I have been slowly giving up on this place! I always check the hours online… and then I go there and they close hours early. It’s like they make their own hours up and leave when they feel like it. And several people I talked said they went there knowing it would he open for several more hours and it was closed! They obviously don’t want business!

This location was my first visit– we were kind of on the fly and happened to pass by and get some ice cream. and we are so glad that we did. Their oreo ice cream is AMAZINGGGGGG. Better then anything I’ve ever had. They are super friendly here as well. Never too busy. Kind of love that they have a Nathan’s too. love those french fries. French fries and ice cream– nothing better! Doing it right! I’m pretty sure they’re open all year long as well. They sit across from Coldstone and they are a great bargain compared to Coldstone!!!

Love love love Brusters! Their ice cream is so creamy and delicious and they have about 20 different flavors to chose from on any given day. Beware — they rotate which flavors they sell — Monday they might have that amazing crunchy peanut butter something or other(forget the rest of the name) that you loved, but then Tuesday they have replaced it with a different flavor. That’s ok, though! I have 4 go to’s there: Oreo, Mint chocolate chip, Strawberry, and that peanut butter what’s his name :). Some of the flavors never come off the menu, so have no fear! You can also take home pints and quarts of ice cream, home made ice cream sandwiches(drool), and ice cream cakes! Wow! The young staff is very friendly — we have ALWAYS had a pleasant experience here. They give free treats to your dog and free kiddie scoops(around ½ scoop) for the itty bitty kids… we loved that when our kids were just little and we didn’t want to get them a whole bowl of ice cream. Everything is very clean and well kept, and the service both at the walk up counter and at the drive thru is speedy! The food here is yummy, too! They serve Nathan’s hot dogs and mini corn dogs. The fries are so/so… we prefer crispier fries, but still a good meal if that is your thing. As you can see, we have had several experiences here… especially during my pregnancies! This is the best ice cream in the area!

My husband and I just discovered Bruster’s and I have been telling others to go and check it out. We passed this business many times but never stopped in until the other day and now this is where we go for water ice, delicious. Ice cream fabulous and the hot dogs are so good I don’t want anything on them, their good by themselves. The service was very good, the staff is pleasant and friendly. I have to say I was surprised about how nice the workers were. It was refreshing to see the young people working hard and having a good attitude. We enjoy going there and sitting at the picnic table to chat and eat. There is also a drive thru. Glad we discovered Bruster’s, you can taste the difference.

There are a million places in Washington Township to buy ice cream, but Bruster’s is not one of them. What. A. Disaster. My wife and I stood in line for over 20 minutes waiting for some old hag(who I now have discovered is in fact the owner) to scoop out our favorite snack. When we finally got to the front, she told us her stock was running low and we’d have to go to the other line. When we told her that was ridiculous and that we had just waited in line for 20+ minutes, she told us she didn’t care. Quite frankly, I think she forgot how many different places there are to get ice cream in our area. We left without any ice cream and I absolutely refuse to go back. I don’t care how good their commercialized ice cream is, their customer service is terrible.

Junky, and low quality are two words that come to mind. We went to Brusters to support a child in our area who has cancer. I was happy to donate, but the desserts were terrible. Very chemical type of taste. You’re better off buying Ben and Jerrys or Breyers ice cream or Hagen Das sorbet and sitting on the porch to eat dessert as those brands are of much better quality and taste. I don’t know how this place survives. YUCK!

Maybe this will tell you all that you need to know: Bruster’s is located directly across the street from Cold Stone Creamery, but there is always a line of cars at Bruster’s. They have well made ice cream in a variety of nifty flavors, e.g. Oreo cheesecake, cotton candy explosion, peanut butter cream. Their drive through moves quickly and prices are reasonable. Winner, winner chicken dinner. No… winner, winner sheen dinner. No… winner, winner ice cream dinner!
