Lots of great furniture, nic nacs and statuary all imported from Asia and with an aged patina. The problem? It all looks old, most of it ain’t. Fauxtiques aren’t my thing. To be fair, they have a lot of beautiful and interesting times. Actually, I love a lot of their pieces. The owner is a cool and helpful guy, but I don’t like the«negotiate anything» philosophy. The price marked is not the price you’ll pay after you joust and haggle. But its a terrific peruse and worth a peek.

Checked this out during the SODO Sidewalk Sale(July 12 – 16, though NW Home & Garden says thru the 18th), and am giving Monkey only three stars FORNOW since we didn’t buy anything there. However, their selection and prices easily take 5 stars. Gorgeous antique and reproduction furniture from China, lots of fun statuary in many sizes(and weights — Lordy!), and lovely oriental accessories, like framed photos, silk purses, and lamps made from abacuses. Prices, in general, were not outrageous($ 1300 for a huge TV armoire) We almost bought a smiling Buddha for the garden(reduced to $ 85 — a steal) but decided to wait and save Hubby the hernia. Really great stuff!
