Established in 2004.

Founded in 2004, by Jessica Norton. On a visit to New York City in January of 2003, the idea of Spa Noir was conceived. Jessica loved the intimacy of the little restaurants and boutiques in the Manhattan neighborhoods and wanted to create a spa that had the same energy. She decided to bring that idea combined with her 14+ years of experience in esthetics, and retail, and makeup back to her native Seattle. Belltown was the only choice for a location with its creative, diverse population of businesses and residents. Jessica is thrilled to offer clients a unique experience to any other spa, pampering all senses during any service.

Jessica has been in the spa industry for over twenty years, and in 2004 fulfilled her dream of opening Spa Noir.

After working for years in the Seattle spa industry, Jessica had the desire to create something different; a spa that was dark and cozy like your favorite neighborhood hangout, open late, and that played music you may actually want to hear instead of the canned «relaxation» variety so often heard in spas. Something else that was very important– a welcoming vibe to anyone who wanted a moment of peace, absolutely no intimidating attitudes allowed.

Spa Noir was born. The dream to provide excellent, affordable services in a unique environment came true, and is in the heart of Belltown, one of downtown Seattle’s oldest neighborhoods.

On Jessica’s days away from Spa Noir, she spends her time with her three children, one husband, two dogs, and a tiny cat. Vintage shopping is her biggest hobby as well as enjoying everything the Pacific Northwest has to offer!

A surprise from my boyfriend for my 30th birthday was a day at this spa. Full body massage, facial, and a pedi! The massage was so great, relaxing and relieved my shoulder pain. The facial was fabulous, the scalp massage was the best part for sure! After 2 ½ hours of relaxing I went for my pedi, didn’t want to make any decisions so the girl picked my colors and went for it. They turned out great! Lovely ladies and very helpful for a clueless man to call and make his girl happy :) thank you for making my day awesome!

My massage therapist was nice and gave a pretty good massage (hands, face and scalp were highlights). But I have gotten more relaxing and therapeutic deep tissue massages at better prices. I did come late in the day which I am sure matters. My husband was also not super impressed with his massage either. He’s got welts and said while there was quite a bit of pressure — he didn’t experience much release either. That wouldn’t necessarily keep me from coming back, however, because you can give feedback before the next one and I felt my therapist really cared about getting it right.
What will keep me from coming back was the atmosphere. First, the very loud music and noise coming from the bar next door. Second, the extremely loud and pretty intense music they pipe into the rooms to cover the noise (think of Florence and the machines most intense stuff). Lastly, the British receptionist who read what my job was off the form I filled out and proceeded to delve into the differing qualification systems for British and American lawyers and how British lawyers are much more qualified until I told her I didn’t want to talk about that before a relaxing massage… Also, seeing my husband’s Seahawks sweater she really wanted to tell us how much she hates football. So weird and intrusive.

Had a fantastic experience here. Had a small spa party with two of my friends and they were great and working with me to make it happen. My two friends had never had a massage before and both left deciding they had been truly missing something in their lives! The massage was excellent and the facial was amazing as well. Two of us got the Winter Radiance package which was great! We will definitely be back.

Where do I put a 6 ****** star?!! Love this place! Ok besides the fact that the atmosphere is lovely & delightful the services is awesome! I had the best facial by the owner & a fantastic massage by Kim! I was there for a bachlorette pamper party for 7 & it went so smoothly! Can’t say enough about this spa!!! I want to go weekly!

Both times I have come here have been for *emergency* last minute, end-​of-​awful-​day massages. I have seen Becca and Kim and they both instantly took me out of my grumpy head and into pure spa time bliss. The two massages I have had were equally incredible but hard to compare to one another. Becca was so intuitive with foot problems I am riddled with and Kim was so deep and investigative into my shoulder knots. I absolutely love this place and wish I could come every day. Prices are extremely fair, their late hours are UNBEATABLE and the massage therapists as well as front desk staff are as sweet as can be. Two relaxed thumbs up from me.

