Everything is just eh here. The delivery was quick and the people are nice but I’ve eaten here a few times ordering chicken adobo, katsu and the bbq combo plate and I wasn’t impressed. Meat tends to be overcooked

I placed the order through Unilocal eat 24. I was surprise how fast the delivery was, compare to the other delivery option on Unilocal24. The food was still hot when it arrived!

This place messed up half of our order. Very disappointed especially since there are tons of types of foods I can’t eat.

Ok, so, I have to admit I am kind of a Hawaiian food snob but I am enjoying a day off so I said what the heck I’ll place an order. I called for delivery and there is an extra charge when they have to drive it and I said it’s ok. I ordered Lau Lau, The teriyaki chicken breast, and manapua and loco moco and some desert and juice!!! The teriyaki was too sweet and honestly the quality of the chicken was too fatty. The box they put it in was saggy with juices so that wouldn’t be a choice for me again. The Lau Lau my partner will eat and I loved the loco moco but the only issue was the dry meat. The manapua was fucking drrrrrrry, but I love those little balls of pork and dough so I soaked them. The poi taste like 5 days old but no hate here!!! Honestly this place seems like it just needs some fresh air breathed into the food! Delivery could use some personality at drop off but that’s ok!

I used Eat24 on one of my lazy days to get some delivery from here. The first thing that really bugged me was the fact that the delivery man walked from the store to our place. We aren’t too far in distance, but definitely far enough that my food was not hot when it got to me. The calamari was good, but was lacking in amount. Either way I still killed it and the sauce was delicious! I also got the salmon teriyaki. When I first got the food it was not what I was expecting. The salmon was fried. I’d prefer it grilled with teriyaki, but I ate it anyways and enjoyed it very much. My gf ordered the shrimp curry and that was good as well, if you’re not into spicy food then don’t order this. It should be common knowledge by now that curry, no matter where you get it, is going to be a bit spicy. At the end of the day, I would eat North Shore again, but I think I’d opt to eat at the restaurant rather than have the delivery option.

Ordered the grilled salmon and it was terrible. Overcooked and had a breading on it, not what I think of when I order grilled salmon. The macaroni salad wasn’t great either. A waste of $ 14.

I WILLNOT be ordering from here again after being a loyal customer for over 6 years. I recently had a baby and i was craving so badly hawaiian food. I got the Kalua and cabbage combo with chicken long rice poi, lomi salmon mac salad and haupia. The kalua was super salty, the mac salad was HOT from sitting next to my food, The chicken in the soup was super dry, the lomi salmon was OK besides the tomatoes tasted like they were bad. the POI was a NEON purple color and i didnt touch it, as it looked radioactive. The haupia had a rubber like consistency. Heres the kicker, something i ate made me sick an hour later. This was about the 5th order that i wasted money on. I hope whoever is cooking is notified so they can make some changes if not i dont see this place being around much longer.

Meh… I grew up in Hawaii so I’m a bit of a stickler but I feel like this still gets a, meh. The bbq chicken was good with lots of ginger flavor. The Kahula pork was pretty good but nothing to write home about. The rice was not good. It was way too moist and not at all sticky. The Mac Salad was also on the mediocre side and the side was super tiny. Plate lunch, musubi, and beer, $ 21… The people were super nice though!

The food was awful I couldn’t eat more than a few bites. The restaurant itself is very disheveled and gross looking. Wishing I had followed my instincts and walked right out.

I had never had Hawaiian food, so I was pleasantly surprised with my Huli Huli chicken(soy sauce, teriyaki, ketchup, other goodness). It was sweet and juicy – I really enjoyed it! My friend got one of their teas and liked it. I think it’s a renovated gas station. Nothing fancy. But the food is good!

The restaurant is located in what seems to be a former drive through. There are lines all over the ground and it is kind of confusing to park. The inside of the restaurant is a little outdated and rundown, but that usually doesn’t bother me. The FOOD… The food is unremarkable compared to all the other Hawaiian restaurants in the area. I’ve had the katsu and mochiko chicken. I’ve had more flavorful katsu at phở places. The mochiko chicken was too fatty and the chunks of chicken were a really odd, large size. The sauce for the mochiko chicken was really disappointing and not the BBQ sauce that I’m used to.

If you are craving for Hawaiian food, this is not a bad choice for the reasonable price! I ordered by delivery and they came pretty fast and everything is still hot and fresh! We will definitely go again!

We have been here a couple times, and have not been disappointed. This is a nice family owned business, and we like it as it is close to Seattle U where my wife goes to school. We stopped in both times after she got off school, and both times have been good. She had the bbq combo with short ribs, fried shrimp, and mahi mahi which was pretty good, and I had the katsu curry on rice which was good, but not great. Overall the staff is nice, and atmosphere is laid back and relaxing which we like.

