Rocket Dog Care

Our dog LOVES spending time at Rocket Dog. She always comes home happy and it’s good to know that she’s in good hands.

We love Holly and Boone and the lovely business they have. It is clear that they love animals. I will be the first to admit that I am particular about my dog and probably even uptight. Holly and Boone have been responsive and patient with any questions I’ve had. They have made sure that my dog has fun, stays safe, and is exhausted when she comes home. This is a really solid operation, please check them out!

Rocket dog care is the only place I trust with my little Razzleberry. She has been going there since she was 7 weeks and that is her home away from home. They feel like family and I’m so thankful to have found such a great place. They update me while I’m away and tell me all about her adventures. She gets to play all day then have a slumber party with the other pups. It’s a win, win. Whether is daycare or an overnight I know she’s in great hands. Rocket Dog Care is absolutely the best Dog daycare around. The owners are great, their services are great, and it’s impossible to find this quality of service anywhere! 2 thumbs up and 5 stars to Holly and Boone.

Well I have a small dog and I am very skeptical about who I leave him with. But I trusted others reviews and I am so Lucky I did. The facility itself is clean and these people really do care. I feel at ease do to the staff.5 stars all the way!

Our dog, Dexter, has been coming to Rocket Dog for about a year and half now, and he absolutely loves it!!! He always has SO much energy but on the days he goes to daycare he comes back completely exhausted and sleeps the rest of the day.
Holly and Boone have really made this a personal and seamless experience. They come and pick the dogs up in the morning and drop them off late afternoon. They typically take the dogs to different dog parks and make sure they get plenty of time outdoors. There aren’t any kennels and they don’t keep the dogs cooped up, rather they have converted the house next door into a huge «dog» house where they can walk around, play with the other dogs and sleep on couches and beds. They always leave notes telling us what the dogs did that day, and let’s just say Dexter has quite a few friends and gets to swim, play fetch, and run around like a crazy dog. Oh, and as far as price goes, it’s very competitive and the same as many other places we looked at that don’t offer nearly as much as Rocket Dog does (pick up/​drop off, park outings, etc.).
I feel extremely lucky we found them and would HIGHLY recommend their services to anyone looking for good care for their dogs.

Boone and Holly and their crew are the best. My girl, Roja, has been going with them to Magnuson park and back to the house to hang out for almost 4 years. She always comes back tired and happy after playing with her people and fur friends. Boone and Holly are flexible, friendly, and super organized.

We moved away from Seattle over a year ago and still wish we had Rocket Dog with Boone and Holly. Ginny would get daily trips to Magnuson Park with Boone and Holly and there is just nothing to compare in the Bay Area. Prices are also so outrageous here. :(

I should have written this months ago, but I cannot say enough good things about Rocket Dog. My golden retriever, Tucker, has been going to Rocket Dog since just about the day I got him. He started out with the home visits/​potty breaks/​walks until he was fully vaccinated and could start being with the rest of the «pack.» Holly, Boone, and the rest of the crew are so great with him and the other dogs and make scheduling (even when my schedule is crazy) a dream. I love getting the updates from Holly and Boone and coming home to a tired, happy pup. It is also great seeing Tucker get picked up. You can just tell how excited he is to go and hang out with his friends.

Holly, Boone, and team have been taking care of Louie since summer of ’11. Louie was just 8 months old! They have always taken the best care of him and never had any issues or accidents.
To show the level of care they have… one time Louie must have gotten a small cut or blister near his nail and started to bleed while they were at the park. I received an email with a description of the situation and a pic showing the problem and asking if I preferred they bring Louie in for the day. It was nothing and he played the rest of the day and was fine. I really appreciated them contacting me and the level of consideration.
Louie goes to daycare twice a week and whenever we travel, we leave Louie with Boone and Holly because we know he’ll be well taken care of. The cost of their service is reasonable and the service level outstanding. Can’t say enough how much I trust them with our little guy!

Initially, I discovered Rocket Dog Care when I was searching for a place to keep our dog during our wedding weekend. Reading and visiting other dog care places made me nervous to leave him somewhere. We are so happy to have discovered Rocket Dog Care.
They take such good care of the dogs. The dogs get taken to a dog park every day and the place itself is very welcoming to dogs with a whole house for the dogs as well as a huge backyard. In the summer, they even have pools set up for the dogs in the backyard. Therefore, by the time our dog comes home he has had a fantastic day and is exhausted. I now take him their fairly often since he enjoys it so much, and it is such a relief to have somewhere we can trust to drop him off at whenever we need to leave him somewhere overnight or just for the day. By now, we have met pretty much everyone that works at Rocket Dog Care, and they all seem very nice.