I had part of my bachelorette party at this spa last weekend and it was fabulous. All of the staff were extremely kind and accommodating and the quality of the services we received was very good. I love that they allow you to have a private party in their spa so that you can have the whole place to yourselves with your girlfriends. We will definitely be back!

I came here as a birthday surprise from my wife — and spent an hour in a massage and an hour in a facial. What an awesome experience! The mood of the place is just right — high, textured black ceilings with vintage dim lights hanging from it in each room — professional, calming, and competent staff. Each of my experiences was top-​notch, and I felt that for all we got, the price was not unreasonable at all. I hope to be back soon. :)

I really enjoyed my experience here. I went in for a 75 minute massage with Kim. The spa itself is kind of a no frills place. They don’t offer you a robe to change into or spa slides and there isn’t a relaxation room or steam room to hang out in (at least not that I was shown), but it is a very clean and inviting place so I didn’t mind. I thought Kim was an excellent therapist. She made sure to inquire as to what I was looking to get out of my experience and made sure to apply just the right amount of pressure I was comfortable with. The massage felt amazing and I left relaxed. I will definitely request Kim next time I go in.

I really liked this place. Visiting from out of town I wanted to get a deep tissue massage. In true form I searched Unilocal for a good place and this is where I landed. I made an appointment same day with Becca (I really hope I remember her name correctly) for a 75 minute deep tissue massage. This was only my second massage ever, but I know this was so much better than my first one. I had a ton of knots she worked out. Becca is a small gal but it’s amazing just how much strength she has! I almost asked her to ease up. She was also incredibly nice and made me feel very comfortable. $ 105 for a 75 minute massage seemed relatively reasonable. Would definitely go back again!

I was in Seattle a couple of weeks ago for business. I made a last-​minute appointment with Kim. She was wonderful and had a great massage. The Spa is pretty typical for a small day spa reception area and treratment rooms only. The only con is the street parking. I would recommened going 30 minutes early because thats how long it took me to find a space. Paying for parking in Seattle a nightmare anyways because you have to download the app and pay via smart phone.

This place is AMAZING! Found on Unilocal.Been here twice in the last few weeks. Had a hot stone massage, then a facial from Constance last week. It was great. Skin felt and looked great. Staff there is really pleasant. Lots of parking. Location is sandwiched between a few buildings so easy to overlook.

The staff here is friendly, service is very good, and prices are very reasonable. I got a massage here and the masseuse was attentive and I felt relaxed afterward. I also got a pedicure, which was a positive experience except for the drying process. I literally had to sit around in the dark until my nails dried, as there were no nail drying stations.
Despite the generally positive experience, I will not be returning because of the atmosphere, which did not feel clean and «spa-​like.» It’s located next to a tattoo parlor, which is fine, but it seems that tattoo aesthetic permeates the interior of this place too. It was extremely dark inside and the smell was a bit off, like expired massage oil or something. The products for sale also looked iffy, at least compared to other spas I’ve tried. Finally, the space is extremely cramped and the finishes of walls, floors, and counters are not luxurious.
For someone who likes this aesthetic, I’m sure you will really enjoy it. However, to me it just felt off. I found ananya to be a much preferable experience, since it felt light, open, not cramped, and more luxurious.

So I was working close to here for a couple weeks and I was in pinched nerve hell from golfing. I mean I was so hurt I was in serious pain. I went in and met up with the staff and explained my plight.
Kim was the one who took care of my massage needs and it kept me able to work. three massages in two weeks and I was good to go! I cant thank them enough.
The pricing here is standard and the building is beautiful, relaxing and clean.
The owner and all the staff are super sweet people and know what they are doing. true professionalism.

Great group spa experience. Amy made our «just because’ party so easy to plan, the staff were helpful, supportive of what we were looking for and the spa itself has a great atmosphere (dark, cozy, spa-​smells) and a nice array of services. I will be back for sure and will likely host other group events here as well. Other spas i contacted were not interested in working with a group, presented a lot of paperwork barriers/​rules, ridiculous fees/​minimums.

