SpeediShuttle Seattle

Driver arrived early for 4:45 am pick up to the airport. On the return trip, short wait after we got our bags before leaving the airport. We have 5 people, and got lucky that both ways we were the only party. The Mercedes vans were spotless. We found out we dropped a cell phone between 2 seats on the way out of the van. The driver found the phone and brought it back to the house. Couldn’t have asked for better service. Will use Speedi Shuttle again for sure!

I used speedi shuttle four times, both to and from Sea-​tac airport. I made the reservations online and got the confirmation call from them the day before my departure. The driver came picked us up right on time. The van is a big black Mercedes-​Benz van, very spacious and comfortable. The driver is very friendly and nice too. On the way back, when we landed at Sea-​tac, we got the call from one of their staff, telling us he was waiting in the baggage claim area. It turned out to be super easy to to find him because he was holding an ipad with our names on it. I am quite pleased with the service. Plus, the price is very reasonable. For two of us, it only cost half the price of über and other shuttle services. Will continue to use it for sure!

The negative reviews on here had me nervous about booking with SpeediShuttle. I had an early AM flight home for the holidays before public transport runs, so I needed a shuttle or cab. I was looking for something cheap and reliable, and I found that in SpeediShuttle. I booked online about 36 hours ahead of time. They are supposed to call 24 hours ahead of time to confirm, which they didn’t, but I had already planned to call the day before to confirm (always a good idea!) They arrived a few minutes early for my 3 AM pickup time. My driver was really nice, asked if the temperature was comfortable for us.
SpeediShuttle’s online booking was really easy, the van was clean, the driver was nice and drove safely, and affordable. It really hit all the marks for me, and I would use them next time I have an early (or late) flight. What a relief!

Well that one star is for the driver who salvaged this nightmare of a service. I walked to baggage claim as instructed to do so and couldn’t find anyone holding up my name so I waited.15 minutes, then 30. Finally I called and told them EXACTLY where I was in baggage claim and was reassured that they knew where I was and where coming to get me and sorry for the delay. Okay no biggie, so I stood in that exact same spot for another 40 minutes! I called again and they told me he was walking around looking for me, so when I finally did find him with my name on a iPad that he was angrily waving around, I walked up and said hey there! And instead of a «I’m so sorry for the inconvenience, misunderstanding and delay» what I got was silence. As he hurriedly walked away expecting me to follow him, while I did he lead me out to the freezing cold, again in silence, finally reached the shuttle area where *gasp he spoke to inform me the shuttle should be here soon, so instead of waiting more inside they sent me outside to freeze while I waited for said shuttle. I would have rather spent the extra money for a cab or über that would be there on time and not make me wait over an hour and some change late at night in a city I’ve never been too.

This was a horrendous experience. They sent me a confirmation email affirming my pick up time for my flight. After I waited and allowed the extra 15 minutes, I called them. Apparently they had marked my reservation as complete and then claimed to send someone in 5 minutes when they realized I had not been picked up yet. After 15 more minutes, I hopped in a cab. Don’t waste your time. Take a cab or use the light rail. Terrible service. Also when you call, they make you listen to a long automated message about how wonderful they are. Completely miserable. For a $ 16 ride, I didn’t get picked up and instead paid $ 40 for a cab. At least I made my flight.

This is an excellent service. It is prompt, has new clean Mercedes vans that drop off and pick up at your door, and has excellent prices. The cost is ¹⁄₃ to ½ the cost of Über or a cab. I highly recommend it.

I screwed up my reservation and not only did they assist me but the service was exceptional. I am beyond impressed and will definitely be using this service again. You rock!!!

UPDATE: A glimmer of hope; I’ve been contacted by SpeediShuttle Seattle admin and they’ve gone above and beyond to make my experience better. I must say I’m very happy with the touch back and the resolution. I’ll give SpeediShuttle another try.

