Handcrafted, small-​batch beers brewed with all-​natural, whole-​food ingredients sourced as locally and as organically as possible.

History

Established in 2009.

Brewed on the banks of the Delaware River in the heart of the Pocono Mountains, ShawneeCraft ales and lagers are manufactured in keeping with centuries-​old traditions: unfiltered, unpasteurized, and free of any artificial preservatives or shelf stabilizing agents. The resulting handmade beers are fresh, complex, and deeply satisfying. We brew with all-​natural, whole-​food ingredients sourced as locally and as organically as possible. We tread lightly: most of our equipment is secondhand or salvaged, we compost spent grain, we grow ingredients, and we obsessively recycle heat during the brewing process.

Tim’s rules!!! Great spot for beer lovers they have something for everyone. Me and my girlfriend where in the area and we decided to come in here for a drink. Great selection of beers bartender answered all the questions about beers and brewing process and also does tour of the facility. Loved the bourbon Barrel Porter and the coffee Porter

Really cool brewery to visit. The place is a former ice skating rink that they converted into a brewery. The feuding of the building is great, including a lot of metal elements from a local blacksmith. We had an abbreviated tour (which was still good) and sidled up to the bar to do some sampling. To go with the chill atmosphere was some great beer and some passionate employees. I know that they will tell you that they stick to traditional styles of beer, but I would say that with the rarity that you actually see some of these styles, they are pretty experimental. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area!

Awesome beer and a cool space! The 4pm tour is definitely worth attending and the tap room is a great place to try some food pairings and hear some local music (when they hold special events) or just grab a pint.
