History

Established in 1998.

Founded in 1998 as Sláinte Productions as a local lighting designer in eastern Washington State. The first design was for Peter Pan at Wenatchee High School in Wenatchee, Washington.

After moving to Dublin, Ireland in 2000 founding director Sean P. Begley renamed the company Travelling Buddha Productions/​Sláinte Productions International. while in Ireland Sean worked for various companies including Rattlebag Theatre and the Crypt Arts Centre. All culminating in Travelling Buddha’s production of MacBeth which ran for two weeks at the Crypt Arts Centre in August of 2002.

Since returning to Seattle after the success of MacBeth TBP has expanded it’s production gallery to provide consultation and Project Management, all while maintaining strong ties to the theatre.

Expanding to include Event Production in 2009, TBP has developed a relationship with Mobile Stage Rentals to be the Northwest broker and operator of their Stageline line of mobile stages
