If this review were just for the person who fixed our windshield it would be much better… He was sweet and helpful and did a very nice job. 5-​star service from him… Unfortunately he has an extremely rude coworker.
We had our dog with us as we fixed a ding in our windshield on the way to work (our dog goes to work with my husband). We asked the very nice gentleman helping us if it would be OK if we stayed in the car with our dog (who was freaking out) and was told it would be fine. Well, another (incredibly rude) guy apparently disagreed and came over and barked at us that we were «in an employee area» and needed to leave. That’s fine, I’ll stand outside in the cold for 20 minutes in the cold with my dog (we obviously couldn’t leave him in there). But I won’t return. Next time we’ll arrange for a competitor to take care of things.

First time customer today. My Mercedes looks great.
All of the great reviews are true. Very professional and kind. Great waiting room with free soda, coffee and goodies. Airlines don’t offer half as much as Seattle Safelite.

Let’s see what Safelite does to address a massive screw-​up. My windshield was replaced on April 8 on my Honda Civic. I have been traveling and today May 15, it was raining and I turned on the windshield wipers for the first time since the windshield was replaced. The blades struck each other on every transit and I was unable to use them. When I reached home I checked to see what was going on. Safelite apparently put the wrong wiper assemblies on: the passenger side blade is longer than the driver side. It should be the other way around. Wow! If I had discovered this on a trip or on the freeway when it was really raining I would have been in danger and would have been unable to drive. I expect Safelite to correct this problem promptly and perhaps with some consideration of my time and also the risk that this error had put me.
Follow-​up: Contacted Safelite which corrected the problem. Apparently the wiper arms had been mix-​up. But given the disastrous potential consequences of such a mistake, routine procedures should be in place to prevent this from happening.

Safelite (@Aurora Ave, Seattle) had next day appointment available for my van’s broken passenger side window glass. They quickly fixed the broken glass but post-​fix cleanup was very mediocre. Shattered glass pieces are all around drivers’ seat which is a nightmare given that this van carries two young boys. Also, they forgot the screwdriver (that probably comes with glass kit) in the van.

Fast, friendly, flexible, and treated me like my business mattered to them.

I was very impressed with the customer service, as well as the job performed! I had a small crack on my windshield. It was very easy to schedule an appointment, the paperwork was ready when I got there, and it only took about 20−30min! I was also impressed and appreciated that they vacuumed my vehicle as well as cleaned all the windows!
All in all, a good experience! I wish all encounters with car repairs were this pleasant! Props to the employees for a job well done!

Was able to schedule and then reschedule online. Time to complete the work was exactly as expected.

Scheduled an appt to replace my windshield and they did a great job. Checking in was quick and they had my paperwork in order that was done online. Their tech is fast and did a fantastic job. He transferred my oil change reminder sticker, and flawlessly transfered my Good to Go pass as well! Didn’t expect that since those stickers are hard to remove (past personal experience). My car was clean inside and received a free can of glass cleaner. Nice selection of drinks and treats for waiting customers…
Only reason for a 4-​star is the company’s ability not able to use my Visa gift card. Everything checked out, talked with their boss, but their debit system wouldn’t take it. Not a big deal, paid for it another way, but this part of the process can be improved.
They’ve earned my business and recommendation if friends ask…

I’m really pleased with the work I had done by Sarah the tech who came out to work on my vehicle today. I had a crack that was spreading rapidly, so I called my insurance to check on coverage. With a $ 500 deductible, I knew I would most likely be paying for it out of pocket.
Sarah was timely, worked me into her schedule early when she had an opening, vacuumed the front of my car (!) and did an all around great job.
Kudos to Safelite for supporting women in the trades, and for hiring veterans. Although I hope I don’t need another windshield soon, I won’t hesitate to call them again.
Warning: Safelite has a rather ridiculously high standard of excellent for their techs. Anything less than a 9 is considered a failure. Working with the public as I do, I think this is a bit unrealistic. There’s always going to be some jerkwad who won’t be satisfied by anything or anyone. Hopefully, Safelite appreciates the hard working employees they have and take some of those ill-​tempered customers with a grain of salt.

Had to get my windshield replaced after getting nailed with something on the freeway. The customer service was so amazing. The guy that initially came out mobile was super nice, and the woman with scheduling when it turned out I had to replace the whole thing was so kind and totally willing to put in any extra effort to help me (getting me in next day!). Day of, all the technicians were super friendly and helpful, especially the guy working the front desk. Very fast service and they made sure to put my good-​to-​go, work gate pass etc. back on my windshield. A+, though I hope I don’t have to get a new windshield again any time soon!

