Reglaze Window and Installations

Did a awesome job. Replaced all the windows in my building. Sliding doors are not standard doors. The place stay warmer. Reflects most of the sun. We order the airflow on top of the windows too. I recommend Reglaze windows.

These gentlemen are top notch! Pete comes out to give you an honest, friendly estimate and discusses what would fit your home best. Then the crew shows up and it just so happens to be the owners! Our window install went smoothly, quickly, and we even had a custom window cut in that turned out better than we could have imagined… Highly recommend Reglaze!

I am so pleased with the work that Pete’s Reglaze did with my windows. They were extremely professional and courteous. It’s been a few months since we’ve had the work done and I’m so happy with the quality of the work done. My house feels so much warmer in the winter now that I’m not dealing with aluminum single-​paned windows!

Reglaze did a wonderful job replacing all of the windows in my co-​op unit. The job had a few challenges, given that I live on the top floor of an 85-​year-​old building without an elevator.
In less than two days, Wayne and his crew pulled out the single-​paned aluminum windows that came with the place, and replaced them with double-​paned, double-​hung vinyl windows. The new windows are an enormous improvement in terms of noise reduction, heat retention, and ease of cleaning.
The Reglaze crew was quick, clean, friendly, and did the work on schedule. Their attention to detail is outstanding, and Wayne spent extra time and effort to replace a wooden kitchen window frame with matching mahogany that looks fantastic around the new window.
Overall, I had a great experience working with Reglaze, and will recommend them to anyone needing window replacement work.

PURE AWESOME!
I interviewed several major window installers in the local Seattle area and chose Reglaze after very careful consideration based on research, price and my BS meter. Of course everyone says their windows and installation process are the best but no one has 35 years of local service to reference from the same installers and same business owners over that entire period.
The job was beautifully done in a timely manner. They were professional and a very likable team. The two owners were here. One installs and the other is a carpenter with expert touch. They also had a 3^rd guy who did most of the caulking and tear out.
All our windows had ugly tile for casements and since it’s a 1955 built house there was water damage under some of them. They rebuilt the entire window encasement’s with fur on the inside and cedar on the outside. The detail work was exceptional (see included pictures)!
I must have complimented them a dozen times during their work. They picked up as they went and made sure not to let my dog out.
Conclusion:
When looking for window installation you’d be hurting yourself not to check with these guys first.

It was a pure pleasure to work with Reglaze from the first email to the finished product. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone!
We ordered a number of new windows and the install was going to take two days. The crew was quick, thoughtful/​respectful of our things and at the end of each day the house was spotless. They were so great to work with and very experienced.
We had an issue (someone visiting bent the screen to the point it would not fit in the window) with one of the screens in our newly installed window and needed to order a new screen. Pete had it ordered and delivered to us within a week.
Everyone of the team goes above and beyond.

From start to finish these guys have been nothing short of amazing.
1) Great customer service. It all started by them calling me back! Great follow through.
2) They were professional, & clean. Upfront with the bid.
3) They got the job done and did it well. The Milgard windows look awesome!
4) Special nod to Pete — who sent me the paperwork, pre-​filled out, for the Milgard rebate; and even stamped the envelope for me!
In short… I can’t recommend them highly enough. I’ll be a repeat customer & soon for the next few windows I need replaced in this 1909 Craftsman.

Wayne, Craig and Pete are as good as it gets. I got a few other quotes and while they were not the cheapest, they were the only company where the owners actually install the windows. I had a very specific idea of what I wanted in mind as far as trim around the windows. However, I was not in town to see the work being done. Once Wayne sent me pictures and I let him know that I wanted a less traditional and a more streamlined look… he changed the trim and then made sure I was happy with the final look. He came back and completed the job to 100% of my satisfaction. Great team. Honest. Reliable. That almost doesn’t exist in the contracting world.

