My mother-in-laws project. Let me start out by saying Gary is a great salesman and worked his magic to sell the project to my mother-in-law. He promised the world and comes across as your best friend, a real good-olé-boy. Sure, we can cut this tree, trim that one, it will take 3 to 4 days of work(complete in 1). $ 3800. The tree trimming and take down went fairly smooth as it was a winter project, one large and one medium pine. The crew is rough and a little hokey. They left numerous cigarette butts in the snow. They were paid in full(I suggested otherwise but was overruled) and were to come back in the spring and chip away the stumps, add topsoil and seed the area. After numerous calls, no response at all. I ended up chewing the remaining stump area myself, added 3 yards of topsoil and seed. Grass is growing but my mother-in-laws«green» we will never get back. Skip these guys and go with a reputable crew with multiple quotes and references.

Gary’s tree service contracted to cut down two trees, grind three stumps, trim some branches, level the area where the trees had been removed, and to seed and apply straw to the seeded area. Gary’s cut down two trees, and ground two of the three stumps promised. They trimmed some, but not all of the branches promised, leveled and seeded the areas where the trees were cut down. They did not have straw, and consequently, did not apply the promised straw on the newly seeded area. Despite repeated contacts, they have not come back to grind out the remaining stump that they promised to remove.
