Discovered theis hidden gem that’s only 5 mins from my work. Good prices, good selection on everything I need for my beautiful plants. Sodo Hydro and my fellow Cantonese Lucky Green House & Light are my Go-To’s for anything Hydrolated!

Hands down best store I have been to in the Seattle area. Trust me when I tell you I have been to quite a few. Been shopping here over 4 years and have always been treated very well. Price’s consistently at or below anywhere else I have seen at other stores, including many online options especially taking into account shipping expenses. The owner Ryan is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly (staff as well but Ryan really shines in the knowledge dept.). Do yourself a favor and if you are a gardener of any kind stop by for a visit. Whether your into hydroponics, grow in dirt, have a garden set up inside the house or in your backyard I promise you that you can’t do better anywhere else. Quick side note, this is my first review ever on Unilocal.Chatted with Ryan for a minute today and afterwards decided to do him and family justice and write up a proper review of an AWESOME store.

The owners are so nice and are very helpful. I always go to SODO first, they usually have everything I need.

Love this place! Went back today after almost eighteen months and they still remembered me. (Most likely my friend… Much more striking than me).
Always answer my questions. Not condescending and very efficient.
Not comfortable with hydroponics but get great advice for soil growth…

Another plus they have thirty minute parking in front… Have never had to hunt for a spot.
Support these people they are honest and offer great products. If you take into account shipping I bet they could beat all online prices. And who doesn’t enjoy seeing and touching what you get first…

I love this place, I always get exactly what I’m looking for. The staff is very knowledgable and friendly, I feel at home everytime I walk through the door even if I have to leave my back behind the counter (which is more then ok) I always leave with more then I walked in with… big ups sodo hydro!

I’ve been growing hydroponically for over two years and as a result I have been to every hydro shop in the greater Seattle area. At this point, there are only two stores that I patronize. If i’m north of 520I go to another shop which I Unilocal-​reviewed and if im south of 520 I go to SODO HYDRO. No reason to go anywhere else and lots of reasons not to. They stand by their products 100% and have been extremely helpful in diagnosing problems/​returning equipment when a problem arises, which is an inevitable consequence with this hobby. 5 stars as they’ve earned my loyalty over the last couple of years while the other shops have left a lot to be desired in that department.

Great selection, nice clean and organized showroom, helpful and professional FRIENDLY staff! Kudos to Sodo Hydro.

I have been a hydroponics enthusiast for over a decade and SODO Hydro is the best hydroponics shop that I have found.
Friendly and knowledgeable owners that run a clean professional shop stocked full of high quality equipment.
The prices are competetive and they can order anything that they do not stock and have it delivered within a week.

Let me preface this review with the disclaimer that I knew very little about hydroponics when I came in here.
I came in here to get started, and I left with a TON of literature but no system. And I think that’s a good thing. I really appreciated their help, information, and practical advice without being pushy.
Very nice people, and I’ll be going back here to get the supplies for my first hydroponic experiment!

Such nice people and they are not even open yet. But no matter what if it is not in stock they will get it sometimes the same day.
