Specialties

Whether it be funny, cute, romantic, or beautiful, I’m always trying to tell a story. My style is a blend of candid with a little bit of tradition, so that everyone in the family is happy. I really enjoy catching precious, fleeting moments that happen naturally, however, I am not opposed to staging photos. In fact, usually the staged photos end up causing natural reactions. It’s all a part of my master plan!

It’s my job to make you shine! I’ll walk you through the entire process from consultation to the moment I hand over the goods. No need to worry, because I’m here to make sure you enjoy your experience and walk away with gorgeous photographs that will last a life time. I will be capturing your story, and you will be investing in your memories!

History

Established in 2008.

It started off as a hobby, as it does for many photographers. I was mostly obsessed with landscapes and nature photography, but my interest grew to other subjects. I couldn’t stop thinking about photography, so I figured I wouldn’t be happy doing anything else. I began by assisting some photographers at weddings and offering free portraits to my friends. Then people started asking me to photograph their weddings, and it has blossomed from there!

Meet the Business Owner

Tracie H.

Business Owner

I grew up in VA with my mom, and I visited my dad every summer in WA. I fell in love with Seattle and the surrounding area, so I decided to attend college in the great Northwest. I studied Art in Bellingham, and had a blast.

I became restless in the small town and wanted to travel. So, somehow, I found myself working on a cruise ship as youth staff. I spent that summer going back and forth from Seattle to Alaska. I wanted to see where else I could go, and from there I ended up working on ships all over the world. It was an amazing opportunity that only fueled my interest in photography. Between contracts I tried to travel on my own, and by the end, I had seen every continent!

It was hard to settle back into a «normal» life, where I had to stay somewhere for an extended period of time. I think my passion for photography is the only thing that got me through that long transition period. It gave me something to look forward to. Now, I still dream of travel, but I’m happy to be home.
