Three Graces

This review is for Sherry, who replaced Graeme last March.
She is a real gem. She’s one of the best hairdresser I have ever had — her services are really high end for a reasonable price. She is creative and listens to what you want but more importantly she actually *does* what you want. I have really fine hair and she deals with that perfectly. And as a bonus, she’s sweet and cheerful so you’re sure to have a nice, relaxing time too!

Sherry Grajek was amazing. I was nervous to try her out after Graham left but I was beyond pleased. I always walk out with color and cut better then my expectations. I will continue to let her be my stylist and refer her to anyone in Seattle.

Sherry Grajek gave me the hair of my DREAMS!!! She gave me the most gorgeous, beautiful, soft, shiny hair– the kind that flows and makes you feel like a supermodel. I literally cried. I have hated my frizzy, mousy, poufy hair my entire life. I put it in a bun or a ponytail and hoped that would look passable. After 1 visit to Sherry, I walked out with glistening highlights, soft waves and hair that felt like silk. I cried, it was that amazing! I get compliments all the time now! Sherry showed me how to use a few tools, and BAM!, I can get my hair to look as fantastic everyday as when I have just left the salon. She is incredibly kind and friendly, and really listens to what you want. I’ve been seeing her for several months now, and I can happily say I have met my hair guru. She’s INCREDIBLE!!! I’d absolutely recommend her to anyone.

She has been my stylist for three years now. I first met her in Port Orchard.
My hair is thick., coarse, wavy, and has a mind of it’ s own. But Sherry consistently tames it to perfection. She also does color and highlights on me as well as the perfect layering.
I seriously get compliments on my hair on a daily basis, from both women and men of all ages.
I am in the public eye all day, every day and it feels good to look my best, and it is easy with the way Sherry makes me look. Most days I feel I don’t even have to try, it just happens.
She is just awesome and a sweetheart. I hope she never leaves me.

I just had my hair done by Graeme and he’s great! He didn’t try to upsell me or do anything I wasn’t asking for and he was pleasant and obviously knows hair. It’s my first time so I’ll be brief, but he’s super nice (as is everyone I met in the salon) and I’ll be going back for sure! My hair looks great!

Safe bet for Blondes! I bought the groupon and was a little nervous about trying someone new as I’m fairly particular about my blonde :) Graeme did an amazing job, I love the cut, color and immediately felt comfortable in his salon. He listened to what I wanted & also incorporated his years of experience and expertise. I will be going back and would recommend him to friends and family. Added bonus… great music playing the whole time!

Great location. Great, open space.
But the best part is «Hair by Graeme». Best haircut I’ve ever had. And I need them every two to three months so I’ve had a lot!
Graeme Welsh is by far the best stylist I’ve ever seen. Also, he knows a lot of people and could probably get you a valuable connection!

Graeme did my hair and I am thrilled with it. He is efficient and a great conversationalist as well as a phenomenal hair dresser. I had a cut, partial foil and conditioning treatment. I didn’t know how I wanted it cut, but he extracted information out of me to do it just perfectly. The color was perfect and subtle enough that I won’t have to run in and get it redone as soon as it starts to grow. I appreciate that he didn’t make me feel guilty about the fact that it had been several months since I had taken the time to have it done. He gave great advice about how to keep it looking nice which is great since it is kind of difficult hair. He respected my wishes for something low maintenance and I am one happy customer. I highly recommend him.

Graeme did my hair and it still looks marvelous! You can tell that he has many years of experience, he knew exactly what I wanted and needed. I came out with a beautiful bright blonde foil & perfect layers which 3 out of 4 stylists can just not seem to do. He was quick, I was out of there in a little over an hour. He didn’t try to upsell me on a bunch of product and I really enjoyed his company. I look forward to getting my hair did again! Psst… sometimes he uses groupon, it is a fantastic bargain!

called about an ombré

I bought an item at our school auction this spring that’s good for ½ off services for a full year. I didn’t have to know anything about the salon to know that I wanted to check it out! The number on the certificate actually ended up being the stylist’s cell phone or something, but after the initial awkward «WHO are you now“s, we set up an appointment for the next week.
The salon itself isn’t very noticeable from the street – it’s right on 65^th where lots of other businesses are, but since it’s in a house you probably wouldn’t know what it was. In fact, walked up the steps I was debating about whether I should ring a doorbell or not. But you walk in and, despite the cute living-​room style waiting room, it’s all set up like a real salon with stations and all that.
Graem was the guy who offered the services for the discount, so we chatted about I wanted – highlights for the upcoming nuptials, so there was a big debate about how drastic to go. We decided to go very subtle to start out with, and he went to work. I got the scoop on the business – it’s been there somewhere around 15 years and is owned by a woman who not only is a stylist but also paints all of the art that’s on the wall. Sounds like a talented bunch!
Well, most salons I’ve ever been to you can pretty much bet on sitting in the chair for an hour + while they do foils, but he zipped through in about 30 minutes (barely enough time to finish my US Weekly!).
My coloring turned out nicely – maybe TOO subtle, but I’m already scheduled to go back anyway for a touch-​up before the wedding. I’ll probably get a little more Va-​Voom then, but until then I’m totally rocking the ‘chestnut undertones.‘
Bottom line: You should come here, even if you don’t get ½ off!

I’m surprised this place doesn’t have any reviews yet. I come here to get my hair colored by Graem Welsh, and he’s super amazing. He works at a very efficient pace, the salon is very clean and welcoming and has a «homey» feel, and the prices are much more reasonable than the fancy pants chain salons out there. This is not the place to come if you’re looking for that «salon» pampering experience of getting a bathrobe, a latte, and a DJ booth. This is a more personal and intimate salon, and I haven’t ever been here when there has been more than one or two other clients on site, which goes to show the type of personal attention you’re getting.
