Not bad place for lunch when you want fresh sushi. There are many options, everything is made fresh, service is fast and friendly, and pricing is not bad. I’ve had every type of salmon and salmon roll and all have been good.

«Sushi Kudasai» means«Sushi Please» and I cannot agree more whenever I go to Seattle and see their sign. This is a great eatery to go to if you want quick, delicious cold sushi for a simple and low price(under $ 10). The fish is all sushi-grade and is always chilled to a nice temperature, and the rolls despite how fast they are made are always pretty and appealing just as if you were sitting down to eat at a «real» sushi restaurant. There is something for everyone, even the person who may be squeamish about sushi as they have rolls with imitation crab instead of raw fish. The miso soup is also delicious and simple. The rice for the rolls is NEVER crunchy and is always cooked/steamed well. My favorite roll at Sushi Kudasai is their philly roll which is cream cheese, avocado, cucumber and salmon. It is filling, tasty and perfectly balanced in proportion. I would eat here every week if I lived in Seattle.

I was in Seattle on business. I got the Las Vegas rolls and some avocado rolls. They were so fresh and delicious. The price was very reasonable for the high quality ingredients and presentation. I’d definately eat here again.

If you’re looking for gourmet omakase, this is not it. But if you’re looking for a quick, fresh lunch, Sushi Kudasai is on point. Kudasai is one of the few eateries in the downtown Seattle area that really knows how to handle the lunch crowd. Granted, I typically take an early lunch(around 11:30AM), but each time, I’m in there for no more than 10ish minutes. Their lunch combos are so convenient, especially for an indecisive diner like me. I tend to rotate between a few go-tos: Combo C or Unagi Rolls — yum! Prices are also on par to what I usually see in the area, which is typically upwards of $ 10. I typically take my lunch to-go, and they provide you everything from chopsticks and soy sauce packets to a little soy sauce cup. But they also have some seating if you want to eat there. I would say that the aspect that keeps me coming back is not necessarily that it’s amazing sushi(it does taste good, though!), but that it’s convenient. :)

As a tenant in the building, Sushi Kudashi offers one of the healthier, fast, good tasting lunch spots in DT Seattle. Though be warned, that the price is definitely reflective of its location. I’ve stopped by here many times for lunch and sad to say, for OT dinner, to satisfy my seared salmon and tofu pocket cravings. However, lately, I’m not a fan of Sushi Kudashi for the following two reasons. ONE: consistent closing hours, the signs cannot be relied on and many times, we’ve had to turn to Jimmy John’s across the hallway for a desparate OT dinner because Sushi Kudashi closed much earlier than their posted hours. TWO: and this bothers me the most, inconsistent pricing. I’ve been charged multiple amounts for the same order. They’ve charged for spicy mayo if I ask for it before paying, but free if asked after payment. And just today, I was charged an extra 25 cents for each seared salmon piece I ordered… this was never the case and SERIOUSLY? An extra 25 cents each piece for you to turn on the torch for 10 seconds, I just don’t understand. With the already high price and now, what I consider hidden fees, I am starting to look elsewhere for a quick sushi fix.

Food was great. Service was great. Atmosphere was great. We ordered several dishes and each was better than the last. The fish was very fresh and the color was as expected. Definitely will be coming back next time we are in town.

Not the best sushi I’ve had. The sushi fell apart easily and the California roll was a bit too mushy in texture. They serve hot green tea for free, and the service was fast and attentive.

One of my coworkers recommended this place for lunch and boy am I glad I discovered it! There may be a long line but you wait max 3 minutes and you get your food within 5 minutes every time. I love their options and their price is much lower than other sushi spots downtown. Great flavors and their staff is very friendly and speedy! I come here at least once a week. Definitely will be back and highly recommend to others.

GREAT experience. I had a spicy tuna and some manner of veggie roll. The construction was a little sloppy but the taste– ohhhhhh fantastic. I haven’t had better sushi rice anywhere. Great first meal on this trip to Seattle! Update– looks like I caught lightning in a bottle that first visit. Second was in a busier period with more staff but the food was worse. Rolls quite sloppy and I’d not had chosen a return visit. Not incompetent, just not great.

