If you have chemical sensitivities or just want a healthy home, Susan Bahl from Natural Home Design is THE BEST person to go to. I needed flooring for my new condo. Susan showed me healthy choices for carpet, cork, wood and marmoleum. I needed to test each product so she gave me multiple samples to take home. She was knowledgeable, patient and understanding — she GETS IT! She knew which brands of carpet, cork and wood floors were non-​toxic, and which were treated with antimicrobial chemicals, or contained toxic solvents or glues. She knew how to do non-​toxic installations of flooring with safe materials. She was supportive and kind — I am very grateful to have found her. I decided on a pre-​finished floating wood floor for my condo — it came out beautifully and I’ve had no ill effects from the products or installation whatsoever. I am SO HAPPY! PS. if you get a pre-​finished wood floor I recommend using a random pattern for the installation as it makes it look like a wood floor that was finished on site.