I have been using Rocket Dog for about 4 years. I started with them when I had a elderly diabetic dog that needed exercise. Holly would come over twice a week and spin her around the block for an hour, she got back into shape quickly and her health improved! Do to the convenience of Rocket Dog I decided to adopt a new dog in my pack. Holly was so supportive and was always around for tips and advice, she even hang out at my home to watch the dogs interact to make sure they were getting along! They stayed with me when my dog went blind and were able to adapt to her and walked her with care. Sadly that dog has passed away so now I have moved my second dog into day care and he has the time of his life! He comes home so tired falling asleep wagging his tail. It is great to know that such caring people are on my side and can help when I am stuck at work or just when I want to reward my little one to a day of fun! I will be adopting another dog as I know I have Rocket Dog in my corner. Could not recommend them more!!!

I can’t praise Rocketdog enough! Holly and Boone not only love dogs, they’re incredibly nice to people too! I had a messy family emergency that forced me to make last-​minute travel plans and find a place to board my Havanese puppy. Holly and Boone were incredibly understanding, flexible and helpful. I did a lot of digging around and research, and Rocketdog is the only place where I’d feel comfortable leaving my dog.

We’ve been taking our dog Ginny to Rocket Dog for over 3 months now. She started as 5 month old puppy and she’s loved it every day. The other day when Holly dropped her off, she didn’t want to come in the house. It meant the fun day was over!
Besides our girl having fun there, what does Rocket Dog offer that other places don’t? First, their prices are super competitive. I never saw anyone cheaper. Second, they offer to pick up and drop off, which is incredibly convenient. Third, she comes home much cleaner than she did at other doggy day care places. Fourth, Boone and Holly are super flexible, which means adding/​canceling last minute appointments is possible. And five, Boone and Holly are awesome. They’ll love your dog like it is their own.

Fantastic job. Boone and Holly are the best. After having a bad experience with our Boxer pup at a dog ranch (which shall remain nameless), Rocket Dog restored our faith in doggie day care and boarding. They treat your pup like a member of their growing family. Daily updates with photos let you know what your best friend has been up to. We couldn’t be happier. Fannie will be a regular for day long excursions to the park and for long weekends and more extended vacation stays. 5 Stars all the way! Thanks, Rocket Dog!

I am very happy with Rocket Dog and so are my two small dogs– they start squealing as we drive toward their neighborhood and cannot wait to see Boone and Holly in the morning. It’s nuts.
Rocket Dog is a family business with very reasonable rates for the amount of work and menu of services that they provide. They limit the intake of dogs for reasonable pack sizes.
Amongst other services, Rocket Dog offers an off the leash day care adventure service, so my dogs get to go to their favorite place in the world — Magnuson off the leash park, and then off Rocket Dog’s back yard for more recreation.
Holly and Boone work really hard, it’s been a pleasure to give them my business, and my dogs love them.
The BEST part (for me at least) is the photos they send at the end of the day showing my dogs having fun running with a pack and fetching. I don’t have to wonder what happend today because of the reports that they send. Those pictures make my day.
Oddly enough the dogs come home very clean (and tired).
It’s really a great service and a good fit for dogs that need to burn off some steam for the day.

We absolutely LOVE using Rocket Dog as our doggie daycare! Our dog, Roma, started going to Rocket Dog when she was about 4 months old (September 2010). We could not ask for a better couple (Holly and Boone) to take care of our puppy and make sure she gets exercise in a variety of ways. Roma gets to enjoy Greenlake walks, neighborhood walks, backyard play, AND trips to the dog park! She loves playing with her buddies and loves Holly, Boone, Caden, Denali, and Emma so much (and now Jude, their new little addition)!! I have always appreciated the time Holly and Boone take to tell us what Roma did during the day (via a newsletter with pictures they email us for each day she is there). I honestly couldn’t think of a better doggie daycare than Rocket Dog — their pack is a wonderful group of dogs!

Our anxious and escape-​prone coonhound has put us through the emotional ringer. When Maggie flunked out of her last daycare for hopping their 6ft fence we didn’t know what to do. Her anxiety was crippling our social life and emptying our pocket books. Luckily we found Rocket Dog!
When Maggie started going to Rocket Dog we noticed a quick change in her overall demeanor. Boone and Holly quickly earned her trust and respect. Maggie comes home tired, happy and completely at ease. I can honestly say they’ve enhanced her life and ours.
Daycare has changed from a necessity to a place where we love taking Maggie for her own enjoyment. And in case you were wondering how your dog spent her day, just read the daily report they write up for you including a few iPhotos of your dog.
They truly go above and beyond, but the best part is that they don’t see it that way. They just provide the care they would want for their own dogs. They are really amazing people. I can’t recommend Rocket Dog enough.

Holly and Boone are the best doggie caregivers you’ll ever know! They provide excellent customer service and really exceed your expectations. Our dog literally smiles when they come to pick him up for his beloved Marymoor park runs. When we board Thomas with them we feel as if we are leaving him with family.
