy clerk. Scored many heady’s that day so not bitter about not getting any just couldn’t believe the clerk lied and then talked to me with an attitude like I was the one that was rude. Glad I didn’t spend my money there!

I get really frustrated when I’m trying to patronize a business and the cashier tells me I’m holding up the line. I suppose the line would move more quickly if I wasn’t in it, patronizing a different establishment.

The sandwiches are good and huge for the price but the pizza and«Italian» food is really, really bad. If you want real Italian drive up the street somewhere else because you’re not going to get it here. It wasn’t the friendliest staff either. The main problem is, you will stand there waiting for someone to take your order, there will be three girls making food in front of you and not a single one with greet you. They don’t smile, they are not pleasant. So you stand there like an idiot until one decides to take your order. That’s not the biggest deal in the world, but it certainly makes me second guess spending my money there. And the parking… don’t get me started.

This is a great beer store/deli/seafood mart that’s filled with many local and national craft brews which are replenished on a weekly basis. I’m always able to find my favorite VT brews and it has numerous others that are frequently rotated. The staff are friendly and the prices are competitive, so i definitely suggest checking this place out for the beer selection. I have yet to try the deli or seafood mart out as of yet, but plan to do so in the near future.

Cheap lobster rolls(and whole lobster), an amazing selection of alcohol, great people and lots of other good eats. This is the kind of place I could eat at once a week without a doubt!

When the regular staff are on the store is top 5 in northern Vermont hands down. Prompt, friendly service along with a menu that is a positive surprise. Cant go wrong with the route 7 liquor and deli!

The flow to this store is bonkers, but it has everything you could possibly need — liquor, beer, pizza, wings. The deli has tons of choices and most importantly they have lobster rolls which are so delicious and taste fresher than what you’ll find at a restaurant. It can get busy during weekend evenings so call ahead.

Needs to use better bread. So I had a to be down on Shelburne Road late this afternoon. It was after 2PM and I hadn’t eaten a thing all day and I was starving. I stopped here and went out back to get something to eat. The menu boards were full of specials, wraps, pizzas and fried seafood. I went with a medium Italian grinder. When the young lady finished making my sandwich, wrapping it in deli paper and passed it to me I almost couldn’t believe it. The sandwich was huge and it must have weighed like 2 lbs. The grinder and a house brand cream soda set me back like 11 bucks. Which was OK given the size of the grinder. Well I ate outside at one of their picnic tables and with the first bite I knew I was in trouble. The quality of the cold cuts, veggies, cheese and dressing were fine. It was the bread that killed it. I don’t believe I’ve ever had a more airy, crumbly and unsubstantial grinder roll. It just fell apart. I’ll give this place another shot but they really have to get away from what they’re using now. I couldn’t finish the second half of the crumbly grinder. Rather than throw it away, which would have been a sin according to my Irish Mother, I went downtown and found a hungry street person to give it to.

After visiting a local brewery, we stopped in here at the recommendation of the local brewer in search of some good local craft beer to take back to our hotel room. We found some decent stuff here. It’s set up sort of haphazardly and you have to take a few minutes to browse around the beer aisle to find what you want. This place is sort of a convenience store /deli /beer store combination. I can only comment on the beer. Not bad!

I will never go to this place again. Can’t review their food but couldn’t even get good service utilizing their bottle redemption facility. They were downright rude and made me feel like I was an inconvenience in their busy day. Horrible experience.
