Oh, where to start…
We came here as part of our savor gourmet tour and left knowing we’d be back the next day for the wine flights. So we did. Two flights to be exact only because the folks who work here know their wine and truffles. The pairings could not have been more amazing, and what’s more, they tailor your wine flights to you!
(Busily typing as she scoops a mouthful of the black truffle sauce w/​mushrooms & olive oil in her mouth) It’s a small store, which makes the truffle fragrance linger in every crevice and you feel like you’ve dabbed truffle butter all over your body when you leave. This place is a real treat, make sure you stop by!

We LOVED our time at the Truffle Café! Stopped in while we were browsing through the downtown market. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They poured us a tasting of several wines for an under $ 10 fee which was great. Also — the best part — you can sample literally EVERYTHING. I know I left with more than I probably intended to just because I could try how flavorful the truffle makes everything. Definitely worth the stop!

Dropped by to try truffles and server (didn’t get his name but should have) asked if we would like to do wine here. We said yes!
The truffles are deliciously scrumptious! The wine was the whisk-​me-​away to the truffles! It was perfectly complimentary to each other. Too bad they don’t serve bread sticks or crackers with the truffles! Otherwise, it’ll be very pleasant to stay here and simply enjoy the decadence of truffles and wine!
Our pourer who was the same as the server that asked us if we wanted to grab wine, was a great conversationalist. He was from the military and shared the wines origin and history. He was friendly and knowledgeable! I couldn’t have asked for a better pourer! I loved the Foxy Roxy red wine and the Workingmen’s red wine! The labels stood out for me and complimented each other! However, the Oregon Pinot Noir 2012 was the winner for me in terms of taste!
I enjoyed my time here admirably and would surely be back to simply be — over the delights of truffles and wine!

If you love truffles (and who doesnt) this shop is a must on a visit to Seattle (if I lived here I’d be here all the time too).
After spending lots of time trying all the goodies, I walked away with truffle salt (makes everything so much better), and porcini and truffle stock cubes — and lots of advice on how to use them. One of my favorite finds in Seattle.

I want one of everything in this store. I shipped two huge boxes home. The wine flight was also delicious, and I really appreciated the recommendations as I worked through the wines.

They had my heart at «self-​serve free samples». What a cool experience the Truffle Café has to offer! They sell a variety of delicious delicacies as well as speciality oils, vinegars, condiments and wine. I didn’t buy anything but only because I had regretfully burned through my spending budget before I got here. I would recommend anyone with a literal taste for adventure to stop in and try out some goodies. The sales associates have a no-​pressure mentality so you can take your time without them on you to buy anything.

My friend and I stopped by for a quick wine tasting and ended up staying for quite a while. David the sommelier has the best stories, and we loved every wine he recommended. Definitely stop by if you have a chance!

Boyfriend and I wandered into the Truffle Café our first day in Seattle while we were exploring Pike’s Place. I LOVE truffle everything and anything so what caught my attention was the smell while we were passing by. What caught my boyfriend’s attention was their board that said, «wine tasting». Ended up stopping by to get off our feet for awhile and try some wine. Little did we know, Kelly Jean would be working and she’d become a Seattle friend!
The first day we were here, Thursday, we ended up staying for at least an hour. Kelly Jean knew so much about wine and she catered to my exact preferences! She was such a cool spirit to meet in Seattle. We really hit it off and just started talking about Washington, California, family, friends, and life in general.
Kelly Jean was so awesome and everything we tried at the Truffle Café was amazing, we ended up coming back the day after when our friends from Vancouver came into town. I’m not even sure how long we ended up staying that time, but we all did the flight wine tasting and then ended it with a bottle of the delicious Lambrusco. I know we were getting so loud and the place isn’t that big, but Kelly Jean and her boss were being really good sports about it all. We were celebrating a promotion for one of our friends after all.
We stopped by Sunday morning when we were getting ready to head back to San Diego to say goodbye to Kelly Jean, but she wasn’t there. :(
Come in and say hi to Kelly Jean! The wines she recommends won’t let you down and all the truffle samples are like being able to actually taste a piece of heaven. She’ll make your visit so much fun and you’ll leave feeling like you’ve made a new life long friend.

Let me start this by saying all of my Seattle reviews are about a month behind, but better late than never!
I found the Truffle Café on a Savor Seattle tour. I had heard of and tried some truffle products in the past but I don’t think I full appreciated they until now. They gave us some potato soup to try and then added some truffle oil for the second spoonful. What an incredible difference it makes! I bought some whit truffle oil and truffle salts, both of which have really changed some of my cooking and allow anyone who gets too close or might put too much on their food get a really dirty look and lecture from me! I love them!
The other thing that this little shop offers is shipping your purchases for you. I may have had too much fun buying gifts for friends and family and it was either getting a second suitcase or shipping, thanks to the Truffle Café the shipping was the easier and cheaper option. I was expecting things to be packed like I would pack them, no they went above and beyond, and truly made sure everything made it to me safely. They also offer insurance on your purchases and will send you more of their incredible truffle products when you run out!

Girlfriend and I walked by this place on our way way through the market and had a great time. Stayed for 2 wine tastings and received amazing service during our 2 hour stay. We ended up purchasing 2 bottles of wine (brand and name skips my mind) and the parmesan spread that paired well with our wines.
Overall, great experience. Definitely would return.

If you’re looking to show employees an example of awesome customer service bring them here. They will fill you up on samples, knowledge & smiles. Try the 10 year Balsamic Vinegar & the Fresh Basil Pesto. I dare you to leave empty-​handed.

