Pretty hard to review when your gf eats $ 40 worth of chocolates before we even get to the car. I suppose it was good. There were some pieces left but it was not worth her taking my life over. If you ask her, she’ll tell you they were too good to share.
The service was good. We walked in and he gave us a sample. He didn’t offer any recommendations until asked but did strike up a conversation as we told him about the underground tour we came from. (Which btw you get a discount on the chocolates if you show him your tickets)#Protip
The prices are by pound determined in quantities of whats dipped, stuffed and covered. A little expensive if you ask me, but it was worth a try.

Alex was more than kind. Not only did I have amazing sea salt caramel but tips on the best cookies across the street and coffee that wasn’t Starbucks. Thanks Alex!

We got the caramel milk chocolate squares, so good! What we especially liked; however, was the customer service. Alexander was extremely helpful in telling us what to see and visit in the city. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

ran into this place on our little stroll around pikes place. we tried the apple pie candy apple. it was so good. definitely a place to try for your sweet tooth

I had no idea it was a chain until we saw the bear!
We asked the guy working if they all have different outfits but he was so stoned.
We ordered one of the chocolate covered apples and munched on it. It was pretty good. But it is hard to mess up chocolate!
Wish the guy working could have given me some recommendations when I asked what his favorite hung was but he was just not helpful.

I’ve been a customer here on and off for a couple years now; actually I just ordered a box of chocolates to be made for a friend of mine in distress a week ago, Caroline helped me throughout the entire order and she was a doll! :-)
There are two cases of chocolate that they import from Colorado, but most of your attention should either be on the storemade case or the Full-​Tilt (local) ice-​cream case; and that’s just for yourself. The apples they have make for either great gifts or great party desserts!
I do admit it can seem a bit pricy at first but there is so much sugar in making just one purchase that it should be well worth your time and money.
The place is cute and very tidy, it’s ideal to come here when it’s not crowded and you can have a laugh or two with the guys here. It’s really them who throw in the charm: Vlad with his glorious beard, Francis with her Southern charms and spritely little Caroline have all contributed to a fun time those few minutes we could spare a chat over a purchase.
Of course, when things do get busy (summertime, Valentine’s Day, etc.) it REALLY gets hectic and they get their asses in gear; I know how it feels to work for corporate so: cut them some slack or throw in a joke or two, they work their asses off as it is! Peace ;-)

It’s 84° at 7:00pm on a Saturday night. We want ice cream so badly and a quick Google search shows Rocky Mountain having ice cream and being open until 8:00. PERFECT! Only we walk up to the door and it is very clearly closed. My friend and I promptly throw adult tantrums because Google had lied to us and we are still without ice cream. A kind gentleman approaches us from around the corner and asks what website said 8? He then remarks that he will have to update that immediately. As it turns out, he was the one closing the shop that evening and overheard our whining and ice cream fits. He unlocked the doors, invited us in and dished us up some delicious ice cream and chocolate goodies. It totally made our nights! Thank you Vladimir! You Rock!
The kicker to this whole thing is, I’ve searched for the hours we had seen on Google and can no longer find them. Oops. Who knows if we actually saw 8, but apparently Rocky Mountain Chocolate was our fate tonight.

The chocolates are good but I don’t know if they are worth the price listed…=(
Truffle for 2.75 and Almond Bear for almost 5 bucks… hmmm…pretty pricey.
I feel like I could get some better cheap and good chocolate somewhere else.
I wish they had more chocolate flavored ice cream in their ice cream section. Only ¹⁄₈ of the flavor was chocolate =(

Cute little chocolate shop located inside a building with so much historical importance for this area. Their prices are a little high but the selection is enormous. They even have chocolate boxes ready for Valentine’s day. Their fruits seems fresh and are now covered with chocolate. Amazing smells and mouth-​watering treats to encapture your sweet desires.

If you can get past the prices, this place is pretty good. I really loved the candy apples. If you ask (and sometimes they offer), they will cut the apple into slices for you. The truffles were also pretty good. You can get a discount from this location if you have a wristband from Bill Spiegel’s Underground Tour. The service when I was there wasn’t bad; the woman behind the counter offered to help me (multiple times) and I got a cup of water to wash the sugar down. Plus, you can sit inside and watch the people walk by. Overall a good experience, but the price keeps me from giving it 4 stars.