I am very happy with SpeediShuttle Seattle. From the moment our family arrived at the airport, the lady from Speedi Shuttle has already at the baggage claim to greet us. She helped us with the luggages and took us to the car.
The car is very clean and very roomy for our family of 10 people. The driver was very courteous and polite.
I would definitely used Speedi Shuttle next time.

The person at the ticket booth said the shuttle would leave in «5−7 minutes.» The shuttle was there but the driver waited another 30 minutes to leave.
They will make you wait until they get more people to shuttle, which is understandable, but don’t mislead the customer. If you need to get to downtown Seattle from the airport, skip the shuttle services and take the light rail.

My family and I recently used this service to get to SeaTac, and everything went super smoothly, without a hitch. What a pleasant surprise, as in our experience, there’s always at least ONE hitch, somewhere along the way! lol! Well, not this last time, not with SpeediShuttle.
In the past, for years, my family’s used Shuttle Express, but we started curtailing their services about 5 years ago or so, as we were put on shuttles with tons of other people/​pick ups and we’ve gotten to the airport later than I’d have liked; plus, we found it was getting more expensive, too. We then started to used various town car options and they were all super nice but quite expensive. So it was GREAT to see that there is finally another option for airport transportation in Seattle, and SpeediShuttle totally fills that gap!
My family tends to take a big trip every summer, and smaller trips throughout the year. For the big trip, we always leave crazy early in the morning (i.e., need to leave our house before 4 am). We always have a crazy ton of luggage. Then it gets complicated, as my husband gets back to Seattle solo a week or so later. There are lots of extenuating details for our wacky family trips. It’s not easy ironing out all the details, including the airport transportation. Usually. Well, this past trip, it WAS. It was totally easy! After reading the Unilocal reviews for Speedi, I decided to book our transportation to SeaTac online, with all the luggage issues, the super early departure time, the international travel info, etc. It was easy. And the price was less than Shuttle Express, and way way less than a town car. And we were assured there’d be no problem with all our luggage (we had a lot).
The Benz van came to our house on time, on the dot, before 4am. Quiet so as not to wake the neighbors. The van was spotless clean and the driver was pleasant. We had one other stop en route to the airport to pick up a couple, and then we got to SeaTac with plenty of time to spare. No stress about time.
We will definitely definitely use Speedi again. It’s the perfect choice for our family.

Oh man, what a way to be welcomed to Seattle. I couldn’t get my trusty Über, and not wanting to wait for a taxi, which I should have done in hindsight, I hopped on with a group that was also going downtown. Very inexperienced driver, struggled with the gears (the car sounded as if it was about to stall at every light), held up traffic everywhere while fiddling with his GPS. We stopped at one of the hotels and one of the valley attendants had to scream at him 3 times to move the car, since he was blocking the guest /​vallet lane instead of going into the shuttle lane. I asked to walk, since I was already downtown, but he never stopped. Then he circled my hotel a few times before finally stopping.

These guys and gals are great.
Here is the story.
We booked a flight from San Jose to Seattle and went with our pre-​paid shuttle service Shuttle Express. When we got to the shuttle company I was told I need to wait 1 hour or more for the shuttle! WHY THEN DID I MAKE A RESERVATION TO WAIT 1 HOUR FOR A ½ HOUR RIDE TO CRUISE SHIP.
I started to look around and went over to talk to the representative at Speedi Shuttle and was greeted politely and informed that I could get a shuttle within 10 minutes. I returned to Express Shuttle and got a refund. Speedi Shuttle was much less expensive, had better service and also showed up with a new Mercedes black van. As I was just about to enter the van the Gal from Express Shuttle shouted to me in a harsh voice that I should have waited because my shuttle with them was there. REALLY WAS SHE DELIRIOUS. NEVER WOULD USE EXPRESS SHUTTLE THEY ARE MORE MORE EXPENSIVE, LONGER DELAY AND RUDE. Speedi Shuttle has my business from now on.

