Nice little hole-in-the-wall joint! Great place to get good food & cheap! Nice folks that run it too! We were checking out the glacial rocks & holes nearby & this place was literally around the corner.

The family and I stopped for lunch here after seeing the Bridge of Flowers, which is right down the street. It is a simple diner, but has good quality food and a very friendly waitstaff. Everything we needed it to be. Thanks.

Everything was good!!! We went in for a late breakfast. We had Cinnamon French Toast with Real Maple syrup. No extra charge like other places. Omelet was Loaded!!! Really good honest home fries. Cornbeef Hash was excellent. Moist yet crunchy. We will definitely be back. Good price and clean place.

Came for a late breakfast. Ordered the blueberry pancakes and the loaded hashbrowns. Both were excellent. The coffee was good, and the waitress came by a lot to make sure I was okay and to warm up the coffee. There was real maple syrup on the side and real blueberries in the pancakes. Hashbrowns had cheddar and bacon melted on. Call my cardiologist. Damn fine place. I tipped twice my bill. It was that good(and pretty inexpensive).

An institution! Really good, homemade diner food at a ridiculously low price. Staff are helpful and accommodating to people with disabilities, though like everywhere in Shelburne Falls the entrance has steep stairs.

Had lunch in here one day, opted for their Chef’s salad. Vegetables appeared fresh, the salad was rather ordinary. Service was good, staff was friendly.

Pretty average. Nothing bad. Nothing great. The veggie omelette was blah but tasted ok. The homefries needed some salt and spice. The coffee was hot and the service was friendly.

We went to the Bridge of Flowers in Shelburne Falls and wanted a quick, reasonably priced lunch afterwards. Reading mostly positive reviews on Unilocal,we chose this place. The service was good, friendly staff, and very speedy. However, the food was not tasty. We both ordered cheeseburgers which were 2.3 ounce frozen patties. They were kind of gross. We also split a bowl of corn chowder, which was ok. They do not accept credit cards, yet there was no obvious indications that it was cash only. Luckily there was a bank next-door, so it worked out. The people were nice, so I’m giving it 2 stars, but the food really deserves only 1. We won’t be going back.

This place is a no thrills diner but it serves up some delicious grub. I ordered a short-stack of Strawberry Pancakes here for breakfast and I am still thinking about how delicious they were, and for only $ 4.75! Definitely stop by Foxtown Diner if you are visiting the Bridge of Flowers! Free refills on coffee as well.

Highly suggested! I just has breakfast/brunch with three gals. Three of us get delicious strawberry pancakes, with cream, for just less than $ 5. One of us get an egg sandwich and a fresh handmade donut(donuts are $ 0.50 each!). Coffee, has free refill. Cheap, good, family oriented and authentic.

I have a special place in my heart for diners where you can actually see the food being made, and when my hamburger came to me looking like a real hamburger, not like something from Chili’s, I knew I’d found a place I would like. The coffee is good, the service attentive, and you can actually see the desserts on the counter before ordering them. It’s all good.

I visited the Foxtown Diner a couple of weeks ago. I’m a fan of small town restaurants and can tell when one is pretty good when locals are regulars. In this case man of the people in there were both. Good sign. I was over at Eddie’s Wheels having some work done on my dogs cart which was taking a few hours, so I grabbed something to eat here. I had one of the specials. The turkey club with fries. I had originally wanted the meatball sub special, but when I found out they didn’t actually make the meatballs I changed my mind to the turkey club instead. The food was average, but I hadn’t expected anything more. I would come here again if I was in the neighborhood just because of the good service I did receive.

Great small town diner. Great prices I have always had good service. I stopped in for dinner with my 2 year old son. He kept asking for pancakes. Even though they were not serving breakfast they made him some. It made his day.

This is a lovely small town diner. Good pricing. Friendly, courteous and efficient staff, with the best french toast and real local maple syrup.

Fox Towne is one of my favorite places to eat breakfast. Its a small town diner, simple and straight forward. The menu is limited, but has the standard diner foods, sammiches, burgers, breakfast. I always get breakfast; its good, not great, but you get what you asked for every time. The place is clean, the staff is quick and professional. Some of the waitresses are friendlier than others, but they’re all good at their job. There can sometimes be a little bit of a delay with your order, depending on how busy the place it. There’s just one small grill, so if there are a lot of people in the place, you may have to wait a few minutes. Menu: B+(tiny diner menu) Food: B+ Wait staff: A– Atmosphere: A(it’s a diner, not fancy, but most important: CLEAN!) They are open in the evening/night for dinner, but I haven’t yet been in for that yet.

A real local joint. I eat there for lunch 2 – 3 times a week. I usually just take whatever the special is: Mac & Cheese, Chicken Pot Pie, Clam Roll. It’s just basic comfort food and a good price. Lunch specials are usually $ 3.50 to $ 5. Always a good selection of pies for desert. I want to stress that there is nothing fancy about this place. The soup of day is always a variety of Campbell’s. I also can’t think of a better place for breakfast. The homefries are perfect, and Pat can cook eggs anyway you like them. To try something new for breakfast ask for a hash omelet. Not a good place for vegetarians, pre se. There is no salad on the menu, though they do offer veggie burgers. Cash only.

Tiny, local and inviting… Foxtown(e) is a cute little sandwich shop where you can also get a decent cup of coffee… Hit them up before you wander down to watch folks blow beautiful bits into life at North River Glass… continue on to the Potholes for some fantastically lazy swimming/wading, a sunset over the Bridge of Flowers and cap it all off by taking in a show at Memorial Hall… Not a terrible choice if you’re in Shelburne Falls and want to save some cash but if you’re up for some tastier stuff wander up or down the street a bit…