This is the happiest I have been with paying for a service in a long time! I am very picky and would never leave a positive review even for reasonably average to good work. I have to be impressed by the whole product to leave a good review.
I have an old cape cod style home with some windows so old, they were painted in place by a previous owner. I could not imagine how Reglaze could make it look good. I am really amazed — the new windows look like they are original to the home — the windows do not look like an after thought. Wayne and Craig even replaced a rotten windowsill.
These guys are really amazing. From my first interaction with Pete by email — he was to the point (no sales pitch at all), he answered emails promptly, he gave a detailed quote and was very quick with coming back with changes to the quote (adding an extra window) and he kept in touch with confirming date of work. The work was done by Wayne and Craig — no inexperienced workers in this company — they were very professional, on time, efficient, quiet, cleaned up the work environment completely.

My wife, the real boss in the house (duh!), was the primary contact for the Reglaze staff, and she had an excellent experience communicating with the contractors. Excellent value, excellent service, excellent work!

Pete and his crew did an outstanding job again! They know older homes, and how to replace windows. We have a 1949 brick home with single pane windows. These guys have the experience installing new double pane windows that look original. Great price, fast service and a quality job…

Pete is knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. We contacted them about replacing several of our windows, but he said WE DID NOT NEED TO. Our windows are fine for at least another 5 years or so, we just need to make some environmental changes to prevent condensation along the aluminum frame. Of course the final decision is up to us if we want to replace them, but our windows are not leaking. His honesty was greatly appreciated. If/​when we ever do replace our windows, we’ll be calling Pete at Reglaze.

We replaced all the major windows in our house last week, and decided to go with Reglazed after meeting with Peter. He was very friendly, knowledgable and realistic for us and our home. He didn’t seem pushy at all or like a car salesman (unlike another local company who we got an estimate from).
When it came time to do the work, the team was incredibly friendly and mindful of our house, pets, etc. Our timing wasn’t all that great (middle of December, 30-​degree temps) but we didn’t hear one grumble or complaint as they efficiently got the job done in two days. It wasn’t a perfectly easy job and some adjustments on-​the-​fly were needed, and they handled them all in a professional and satisfactory manner.
I would definitely go with Reglazed again. We’re very happy with our new windows.

I would have loved to work with Reglaze but Pete called 40 minutes after our scheduled appointment to let me know he was running late. This is a terrible first impression to make and doubly frustrating for me seeing as I had rearranged my entire work schedule to accomodate this appointment time.
I’m sure they do great work but I’m unwilling to work with contractors who can’t even practice the most basic of courtesies: being on time or, if late, calling prior to our appointment time to alert me to your tardiness. It’s crazy to me that Pete (Reglaze contact) did not notice at 3:30 that he should have a) left his prior appointment so he could be on time for ours or b) at least call me to say he’s running late and ask to reschedule.
Bad form.

We had a small job (one window) but Pete and the team were great! Very prompt at responding to calls & questions and great details and options for our window. They took care of everything in such a professional manner. When we replace more windows we will definitely call Reglaze.

Reglaze Rocks! They are knowledgeable, professional, clean and fast. We love our new windows so much! It is so nice to be able to open our windows for some fresh air and the noise difference is so noticeable, we can barely here the bus going by now! The apartment building I live in had all of its windows replaced last week by Reglaze. They were wonderful! They got each apartment done in one day, so no dragging out the noise and inconvenience. They were also very organized and we each knew well ahead of time which day they were going to be in our unit. They cleaned up after themselves wonderfully! The long carpeted stairs in my entryway, which are a nightmare to keep clean, were MUCH cleaner when Craig left than when he arrived that day and the floors around my windows were very clean when he left as well. I decided that window day was a good day to take my kitty for a kitty bath and Craig even helped me get my kitty into the cat carrier. He was very polite and friendly, and my windows look great! …I still can’t believe he vacuumed my stairs for me!

I cannot sing Reglaze’s praises enough!!! They replaced all but maybe 4 windows in my house. All of the windows they replaced were the originals from 1905! They had to do some serious woodworking to recreate the frames, and did an incredible job! As others have said, the whole process has been amazing. They are professional, efficient, clean, honest… I found them on Unilocal so thank you everyone for your great reviews! I now have a warm house and pretty windows! I literally wanted to hug them when they left! I am over the moon happy with the outcome and will never use anyone else. I HIGHLY recommend them!
