I was excited to find so many fragrant spices here(cumin, cardamom, saffron, ginger, etc.), plus things I can’t find in chain groceries like ghee and good tandoori mix. Haven’t had a chance to try the halal meats yet — I’m saving that for my next visit. Folks in here were happy to help me find what I need in the shop, which I appreciate. They also sell breads from the Seattle Anxuyen Bakery. Oh yes — and grab a box of the Kenyan tea from the spice aisle. It is my new favorite breakfast tea. PS — I think they may have changed their name to «West Seattle Halal Market.» I’ll confirm next time I visit.