I gave Spa Noir 3.5 stars based on an average of all the services I did that day. Amy is superb! She was really nice when I called to schedule for an appointment for my friend and I. She was so easy to work with and was very informative. My friend and I thought we were going to be getting our massages together since the package we got was Double Decadence. I thought that’s why we had to schedule it the same time but it turned out to be we were splitting up the services then swapping half way through.
I started off with the 40 minute customized organic facial. Amira did a consult of my face and taught me a lot. Although she was the expert, she wanted my input on her recommendations. She informed me of all the products she used on me each time, I thought that was cool. She did an awesome job, my face felt so nice and soft after the session. I highly recommend a facial with Amira!!!
Amira also did the Coconut scalp treatment for me. She didn’t use the coconut oil because she said it would leave my hair oily. I didn’t think I got much from the scalp treatment. This was done in between my facial so it was a total tease!
To end my first half of the double decadence package, Amira did a Energizing foot massage. I actually really enjoyed the foot massage. She rubbed some products on my feet but didn’t really tell me what they were. It just felt really really good. I wish it was longer, I would rather have the facial and foot massage.
My second half was a 60 minute hot-​stone massage with Kirin. First time having a hot stone massage but I read a lot and spoke to people who did it before. This was not my cup of tea. A lot of the time I felt like Kirin was walking back and forth getting the stones. I felt like I got a total of 30 minutes of massage. The massage consisted of her rubbing the hot stone all over my body with no kind of pressure. I was pretty disappointed with the massage because she also asked me my problem spots I would like to addressed. I swear she barely touched those spots and spent majority of the time rubbing the hot stones on my leg.
Overall, the only 2 services I thought was worth the money is the facial and foot massage. I seriously recommend the facial with Amira if you are deciding to go here for that!

My friend Susan gave me a gift card for a Noir 75 massage. I was thankful for the gift, but dreaded driving all the way to Belltown from Everett.
Boy was it worth it!
Melissa was dialed right in to my issues, and really had healing in her hands. I’m hooked and it looks like I’ll be driving to Seattle a few times per month to see her!

Was here one other time because a friend got me a gift cert for a hot stone massage. I had a great experience. I’ve always wanted to go back, so when the opportunity came w/​a Gilt City deal, I got so excited and bought 2 this time.
So I went yesterday and It was a 90 min hot stone massage. I realized the massage therapist ended my session ½ hour early and didn’t even tell me. I had confront the receptionist and she said «she messed up». She suggest that I can make up the 30 mins some other time. That means I have to find time on my weekend to go there again!
Also, when I was ready to redeem my coupon, she said it was already used. I said it couldn’t be and she was trying to reason with me. Then she said the owner will call me to sort it through, because the receptionist doesn’t know the system. Don’t be working the front desk if you don’t know how to use the system!!! It gives your SPA a bad name and you look VERY disorganized.
Overall the customer service is VERY BAD! They are lucky that I gave them even 1 star.

I walked in here on a Saturday morning at 11 to get a massage from Melissa. I was quite happy with the appointment process where I called to inquire if I could get a same day appointment and was given one.
Melissa did an excellent job at finding all the muscle knots, doing a few tricks to help relax my fatigues shoulders (bad posture there) and also played some great music in the background. This spa is not over the top fancy but quite real and efficient and sort of more contemporary and fun. The playlist I was referring to is a compilation of the music that people who work in the spa like. The pressure put by Melissa was just right and if you are looking for something delicate, this is not what you will get. I almost fell asleep towards the end due to how relaxed I felt. Before I left, I was talking to Melissa about available facials as I badly needed one.
She spoke to the receptionist and viola I got another same day appointment as someone had cancelled. The massage was with Jessica who used these amazing Eminence products from Hungary. They not only smell awesome but feel so good on your skin. Spa Noir is one of the first salons in the country to use and sell their products. My skin feels wonderful and it’s been more than a week. Jessica also gave me several samples and I bought a night cream that is doing wonders to the magic she worked on my skin. Already scheduled my next with her.
Prices are reasonable for the quality of service. Will be coming back for more days of pampering and relaxation.
