Willie’s started out as a BBQ restaurant. Soul food was eventually added and after briefly selling fried chicken through another business in the same building, Willie’s decided to add fried chicken to his own menu. Recently, Willie’s has added breakfast to our menu. So, if you are looking for BBQ, Soul Food, Fried Chicken, or Breakfast, look no further because it is all available at Willie’s Taste of Soul!

The History Behind the Taste…

After working nearly 14 years for various local BBQ restaurants in the greater Seattle area, Willie began to get a clear vision of using his knowledge of the restaurant industry to establish his own position in the community. It was on October 1, 1994 that he opened Willie’s Taste of Soul BBQ & Custom Smoke House. Over the past 19 years we have served thousands of repeat customers from our starting location in the Beacon Hill area of Seattle.

We at WTS strive to provide excellent product and customer service, all with a Southern touch. Our succulent ribs, beef, chicken, and homemade hotlinks are all slow smoked right in our own backyard. It is our goal to provide our customers with a meal that is literally hot off the grill. If you smell us cookin’ come on by and enjoy a true dining experience!
