Progressive Therapeutic Massage

My wife gifted me a 3 massage coupon from Amazon local. While I had initially looked at darrens calendar it was full I let it go for a couple of months. I then reached out to him and he mentioned he will honor the coupons even after they expire for the deal. Way to go Darien.
My first appointment I did not know what to expect but Darren is the one of the best massage therapists I have ever met. He takes the time to listen to you, and finds the right spots and goes deep.
I think it is unfair for people who use Groupon to assume that you will get same day /​same week service. Do you realize that the provider gets only half of the deal money. Try getting a massage for 3 hours for 40 $ on the same day anywhere.
I liked the initial couple of massages from Darren so much that I became a regular customer. His normal packages are very reasonable and he makes time for you even when you are late. I highly recommend Darren and PTM if you are stressed or in pain

Darren (the masseuse) was booked solid for about a month — which speaks to the quality of his work more than any review could. The wait gave me ample time to build anticipation as well as expectation. My experience did not disappoint. The atmosphere and his easy manner, along with his openness to feedback, made this a completely relaxing and satisfying experience. This guy knows his stuff. In the last two nights following my session, I have slept like a log. Thank you, Darren.

Darren is the best! I was introduced to him from an Amazon local deal… and he is amazing!!! His office is near public transit and centrally located. His office environment is warm, inviting, and calming. He’s approachable and caring, taking the time to make sure you walk out of the office feeling better than when you walked in. I’m so happy to have found such a kind and intuitive healer!

I purchased a Groupon to try this place. It did take months to get in as so many people must have purchased Groupons. I have been to so many masseuses throughout my life and Darren was one of the best. His place is quaint & he has skill that many masseuse lack. As a small business owner myself, I want to address a couple of negative reviews. To expect a large business to take a Groupon immediately is somewhat reasonable. But, to be so demanding & critical of such a hands-​on, one person operation is so Prima Donna. If you can’t appreciate the predicament small business owners face, you should stick to medium and large sized corporations’ Groupons.

I got a groupon as well in hopes of scheduling a massage in the near future and that does not mean 3 months from now on. I have a busy unpredictable schedule planning 3 months ahead is not possible. I am very disappointed in this scheduling issue and this place should not be offering groupons at all, if there are no available times in the schedule. I am contacting groupon to get my money back and suggesting to discontinue such crappy deals.

I would love to give an accurate review of his massage skills but he won’t accept a Groupon customer for the next four months, although he is apparently scheduling regular paying customers. When I buy a Groupon I don’t except to be treated less than a regular paying customer, but apparently with this LMP, you are. Also expecting someone to know their schedule 4 months out is kind of ridiculous. Feels almost like a scam actually. Super unfortunate.

I found Darren through Groupon. I like a deep tissue massage, and usually I have to tell the masseuse to increase the pressure, but Darren found that perfect pressure right away. I loved how he would massage two parts of my body at once, it really helped things release. I could tell that he wasn’t just going through the motions but rather felt my body and musculature and let that guide him through my massage. It was honestly the best massage I have ever had. I am not going anywhere else ever again.

I found Darren through Groupon. He is fantastic. He is a great masseuse and has a very calming energy. His massage space is calming and quiet. He’s flexible with his scheduling, and it is easy to schedule online.

I have had pro massages with at least 15+ different people. Darren is better than all of them combined. He is the Michael Jordan of massage. The Gretzky. The Pele. He is professional, caring, and tailors your massage to what you are looking for and what will help you. Great guy and ¹⁰⁄₁₀ masseuse.

Darren is GREAT! I found out about this place through Groupon and was very impressed by not only the services but the knowledge of Darren. You can tell that he has studied to be a healer and he truly is… this was much better than any massage I’ve ever gotten at an expensive spa, a 5 star hotel or a chiropractor. So excited to make my next appointment!

I’ve never had a masseuse ask as many questions or listen to me as much as Darren. Also, the best massage I’ve ever gotten. Much better than what you can get at spas and five star hotels. I can never touch my toes usually, when he was done I was so loose I could put my palms on the floor without stretching. Great location on Queen Anne with great parking.

I went to Darren after purchasing a Groupon in 2013. I had been buying a number of Groupons trying to find a great massage therapist while also saving a few bucks. After having visited four different massage therapists in Seattle, I had an appointment scheduled with Darren and ended up running about 15 minutes late because of unexpected traffic and Apple maps issues. He kindly let me reschedule with no penalty so I could get the full hour massage.
When I showed up for my new appointment, he was cordial and even apologized for the trouble I had previously. During the massage, he spent a specific amount of time on my pain areas whereas most therapists I’ve found just do their routine and often neglect the areas that really hurt.
Darren even spent an extra 20 minutes on me to help relieve some tension and charged me nothing extra. I will definitely be returning and have no need to purchase any other groupon!

I first met Darren when I was still working at a bank and he was doing the chair massage for us. When I subsequently got in a car accident, I didn’t know anyone who was a massage therapist. Darren was who I called, and even now, though I live in London, I go back to Darren when I’m in Seattle.
His methods aren’t like any other that I’ve had before. However, everytime, I some how manage to fall into a deep sleep and come out feeling completely relaxed and my back never aches. I continually went back to Darren because I had really bad posture and always held my stress in my upper back. Even after running half /​full marathons, Darren has been my absolute savior.

I was referred here by a friend after I had been complaining about my lingering lower back pain. I had been to chiropractors in the past, but was looking to try something different this time. After an hour of treatment I could not even describe how much better I feel. It’s one week later and the pain still hasn’t resurfaced, which is rare because it always came back within a week after visiting a chiropractor.