I ate here about 5 years ago and liked it, for the most part. It was not remarkable, then, so that must mean it was worthy by some definition. Not so tonight. I ordered the Katsu Curry plate lunch with a Spam musubi. The musubi was okay. The rice was not seasoned nor was there any of the yummy sauce, typically a variation of Hoisin, found sandwiched between Spam and rice. If that was all I ordered I would have been happy. Not so. Curry comes out, looking good. Chunks of potato and carrot, lots of thick steaming sauce, sliced golden brown deep fried pork(??) cutlet, two scoops white rice, one of mac salad. Looks Good! Not so. First, and worst of all, my pork tasted like chicken and not the good pieces — the old fatty pieces. The sauce had a hint of curry flavor and tasted watered down. The carrots tasted like phở. The potatoes were too sweet for not sweet potatoes. Luckily there was plenty of Rooster Sauce(that smelled old and … doctored?) and shoyu. I could not finish the food. Very rare occurrence. The service was decent. The food was hot. So, let’s talk about the décor a minute. WTF. Enough said. Note: Every time I go to a a teriyaki joint — this might as well be a teriyaki joint — and they have katsu curry on the menu(or curry, in general) I am compelled to order it. Maybe you’ve noticed. At any rate, I consider myself a bit of a curry connoisseur. Almost an expert. I know there is a difference between Indian curries, Thai curries, and Japanese curries. Curries found in teri joints or ramen houses will invariably be of the Japanese variety unless the proprietor is of Southeast Asian descent, then be prepared for a thinned out Thai style(generally, massaman curry w/coconut milk.) Yesterday I went to a fairly well known sushi spot in Georgetown and ordered their beef curry — their version was basically hamburger curry gravy. While slightly disappointed, it WAS tasty.

STAYAWAY, ANDDONOTGETDELIVERY. I logged into GrubHub and ordered from there. We got calamari, burger and fries, and chicken lumpia. Nothing we ordered was good, I dont have a single good thing to say. Not only was it poor quality but the food was cold. Very disappointing.

It’s cheap! A family of five can eat for under $ 50, and a worthwhile change if you’re looking for something different(e.g. spam dishes). But most of what you’ll get is soggy rice. Order anything with spam in it(e.g. musubi, on the side). Don’t get the seafood platter — it’s tasteless.

Ordered burger, fries & vanilla shake for the lil one, they loved all! Not the easiest thing to order for delivery! Fries were crunchy, burger and shake perfect! Did not care to much for the BBQCHICKEN the texture of chicken was weird, but will certainly stick with North Shore BBQ whenever we need burgers, shakes and fries delivered.

Since this was my first time here I tried to order as much as I could and, of course totally ended up over stuffing myself with all the delicious food. Started off my dinner with the deep fried prawn appetizer which was pretty good but nothing spectacular. It’s hard to do anything original with deep fried prawns and I wasn’t expecting anything less than I got. Prawns are always a good way to start a meal. My main course was the Hawaiian BBQ Mix which includes BBQ chicken, beef, Kalbi short ribs, two scoops of white rice, and a side of mac salad. Everything was perfectly prepared and full of deliciousness in every bite. While the flavors of the meats weren’t real distinctive, I always like to have a variety over just getting one thing so this was a great way to go. The mac salad was also really good and apparently is one of their must have, signature items. At this point I was so full I could barely move which was fine because sitting in the outdoor seating area gives you no reason to want to go anywhere especially on a really nice day. Even so, I just had to have a Hawaiian Shave Ice because… I had to. And yes, it was delicious. The staff here was friendly, attentive, and very courteous. it would be nice to see the place organized a little better but, at the same time, the random clutter here and there actually adds to the lived in charm of the place. I will definitely be back to try more items off the menu although I’m sure there will also be many visits just for the Shave Ice.

MEH. I wish their menu was better described… or had pictures… something. I stopped in because it was literally the only«non-scary looking» place in that area I figured it would be OK to eat at. Plus, it had a small parking lot. Not a bad joint… but there were a couple flies swarming my table. Eek. Ordered the spicy chicken lunch plate and opted for a green salad vs. the mac. Little did I know that the spicy chicken was fried… wasn’t expecting that nor did I want it. Slightly disappointed. Plate looked nice however. Nice fresh green salad and rice… well, is rice. There was extra spicy sauce for my chicken so I dumped it all over. The chicken itself I could barely eat. It was all fatty dark meat and just did not settle well. I ate my rice and salad at least. I feel I could have made out better by ordering something else, but oh well. Staff is very nice and friendly here. Just don’t use the women’s bathroom. The light didn’t work.
