Established in 1993 as Kansas City’s first «Do it Yourself «pet wash, U-​Wash Puppy provides a pleasant way to bond with your pet while getting them brushed and clean. The waist-​high, full sized bathtubs make it easy to wash your pet and protects your back and neck from the strain of bending over. A large platform, next to the tub, is a convenient area to blow dry and comb out your dog. Rubber floor mats line the tub area to prevent slipping on damp floors.

We provide everything you need to wash your dog: soap/​shampoo, towel brushes/​combs and blow drier, and don’t forget our very own «Kennel #5» cologne to make you pooch smell fresh for weeks. We also have all the «speciality» brushes that you may need for when your dog is shedding. Once you have been to U-​Wash Puppy you’ll never wash you dog at home again. It was our first time going today and we will definitely be back. The service was great and they were super helpful! We took both of our dogs and they were well behaved because of the environment. So worth it to not have your house a mess after washing furry pets! Thanks for the great service!

There are 8 bays here with bathtub and drying area. Water is warm with good pressure. The owner was very knowledgeable and involved in helping everyone and was constantly circulating, bringing out products, and offering suggestions. They have some heavy duty undercoat rakes and brushers that worked really well. Disposable aprons come in handy when your dog decides to shake himself off midway through. Price is by size of dog, $ 14 for my 60 pound mutt (though size is measured by height, not weight). Great little spot, I’ll be back for sure.

Exactly what we needed to give our GSD a bath! We felt bad about it but we were able to leave the mess and didn’t have to clean up all the hair! They also provided a «de-​shedding» brush that we don’t own to use on her. We’ll be back!

First time here earlier today after moving to the area. My four year old Yorkie Cesar came out looking and smelling great! The very nice man at the counter showed me where everything was at and gave me hair softener/​detangler and dog perfume to use on my boy. We will definitely be back!

I love this place! It’s affordable, easy to do and the staff is very friendly and inviting. I have a large basset hound so bathing has always been nearly impossibly for me to do on my own. But at U-​Wash Puppy, we were in and out in 20 minutes, fresh & clean dog and all. Highly recommended!

I love UWash Puppy! The owner, Pat, is friendly and LOVES dogs. My dog Cali trots right up the stairs into the tub anxiously awaiting a treat from Pat when the dirty deed is done. Nice facility, warm water and no backache for me. Best value in town.

I recently moved to KS and came across U Wash Puppy. I highly recommend this place to anyone who has a dog that needs a good wash! Their tubs are clean, the water is warm, and a variety of brushes are provided to you to help with hair control. I have an 80 pound golden retriever and washing him is not an easy task! This place makes it worth every penny. Reasonable-​weight based prices and a super clean facility!

Washing a 72 pound lab mix who considers himself a lap dog is no easy feat, but U Wash Puppy made it at least 100 times easier and that isn’t an exaggeration. In the summer I can just hose him down in my front yard, but the winter months full of snow and sleet produce a wet dog smell that can not be sprayed off in freezing temps. U Wash Puppy supplies everything at an incredibly reasonable price (they have a size chart that prices are based off) and cleans up after too so I am not left with the 45 minute task of picking clumps of dog hair out of my bath mats. They also provide aprons for the pet parents to wear during the wash, which is awesome.

Nice, nice folks here. You provide dog-​they provide bathtub, soap, dryer, etc. I like it as it saves my bathroom from the hairy dog smell/​mess, but my dog is not sold on the super-​power blowdryer.
