Brightmont Academy is an accredited 6^th-​12^th private school with a mission to provide one-​to-​one instruction to help students reach their full academic potential and prepare for college and career. At the center of the personalized learning approach is one-​to-​one instruction: One teacher works with one student to individualize learning pace, style, and goals. Students can enroll in a customized academic program on a flexible schedule and start any time of year. Brightmont also offers courses for credit, tutoring for grades 3 – 12, test preparation, and college and career assessment.

Meet the Manager

Marcia R.

Manager

Marcia Rodes, Campus Director

Marcia holds a master of arts in education and a doctorate in educational leadership. Her bachelor of arts in education was earned at Central Washington University.

A Washington State K-​12 certified teacher, counselor, and principal, Marcia has extensive experience as a preschool through college educator. She began her teaching career with first– and second-​graders at Lake Washington School District in Kirkland, Washington.

Marcia’s deep experience as an educator also includes curriculum consulting, student services, program evaluation, and tutoring students with one-​to-​one instruction. Marcia’s recognitions include the Washington State Award for Excellence in Education, the Executive Educator 100 Award, and the Soroptimist International Women of Distinction Award. Marcia is an avid promoter of student recognition and success.