We had a crack rapidly spreading across our windshield, so we called State Farm and they set us up here.
I brought the car in and about an hour or so later the new windshield was in, all the windows were cleaned, and they vacuumed the front of our car to clean up.
The windshield is OEM, and their installation was great (about a week ago, and no problems so far).
I interacted with two customer service staff members: one was pretty down to earth and chill, and the other was really loud and corporate-​customer-​servicey. The chill person was great, and the peppy person was great too, just a little too fake-​seeming/​in my face for me to want to interact with them all the time. They did a great job, but the second person just seemed to be trying REALLY hard.
Along with that, they had tons of «customer comfort» stuff, which was unexpected, but nice. Lots of little packaged snacks and candy, refrigerated drinks, coffee, hot chocolate, tea, etc. I’m used to stiff-​as-​nails coffee in auto places, and that’s it, but they even had a laptop desk and «charging area.» They must be trying to recover their reputation with all the little things. I care more about the windshield than my wait, but some people care about that stuff quite a bit.
Did a good job, so I’m satisfied!

I hate to leave a bad review but I must in this instance. Last year our windshield was to be replaced (about a ~$ 680 job on our car).
They came out with a young fellow and his older supervisor guy. When I came back near end of job to see how they were doing, the supervisor was gone and the young guy intimated he’d done the job, and please could we give him a positive rating if all looked good. Visually the job looked fine.
Later however, we realized they’d broken the car’s wiper-​washer fluid line. They snapped it off such that we had to replace it –a $ 245 cost! That could only happen if they’d never have dealt with our make of car — and they told us they had.
We called and could only get message; we left message that we needed to be reimbursed. No one ever called us back and my husband was so disgusted, he didn’t want to deal with them again.
If they don’t rectify real problems like this, I don’t see how they can stay in business.

My car was broken into so I had to get my back window replaced. Safelite worked efficiently with my insurance provider, StateFarm. I am new to the state, so my coverage had not fully transferred over; Safelitle patiently worked with the claims department to ensure the correct policy was in place for my window repair coverage. Safelite also let me keep my car at their facility for an extra night. Every employee that I came in contact with was upbeat, polite, and informative (the person who repaired my window, the person at the front desk, and various employees I conversed with over the phone). I am very satisfied with my new window, and am so thankful for Safelite’s great customer service.

Had my window smashed in across the street and called up Safelite for a window replacement after calling around for window quotes. They were able to schedule me in the next day and replace my drivers side window ASAP. Bridgette at the front desk was great. The guys who did the work were also super friendly and knowledgable. Will definitely come back for auto glass replacements in the future if I need to. Thanks guys!

I was driving on the freeway and a frisky little rock decided to attack my windshield. Luckily, my insurance policy covers glass. I had a next day appointment and when I called they told me it would take about an hour and a half to replace the entire windshield. UGH stupid rock! Anywho, I dropped my car off and instead of it taking the hour and a half I was told, it ended up taking only 45 minutes! On top of that they threw in free streak-​less window cleaner. yaaay can’t have enough of that stuff! We also discovered that they vacuumed the car and cleaned every window!
All in all, I like this company and highly recommend it to anyone who may need them.

I needed a new gasket with the new windshield and they tracked one down on the east coast (I have a vw vanagon so not a common car for them) and went out of their way to make sure I was happy. We will bring all our cars there when glass is needed.

I got the DING on a Saturday morning. Scheduled my appointment for that Monday via the super easy to use website. Monday at 2:30p the customer service was great. I left 20 minutes later, ding repaired and a customer going forward.

Upon finally getting my passenger door panel fixed (the side this store worked on) from the dealership, I am dropping the stars down to 1. I would put 0 if possible, but I’ll leave it at 2 because they were able to get me in last minute.
Apparently the door lock mechanism was not put back properly and/​or was broken in the process, which overall lead to about $ 400 in parts/​labor which cost me more than the gain from getting the widow replaced here.
One can say this issue should have been reported to safelite right away, however upon finding out the extent of the issues from putting the door panel back on, I would not have confidence in this shop to be able to put it back together, even on a second attempt.

Snacks in the waiting room w the TV on, very nice waiting experience. Fixed my window after the whole passenger side back window was smashed and the results were flawless! And they take my insurance.

Safelite is extremely over priced and they will try to upsell you!
Safelite was my first call when my windshield needed to be replaced because I had heard their name a lot in commercials. But the woman quoted me a price for windshield replacement + installation that was over $ 150 higher than the place I finally went with (both quotes were for the same higher quality «quiet”-windshields), plus they wanted a $ 25 fee to come out to my house (other two places I got quotes from come to you for free). As I’m still getting information, she starts to tell me how they can replace my windshield wipers while they are there for $ 24.99 a pair. To top it all off, their first available appointment was 3 days further out than the other two places I talked to!