This was the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I went months ago and the experience left such a bad taste in my mouth, I had to leave a review. An especially big bummer when it’s a hot day and you want to go for a fun summer outing, but the people are so rude and unkind it just blows your mind. This is not how you expect people to act in Seattle, especially in a place that has the potential to be as sweet and whimsical as Rocky Mountain.

I live in Pioneer Square and I visit Rocky Mountain as often as I’ll allow myself chocolate. The staff is adorable and charming, the chocolate is amazing.
Also, I have no idea who the evil chick is they’re talking about, cuz everyone always smiles when I’m there…

They should fire the girl with the attitude. (I feel like she must REALLY hate chocolate. It usually makes most people smile) I come in every week (sometimes every day) and I get little more than a smirk from her. This isn’t NYC, you don’t have to act like you’re a badass. I don’t know why the shitake they keep her around… maybe she’s good at… other stuff…
HOWEVER…The other staff is shy, but knowledgeable and always ready with a smile.
Also there’s the chocolate. I love the chocolate truffles and have had almost ever flavor. They never disappoint. I can’t decide if I like theirs or Frans better, so I’ve decided I like them both equally. The staff here isn’t as vibrant as the ones in Pike Place, but they’re mostly sweet nevertheless (especially the fantastically bearded man). If they fire the bitch who hates chocolate, then I’ll add a star, but I’ve been going to the one in Pikes Place just to avoid her. Jesus. Send her to a therapist or something.

Their chocolates are decent especially their dark chocolates.
They are conveniently located in pioneer square right across the street where the Underground tour starts and they offer a 10% discount if you show your tour wristband so it’s a nice place to stop by before or after the tour and get a quick bite.

The chocolate was good but the guy that helped my fiancé and I was freakin awesome! He gave us a few samples and a discount. Tip this man! He also has a killer beard. We had the best time visiting Seattle from Dallas.

If you want good, expensive chocolate, there are many better places to go. Heck, Fran’s is just a half block away, but Rocky Mountain’s caramel/​candied apples are good and their «mud slide» (chocolate, peanut butter, Rice Krispies, marshmallows) is pretty darn tasty. Still, I find them to be too expensive for the quality and the store lacks any real comfort or ambiance. You’d think this franchise could do better.

I was visiting Seattle with a friend from the area and we went on the Underground tour across the street. On the way out, my friend wanted to grab a caramel apple. Normally, I am SO not a fan of big box chain stores, but hey, I am anything if not accomodating when Chocolate is on the menu.
the guy searving us was the manager, I believe. His name was an odd one, but I can’t remember it right now. Thaddeus? Magnus? SOmething cool. Anyway, he chatted us up, was totally patient with the amount of time it took us to decide on our apples (so many options!) and then when my friend (who is in the navy) got his military discount, he gave me a chocolate covered strawberry so I wouldn’t feel left out!
I mean, It makes your day when people go out of their way to be kind. THey didn’t have to, and although being a chain would make me normally give this review four stars, the way this guy made me feel at one with humanity bumps this up to a five.

Yes, they have a great assortment of chocolate, every possible combination of dark/​milk chocolate poured over nuts/​berries/​marshmallows, you name it.
Yes, they have an impressive array of elegantly ornamented caramel apples that are unfortunately almost $ 8 dollars each.
Yes, they had a woman working who, unlike the sweet nature of candy, had swallowed 100 bitter pills and acted as if we were extended family that had arrived, uninvited, at her home at 2am to stay for two weeks.
We couldn’t wait to exit the totally deserted store, making the sign of the cross and hoping we didn’t take any of her bad juju with us.

THIS PLACE IS SO DELICIOUS!!! I cannot understand why there is not more love for this place.
We have been a few times now — I’ve had thechocolate covered marshmallows, chocolate covered strawberries, caramel apples covered in chocolate and more. It is ALL absolutely delicious and so extremely tasty. We will continue to return whenever we stop by Pikes Place!
