We had a good dinner here. Staff was fine, food was great. Nice to escape the market, feed the kids before we make the hike up to the space needle. Prob won’t visit again, but no regrets swinging in for our quick stop.

Great views of the market and an easy escape from the madness of eating somewhere in the market, but the food/service was super disappointing. DON’T wait for the paella! It was lukewarm and not tasty at all. I think they just tell you it’ll take 30 minutes so you will feel like it’s legit, but it’s absolutely not. Just drink here!

This place is a hidden gem! We were sitting on the balcony, sipping on our sangria, and snacking on appetizer! It’s a great place to watching sunset, and/or date night! Both drink and food were great! The waitress is super friendly! We will definitely come back for dinner!

She sat me at balcony, just wanted a beer, said must order lunch. Said ok and started to leave. She changed mind told me to sit. Ok cool, didn’t plan to hang out long maybe 20 minutes. Asked for bill, signed and was ready for the last shwig of my beer. With lightening speed, she swiped the bottle and ran off. Oh wow.

Food was not very good and not worth the price. The only thing keeping them in business is the location. Dont recommend you coming here unless u want mediocre overpriced ceviche.

The view and setting are beautiful. But that’s about as good as it gets. We had to wait 10 minutes to be seated(many open seats, just no wait staff), go inside to ask to place an order, go inside again to ask for a bill, then go inside again to ask them to take our credit card. The view is the what made this $ 10 glass of wine.

Honestly, this place was great. We were visiting from Southern California and the food was tasty and filling. A bit pricey but worth it because of the view and our server was such a wonderful lady and made sure we had what we needed. It wasn’t busy when we went but the weather was beautiful. It was our last meal on our last day in Seattle and it was perfect!

We waited for 20min for someone who couldn’t speak English to take our order. That was after 15min at the door with no greeting. We eventually seated ourselves. We ordered 9.00 drinks and decided to split an order of their house special which is very good Pialla or something. Used to be good 5 – 6 yes ago. They split the food but charged me full price and refused to change it. I told them that we wouldn’t be back. We never split orders but decided since we waited for so long to place an order it was ok. Food is ok. Service is terrible. Avoid.

There are restaurants you to go once, and there are restaurants that bring you back again and again — Copacabana is on my repeat list. Why? Paella. Their paella is unique, hearty, and tasty and I get a craving for it every so often. Why else? Consistency. Some reviews say nothing has changed for a long time, and I actually find that comforting. Ingredients are fresh, salads as I remember them, flavors are spot on. Finally, the location, perched on a balcony over the bustle of the Pike Place Market makes for a one of a kind Seattle experience best enjoyed on a glorious sunny summer day. Have a cocktail and enjoy.

I’m giving this place such a low rating primarily based on their customer service. They have a GREAT location especially in the summer in terms of wanting to have a drink on the balcony and wanting to people watch. However, they aren’t very aware when a customer walks in. What really struck me was when my friend wanted to order nachos and have chicken added and it was just the end of the world. My friend finally asked you really just can’t add chicken on nachos. And after much deliberation she said she would go ask. Soon thereafter she walked three tables down and was talking to her coworkers and then came back and said she could… Unreal.

+ THEVIEW — 5 stars is for the amazing location, sit outside on their deck and look over the Pike’s Place Market sign at the water + Sangria — yummy authentic sangria +/-Stewed meat — beef or lamb, served with black beans, steamed rice, and salad I would recommend to anyone visiting Seattle to grab drinks and share a meal overlooking the beautiful bay. Especially spectacular towards the end of the day. You aren’t going to have life-changing food, which is a sacrifice to make in a food mecca, but the food is nevertheless tasty, the drinks are strong, and once again, I can’t emphasize enough, the view is breathtaking. I would not come to be seated indoors, it’s an all-or-nothing, sit outside or don’t come at all. Having a late lunch at Copacabana was a highlight of our weekend in Seattle.

