How did I not know about this place?! Blown away by the quality of the ingredients and the friendly family vibe. This place is an absolute gem with a view. It would totally be worth a day trip from Boston or New York just for this experience (but I’d also take the hike to High Ledges, too). Tour the sugar house, walk around the farm, take in the fresh early spring air. They have their own grass-​fed meat and eggs, and they sell their grass-​fed milk to go into Sidehill’s Yogurt (another of my favorite local businesses). Only open during 6 weeks of sugar season, but that makes it even more precious. I’ll plan to be there the first weekend in March next year!

While the restaurant is only open during sugaring season, the farm is always running. Just up their driveway and a left past the home, on the right hand side is a barn. Inside the door immediately on the right there is a fridge. Fresh raw milk, and eggs. Help yourself, make your own change, open 24⁄7. Nothing beats true fresh from the farm milk and eggs.
