U Bar

This place blew my mind. From the outside they just look like a super divey joint, though let’s be real, it also looks that way on the inside. Yet they serve up some delicious Peruvian foods. Peruvian at a bar?? I know right, well they do and they do it very well. My group tried the rotisserie chicken, which was super tender, and the fried rice, which was perfect whether you were drunk or sober. This is definitely a great late night hit up.

Horrible service, only one server I’ve heard manager is pretty cheap so that’s why the service is so limited. Also food and drinks are overpriced, atmosphere meh honestly go somewhere else

For what this bar is (a dingy, dirty, divey sports bar) it may deserve a higher rater. However, I’ve been known to rate dive bars higher when they’re fun. We walked in to this bar just for a drink during the Clemson v. Alabama game. it was DEAD. Even still, took us a bit to get served.
The only pro? Drinks were CHEAP. $ 5 for a double vodka. However, it didn’t taste very good so that’s probably why.
Liked the idea of upstairs seating overlooking the bar + lots of screens for game day.

I was in Seattle for work, definitely noted this town was not very diverse. I’m black. So … this was probably the closest experience I’ve ever had to what my ancestors no doubt experienced decades ago. I was ignored at this bar until my coworker and I decided to leave. Yeah … it goes there.

I’m going to give this place a 3 star so I can bump their average to at least a 2 star since it really isn’t a bad place to be at all. There might just be too much competition on the Ave, especially if you are competing with Earl’s. We went on a Friday night and the place was completely empty except for our table and a few randoms stopping in at the bar for a quick drink. That was ok, less people means we can comfortably sit forever and forever hanging out without feeling rushed at all. I only ordered a Red Bull since I already ate, but I looked at their happy hour menu and there are a bunch of snack items for only $ 5 so I would so be on that greasy bar food like nobody’s business that if I didn’t ate already.

Terrible service always one server that cannot keep up. Sat for 20 minutes at a dirty table without being greeted and was immediately sent to the bar (still without our table being bussed so we did it ourselves) to order and you could tell the bar tended was also mad at the server for sending her table to him. Tension was felt between them and us since we could tell no one wanted to take us (party of 6 so)