If you consider yourself a foodie or wine connoisseur– Truffle Café is a must.

Tastings galore. Truffle heaven.
This store is one of my favorites in pike place market. Owner and staff are so generous with their time and items from the business. If you like their page on fb they offer a 10% off discount.
I like that they have an elaborate selection of oils, caramels sauces, cream sauces, and pastas. The neat treat is the conversations the staff will have with you in recommendations for cooking with the items bought. They always add in a list of diy suggestions to the bag so you can prepare something yummy!

Overpriced products and not honest in how they invite customers to wine tastings without mentioning the price.
The wine tasting wasn’t overpriced, but it feels wrong that a price for the tasting isn’t mentioned until you get to the register to pay for other items.
The oils are good, but you can get larger quantities of truffle oils with similar levels of quality across the street inside the Pike Place Market.
We were told that the Mercer Chardonnay we chose to purchase from a tasting was on sale for $ 23, though we were charged $ 32, and later saw that it’s $ 13 on the Mercer Winery website. We’ll buy direct next time.
Though the staff is friendly, wine tasting was fun, service is great, and the products are high quality, we’ll be buying somewhere else from now on and warning others to do the same.

A truffle lover’s heaven! Been here during both of my Seattle stays, and there is everything imagineable you could want with truffle. Truffle pesto, truffle salt, black truffles, etc! The workers here are extremely friendly and they promote that they will ship back items from other stores along with theirs to your home! Top quality items and service here!

This place is a must-​stop if you’re in Pike Place Market. I was introduced to it on a food tour in May and was really surprised with what they had to offer.
Typically, you are pulled in off the street by someone giving out free samples. Once they hook you, you step into their store and you are free to sample a number of their products, including balsamic vinegar, truffle salt, truffle oils, and sweets. Their truffle products are really top notch. I’ve tried both their black and white truffle oils, including one in a potato soup. Man were they good. Their salt also has a really good truffle flavor. Despite their great truffle products, what got me good was their salted bourbon caramel sauce! WOW. I’ve put it on cheesecakes, ice cream cakes, and other items since then and man it does not disappoint! In addition to the caramel sauce, they also sell lemon curd, apple curd, and other sweets (which again, you can sample).
The people who work here are fantastic. The owner is really enthusiastic about her business and it shows. She will also give you tons of tips on how to use her products to make okay food taste great, WITHOUT having to spend hours in the kitchen. Yay to being a lazy cook! Finally, if you’re from out of town, they can ship their products to you, which is nice.
My only complaint would be that some of the prices seem really high to me, particularly their sweets. A small bottle of their caramel sauce cost me about $ 15. Their wine tastings also seem pretty expensive to me as well (3 tastes for $ 10). Luckily, when I went she had a really interesting wine from South America for $ 7 a bottle (which she let me sample for free before we bought a couple of bottles).
In sum, great products and kind of expensive, but a must-​stop!

Small store at Pike Market with an assortment of truffle goods, plus wine! My favorite and recommendation would be their White Truffle Oil, White Truffle Cream, and Truffle Salt, get it! The store offers plenty of samples, so enjoy some treats before your purchase.
Insider Tip:
Buy a cup of Beecher’s Mac and Cheese next door and bring it over to Truffle café to do some Truffle tasting for FREE! I would recommend doing the wine tasting ($ 9-​Trio of 3), while eating your Truffle topped Mac n Cheese. The best of both world!!!
Their workers are all very knowledgeable. I love the owner; her enthusiastic energy towards truffle and food in general is amazing. A lot of the little tours come through here, so make sure to grab your 10% coupon when offered.
Besides, Truffle and Wine, they also offer sweet natural spreads. My recommendation: Pistachio cream ($ 16). On another note, You might not see the actual truffle on display, but they do sell truffle on their own. I would recommend ordering ahead of time because most of the truffle is sold before they arrive at the Truffle Café.
If you’re a foodie and love the elegance of life, come in and grab some Truffle goods. You won’t regret it!
Tip:
White Truffle Cream: Since Truffle Cream expires within a week or so after being opened, store the cream in a freezer (air tight container) to extend the freshness. You can cut up the pieces and have them packed separately as well, but make sure it’s air tight in the freezer for convenience.

Okay, who knew we’d find a grand time wine tasting in the middle of Pike Place at a shop selling truffle oils and sauces. We were being tourists in the area and decided to do a wine tasting. 3 pours for $ 9/​person. Fair deal. We had the most amazing host and hostess. We sampled way more than we were supposed to and found several wines I wish I had room in my luggage for. They have an amazing port fortified with brandy. And then when we were slightly tipsy and giggly, she brings out heaven in a bottle. Chocolate dessert wine… soo irresistible!
I wish I could remember our hostess’s name to give her a shout out. Her boyfriend is a chef and she doesn’t like pike place chowder. She was amazingly sweet and helpful. Hopefully she reads this and knows who she is!
What a great selection of wines! They can also ship to you, but no online orders for wine (so sad!)
Oh and they also have a great variety of truffle based items, which are available for sampling. One day when I learn how to cook with truffle oil, I’ll need to get some of their products into my pantry.

Small shop, but there is a lot to taste and choose from: sweet and savory, truffle and not.
The white truffle spread and black truffle spreads were amazing. Oh, and try the pistachio butter– why have I never known about this before?! Delectable!
You can taste just about anything. The owner is very warm and friendly. She gets French black truffles in pretty regularly too. They have wine and food items. I must admit, for such a small spot, they really do an amazing job making their shop comfortable and homey.
Will definitely return back next time I visit Seattle. May even order online!