5 star view, 3 star food. A bit pricey for what you get, but if you consider the location it is probably about right. Had the entire outside patio with amazing Market and Sound views to ourself on a Tuesday night, my paella was tasty enough, as was my pisco sour, I would go again!

The sangria is good! Hence our stop here as locals, however, I am sad to say I am so very dissapointed. I am about to be very truthful with my experience, so please understand it might appear harsh, but it is exactly as it went down. Today my fiancé and I dropped by, walked in the main entrance and was not greeted by what appears to be the manager and a hostess. Instead, they continued to hold a conversation about what their plans were for later. We stood there after greeting them and still they continued to ignore us. So we saw a waitress at the other end of the restaurant talking to 3 other servers(keep in mind they are about halfway full of customers). Upon approaching them, they looked at us, and one of the group walked up and asked if we needed to be seated. Thankfully we finally found someone who didn’t appear too busy to do their actual job. Thanks to her we were able to find a seat. Then, once seated, we sat talking over the menu and enjoying conversation — which is fine until you realize you’ve been seated for 15 minutes and haven’t seen a single server or employee the entire time. Even the people next to us appeared frustrated with the lack of attention. We finally went in to «put in an order» to the group of now 5 standing inside and talking. They apologised for skipping us and quickly got our order out to the table, but the lady serving us(who I believe was the one in charge) had a disgusted attitude and even spilled the drink on the table. I don’t expect 5 star dining at this restaurant, just a little bit of care. I mean, I am spending time and money here, it’s just disappointing. Sangria is good though. Edit: service got a lot better after we said something. Worth the sangria visit.

After a quick shopping session and making our way through the hordes of summer tourists, my brother and i decided to grab a late lunch. We ended up strolling along post alley directly across from the market. We decided to climb the stairs to the café. We were pleasantly surprised to find an available table overlooking the market and with views of the sound. It was nice to eat outside with a breeze and an umbrella. I had a fabulous mojito that really hit the spot. Service was lightening fast. I ordered a potato with peanut sauce dish. Prices were reasonable even for the touristy area of pike place market. I would definitely return even if it was just for another mojito.

I have been to Copacabana a couple times now and I like it. It’s a lovely lunch respite from a grey office building. Their service isn’t anything to write home about, but I love their patio(filled with colorful umbrellas, with a view over Pikes Place!) and their food has been great both times! I don’t know a ton about Bolivian food, so I can’t say if it’s accurate, but I do think their dishes are tasty! Last time I went, I had the steak salad and it was delicious. Their bread that comes out first is nothing special though.

This place is hella random. I’ve walked by it at least 101 times, but never looked up from the street. It’s the second floor balcony with alllll the umbrellas, in case you’re wondering. Review is only for drinks, as it was a hot summer evening. They’ve got everything from daiquiris to pina coladas, to pisco sours here. Perch yourself on the outdoor patio with one of these, and it almost feels like you’re on vacation.

We were looking for food in Pike Place and had already been to the famous stores as it was our fourth stop at the market in four days so we chose randomly and came here since the balcony seating had a great view of the market for people watching. While the view is great, the food is nothing to write home about. I ordered a fish dish that came with rice. The actual fish itself was cooked very well and made up for the lack of flavor in the fish as a whole. There was a sauce but the sauce seem so watered down that you only got bare hints of the flavor and was otherwise more on the bland side. Luckily the fish itself was fantastic or I would’ve been quite sad.

Stopped by for breakfast after the Seahawks game. Great atmosphere, sitting over the market and people watching. The breakfast was very good and affordable. Plus the Irish coffee was strong. We will definitely be back for breakfast next time we stay here!

Copacabana gets three stars just for the location and the really unique balcony overlooking Pike Place Market. Other than that, there is nothing too amazing about this place. They have some tasty, refreshing drinks, but they are on the expensive end. They also serve several beers, including your typical Mexican imports. In my opinion, go to Copacana on a nice day, just order a few drinks, and watch all of the people down below in Pike Place Market.
