Top Dog Daycare & Kennel-Free Boarding

Darren has taken our dogs for day care and for overnight stays. Our dogs always come back tired and happy. We’re thankful to have an easy-​going, nice person to take care of our pups so close by!

Our lab comes home exhausted after a day with Darren. Darren comes and picks her up, she has a ton of fun, and then is dropped off and waiting for me when I get home from work. What could be better?
He is also our go to guy for watching her when we are gone. She comes home so happy that I don’t feel bad leaving her while I go on a trip. I definitely recommend Darren and his services.

Darren is great! We had our puppy Keith stay with him for 10 nights while we were on our honeymoon. Keith came back more well-​trained than when we left him! We are going on a vacation again at the end of the year and Keith will be staying with Darren again. I highly recommend Top Dog!

This guy is a complete flake. I hired him to take care of my dogs during my daughter’s 4^th birthday party knowing how stressful it would be for them. We spoke on the phone and exchanged emails, agreeing on the day, time and price. The day of the party he never showed and never answered his cell phone. He later left me a completely unapologetic voice mail saying it was MY FAULT he flaked because I didn’t remind him the day before. I had it IN WRITING when he would show, but apparently he is so disorganized you need to micro-​manage him or he’ll simply forget. His complete lack of accountability is obvious and makes me wonder if he always takes such a cavalier attitude when he actually picks up the dogs and supposedly «cares» for them.

I will have to agree with Jill T — he was great when I called him the 1^st time. Then when we would like to tour & meet him, he doesn’t seem to want to commit. Always give excuses. Same deal — not returning our calls too. He may be great in 2009 — but he doesn’t need anymore business, I guess. Seems like a JERK to us… I won’t trust our dog to that kind of guy.

When the owner can’t even return a phone call or email about boarding, how can this not make me give him a 1 star? Poor customer service. I’m taking my business elsewhere.

Darren took care of our dog Izo over Thanksgiving week. When we picked him up, he was dirty, happy, and tired as hell. Which I imagine is Izo’s dream state.
We’ll definitely use Darren again next time we need to go out of town!
