History

Established in 2011.

The Barbeque Pit Seattle was built in 1927. It was started as a Model T garage. In the 1950’s it was converted into a restaurant. It has been various Barbeque restaurants through out the years. The place serves as being a monument to the Central District. It has been patronized by many celebrities of the Central District and Seattle and beyond — Jimi Hendrix, Quincy Jones, Kenny G and Bruce Lee to name a few. The establishment is now trying to express its historical nature and serve again as a neighborhood monument. The Best Barbeque in Seattle is here!