Good people and great service! It was my first trip to the Seattle area and I needed a ride to Bellevue. I checked out several share van services on the internet and was ready to make a reservation with «the other one» when I decided to check on Yep. I’m so glad I did cause I changed my mind after reading several marginal reviews on them. I then booked with SpeediShuttle. Great choice! There they were at baggage claim just as they said and walked me right to their parking area and a really nice van — clean as can be and very comfortable. Drivers both ways were perfect as well as the drive itself.

Awesome experience! After dealing with flight delays all day, we were about an hour and a half behind schedule. I was worried that this would mess things up with my reservation, but it didn’t make a difference. We were politely greeted while we picked up our luggage and walked to the waiting area which was a nice touch, or else we probably would have gotten lost. We were told the next shuttle would arrive in 15 minutes and it came right on time. The shuttle was a new, spotless Mercedes and still had the «new car» smell. Our driver was very friendly and polite and got us to our hotel without any issues. Can’t recommend these guys enough!

I think I love this new shuttle service. When I arrived to Seattle for business, my regular shuttle service was having the usual delays (40 minute wait at 8:00 am with a reservation). Just a few steps away was Speedy Shuttle. Their wait…2 minutes! The lovely young woman walked me to the NEW Mercedes van and we were off and running! On the return, prompt pick up and and back to the airport in plenty of time for my flight. I may switch for good!

I was looking for an alternative to the standard shuttle on a recent business trip to Seattle, speedishuttle was above and beyond my expectations! I arrived at the airport and there was someone holding sign with my name on it! I’ve made it folks! I’ve got a sign with my name on it!!!
Service was on-​time, courteous, and the Mercedes vans are brand spanking new. This was probably the smoothest part of my trip! Highly recommended.

Horrid, horrid service. Avoid this company. Their driver was unsafe, and he did not deliver me to my home. They did not keep their contract. They did not respond to my complaint. «Cheap» has more than one meaning. They will take your money, but not deliver the service – You! — as promised.
I booked two legs (to and from) the airport. First shuttle was fine.
Return trip had no greeter with sign, and was not waiting for me in stated location. After I walked around for 20 minutes, I had to call company. Greeter said he called me «5 or 6 times» to find me, which is a lie – I have phone, text, and voice mail records. They picked me up 45 minutes late. I was told I would be only rider on way home – there were three riders. Another rider also was told she would be only rider on way home.
The van smelled (pot much earlier in the day?) The driver drove unsafely. He drove hunched over, using his elbows and wrists. Air conditioner was freezing – set to driver comfort, without concern for passenger comfort.
Driver did not know how to use the turn lane in front of my house, so instead passed by my house, drove around the block (passing a second turn lane), did a U-​turn inside a narrow residential street which risked him getting bashed by traffic turning into that street, then parked ¹⁄₃ block away from my house – NOT at the agreed upon address. He really wanted me to walk with all my luggage all that way!
BTW – these drivers are required to use a location finder (according to the first-​leg driver), so this driver knew where I lived – he indeed does not know how, or does not wish to use, the turn lane.
At my apartment building, he blocked the entire parking lot with his sideways cock-​eyed parking, unnecessarily preventing my neighbor who was attempting to leave.
I called the service. Dispatch took my complaint. When I asked her to read it back to me, it was very incomplete. She said a manager would call me back within 24 hours. No one has called me back – it has been 3 ½ days.

Awesome service, so much better than Shuttle Express. Very glad that Seattle finally gets a cheaper alternative for an airport shuttle service. First off, their fleet of Mercedes shuttles is top quality. They’re new and very clean with plenty of space for luggage. The shuttles also supposedly are equipped with free Wi-​Fi, though I didn’t utilize it. Second, the shuttle arrived on time at our hotel to pick us up. And thirdly, the price! I frequently take SuperShuttle in other cities but they don’t serve Seattle so I’ve been looking for something in the same price range as SuperShuttle. Shuttle Express though is more expensive and so I’m glad SpeediShuttle is here now with it’s cheaper prices.
