Spring Academy is a 1-to-1, private, alternative school for grades 6 – 12. We offer full-time, part-time and private school programs, summer school, and tutoring in math, reading, writing and study skills. We exist to enable success for students who want a customized educational experience, a flexible schedule, or are challenged with ADHD, Asperger’s, autism or learning disabilities.
At Spring Academy, we personalize everything — from the student’s schedule, courses, and curriculum to the lesson pacing, teaching methods, and instructional style. That’s why Spring Academy works: our one-to-one approach allows us to connect and transform the student’s relationship and attitude towards learning.
History
Established in 2013.
Spring Academy was founded to create an affordable, state-of-the-art model of personalized education in order to make individualized instruction accessible to more families. Spring Academy synthesizes all of the proven, successful best practices for personalized instruction… while remaining reasonably-priced. As the culmination of the founder’s two decades of experience in personalized education, Spring Academy is available to families who wish to pursue a more individualized approach to their son or daughter’s education.
Meet the Business Owner
Rob H.
Business Owner
For the past twenty years, Rob has been integrally involved in bringing «one-to-one» educational services to Seattle families. In 2000, he co-founded and launched Educational Advancement Academy or EA2 which offered exclusively one-to-one instruction. Under his leadership, the school expanded to multiple locations throughout the Puget Sound region before merging with a national education company in 2010. Rob remained on the leadership team to assist with national expansion. He launched Spring Academy in 2013.
Rob founded Spring Academy to be the next evolutionary step in personalized education. The primary goal of Spring Academy is to combine all the best aspects of one-to-one education into a more affordable format, making the power of personalized education accessible to more Seattle families than ever before.
