Since 1953, Vision Source Eye Care & Optical has been the leader and preferred provider of quality vision care products and personalized optometric services to our patients in Seattle and the surrounding areas. Our experienced doctors and staff offer comprehensive vision examinations and specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide array of eye diseases, conditions, and problems.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Dr. Homestead is an optometric physician practicing in Seattle Washington, his home town. He graduated from Pacific University College of Optometry in 1980. He served two years in the Indian Health Service in San Carlos, Arizona where he was district optometrist for the Apache tribe. In 1982, he moved back to Seattle to assume the practice of Clarence Lellelid, O. D., who had retired.

Dr. Homestead is active in the Optometric Physicians of Washington, serving on the board of trustees, as president of the local society, and on various committees.

In the community, Dr. Homestead has been on the board of directors for the Fauntleroy YMCA, and on the board of directors for the Chamber of Commerce. He volunteers for the Millionaire’s Club and Lion’s Club vision screenings.

Aside from his practice, Dr. Homestead is the author of AccuFee, a software program created for eye doctors, now the nation’s leading reimbursement software.