Come here if you work in the area, it won’t break the bank and it will suffice for your sushi fix! Don’t come here if you are on a mission to eat sushi, or you have a date, or you want to try sushi for the first time: it’s just not that kind of place. Three stars. It was average, here is why: It caters to those who work in the area like a fellow Unilocaled mentioned. They are fast, polite, and serve decent sushi for the price you pay. The presentation is decent, and the pieces stayed together, however being that i grew up using the sticks it takes a lot for sushi to fall apart in my grasp. They actually give pretty generous portions for their nigiri. My albacore piece was very large, and a little thick. I’m not complaining, although purists might say it wasn’t thin enough. Personally, I came here to get full and knock my stomach craving back so I can concentrate at work, this place did just that.

Had a quick lunch there and it surely meets the need. Clean, fast and tasty. A huge variety of options and quick to hand it over. Even when there is a long line there is usually seats if you want one. It’s not fancy but it’s good.

Bleck. Not sure if I came here on the wrong day or not, but I ordered tuna over rice and all the tuna was very slim and dry and turning a little white. I knew I should have been wary of a food court sushi spot, but I was new to working in the area and the craving for fast sushi hit me so hard I had no other option(until I discovered Urban Sushi Kitchen). The rolls might be a safer bet if you’re craving some seaweed and rice covered goodness and the cooked dishes might be fine. Otherwise, I’d stay away from the sashimi. Raw fish is something I don’t want to mess with!

This is not a destination sushi joint. It is located in a building with business offices, retail shops, and other lunch spots, so it generally caters to those working in the building. This means that the service is fast and efficient. Most times there is a slow and steady stream of customers, so the wait times are bearable and the atmosphere is calm. There were instances where I was cutting close to the end of my work lunch, and the employees were happy to bump up my order. Not only are they accommodating, they’re super nice and say hello and goodbye in unison every time! The food is decent. Obviously if I wanted something to rave about I would make the trip to Japonessa. But for a quick bite during a work day, it takes care of my sushi cravings. I like the zen delite combo, the udon combo, their shrimp tempura roll, and their miso is pretty good as well. I agree with a fellow Unilocaler, that this place is essentially a «fast food» version of sushi.

Sushi kudasai is horrible. How it has so many stars I have no idea. For starters, there is an odd, off-putting smell about the place. Presentation was terrible. I had the philly roll and the rice was uneven and a lot of it fell off. My gf had two separate items, the second one she couldn’t finish because it was that bad. The only pro to this place is you’re only out five dollars and a few bathroom trips if you eat here. I am sure Seattle has better sushi restaurants.

Is it the best sushi in the world? No. That being said, when I am at work and craving sushi, Sushi Kudasai definitely hits the spot. They have many different combos that aren’t terribly priced and fill me up. I’ve liked every roll and piece of sushi I’ve had here. I’ve also had their udon and it’s pretty good. The staff is really nice as well.

Small restaurant in the downtown business area, very convenient. Service: Good. It was actually kind of intimidating walking in and having all the sushi chefs and waiters staring at us while we were making our decision lol Food: 1. Miso soup: Wasn’t amazing but it was hot soup! 2. Salmon Platter: Came with salmon nigiri and plain salmon rolls. They gave very little salmon in the roll but the nigiri had decent sized slices. Tasted okay, nothing special.(I wouldn’t order again) 3. Sunrise Roll: Didn’t look like it did in the photo but it was yummy. There was seared tuna and salmon on top of a california roll with tempura shrimp and cucumbers. The fish tasted pretty fresh to me. 4. Caterpillar Roll: Avocado and eel on top of a california roll. Tasted good but the sauce was a little on the sweet side. Bottom Line: This restaurant is one of those places you go to if you just want rolls for a good price. I think our meal was ~$ 35 and we were decently full.

Super quick & fish tastes pretty fresh. They have quite the variety of rolls, some pretty solid nigiri choices and some excellent lunch specials if you can’t make up your mind. Rolls start about $ 5 while lunch specials are about $ 10. Mmm, my favorite is the spicy salmon. Although their little fried tofu piece is delicious! The menu online is really helpful. Nice little spot in the heart of City Center so it’s a perfect jog for lunch.

I work downtown and love sushi, so it’s natural that I’d end up at Sushi Kudasai at some point. What do I like about it? They have pretty good sushi lunch options that aren’t too expensive and they’re very quick. It’s easy to get a filling lunch with a giant salad for about $ 10 – 12(or less, if you like rolls), and it’s easy to get the food to-go or eat there. I’ve never seen them packed, so the line’s not normally long and(in my experience) there are always plenty of seats available. Not a fancy sushi spot or the best one downtown, but… it gets the«job» done every once in a while. I like ‘em.
