Service was quick, efficient and professional. Felt like a trustworthy, family run business. The prices were fair and the tire quality was better than the competition.

Long story Short, my Mercedes was in need of Alignement and I went to one place said they could did it Not right still out of alignment went to Goodyear on my sons advise because there is a special way the vehicle needs to be done and not just any shop will be able to do it, sure enough the guy at Goodyear knew exactly what I was talking about gave me a before and after toe and angle print out and boy was he GOOD my vehicle tracked like a Beast straight as an Arrow … Look no hands I’m so happy I found competent techs !! As for the ladie with a «Couple Nails «in here tire and wanted it patch … That was funny … Seriously using the Unilocal to Bad Mouth them, Your Boyfriend must be a LUCKY GUY lol ! !

This was my second visit to this store. I gave my first visit a pass, mostly because we were looking for specialty tires and they had a very limited, very expensive (more than we have paid previously) selection. But this visit shows poor business skills and approach to problem-​solving.
I dropped my vehicle off for a diagnosis and (possible) patch job on my tire. I came back to find that they had found two nails «outside of the repairable zone.» However, they pulled these nails «to check if they were causing the leak», causing my tire to now be unusable; connect the dots and that means I need to purchase a tire in order to drive my car. They had called me prior to my arrival, but had failed to mention this, nor did they wait to make sure I was willing to take the risk, as if they had left the nail in place, I would still be able to have a slow leak, fill, and be able to wait to purchase a new set for when I get payed next (most of my tires need to be replaced, hence just wanting a patch).
Instead of understanding our point of view when we expressed our displeasure, but the sale’s associate and the owner instead argued with us. The owner stated that they weren’t trying to screw us over (even though they had), but he said either way he’s the bad guy, because he has in the past told people they need new tires before pulling the nail, but when they took it to another tire store they only needed it patched. He stated they had been there since 1986, and that they had a «parking lot full of cars» because they do good business, but I honestly think it’s because of the well-​known goodyear name. I personally tried to speak with him only once during the whole exchange as it was mainly him and my boyfriend arguing, but instead of letting me finish a suggestion on how to avoid this miscommunication in the future by contacting the client to ask them if removal was okay, he interrupted me twice, effectively making it impossible for me to communicate unless I wanted to shout. He stated he wouldn’t charge us, so I took my key and left with the spare on my car.
Along with this, I know places like costco, pep boys, walmart, etc have offers for buying multiple tires. Goodyear only offers a $ 40 mail in rebate (not really great when you’re spending near or over $ 500), oh, but you can double it to $ 80 if you want to put it on a credit card.
Never going back again.

Awesome — I have the hardest time finding a repair shop that I can trust but I can finally say, «I found one!». Very reliable and courteous staff. I came to Bay Area to replace a tire on my Pathfinder. I researched tire prices online and actually found the tire I wanted cheaper at a local competitor. I asked if they would price match and they said absolutely! I got the tire I wanted for the price I wanted. They repaired my tire in under an hour, and best yet they were very accurate on their wait times. They told me 45min — 1 hour wait (which shocked me considering how busy they were). The woman who works the front desk is so friendly! She greets everyone as they come in the door with a smile. I will use this place for any future car maintenance or repairs.

I would recommend good year in severna park to everyone! I’m 21 and my tire blew out and I was stuck at giant and didn’t have the right tools to get my tire off! And Dan willing came to my car and took it off! Best customer service I’ve had in a long time! Thank you!
