Fantastic food, the house special is incredible and the Lasagna is one of the best I’ve had anywhere in Seattle, couple that with great service and this place is an absolute must visit. I highly recommend it.

Their Greek Spaghetti is possibly the best pasta dish ever created. A pile of noodles topped with browned butter, mizithra, and whole roasted garlic cloves(lots of them). If you’re a garlic fan, this one’s for you. It comes with garlic bread and salad, so it makes a filling meal. The Bleu cheese dressing that comes on the accompanying salad is fantastic, and the salad is smothered in toppings. Can I underline that? Completely smothered. Their pizza is also awesome; they put a solid inch tall on toppings on every time. We get the mushroom, coppicola, and onion when we go, but every pizza I’ve had there is delicious(and we’ve been going some 7 years). The tables out front are great on a summer evening. It can get loud on evenings and weekends later than 6 because of Harrys Bar which is connected.

This is really Chicago style Deep dish. I was a bit surprised by that, but I’ve come to understand Seattle pizza has no personal style. They borrow from all over. Personally I like thin crust, but whatthehey. We ordered the veggie with a pepperoni add on. It was stocked with stuff and a nice layer of cheese on top. All in all good pizza in a good environment in a lazy Capitol Hill locale.

Artisan crafted combination of succulent pepperoni(yes, I said succulent. Explanation to follow), tangy sauce, plush crust and flaky cheese. The previous statement may not make any comprehensive sense to you, but this pizza is fabulous and flawlessly made. I can honestly say, this is the best pizza I’ve had. I have eaten pizza across the pond in London, and across the nation in Chicago. Hands down, the best. I haven’t reviewed a restaurant this highly in the 2 years I’ve been reviewing. Okay. End rant. The staff are glowing with personality and semi-professional appearance. The restaurant has a fairly popular bar attached, and it’s summertime, so the dress code is totally excusable. The pizza, as previously stated, was bar none. The pepperoni is think-sliced, cooked to perfection atop seemingly endless layers of cheese. The sauce has the tangy, acidic bite needed to cut the fat of the cheeses and the fluffy crust. Overall, I’m very impressed.

Delicious. We shared the special with half pesto and half white. If you can eat it cold, that means the pizza is good. Menu is huge and enticing.

This is a cool pizza place! I thoroughly enjoyed my time here, even though it was short lived and I didn’t personally order anything. It is a very well designed restaurant. It’s super open and inviting, with this great lounge area for big groups or multiple small groups. The bar is large and there are many tables. It wasn’t busy when we were there, so we took over the lounge. The couch and chairs were all very comfortable and well taken care of. My friends ordered two pizzas. The one I had a slice of had pepperoni, feta, and giant pieces of sausage on top. My other friend got a pineapple, mushroom, and onion pizza. I hate mushrooms, so I stayed far away from that one. These pizzas are super cool looking. They almost feel like deep dishes because they are thick and crisp a layer of cheese on top of the toppings makes it looks like a deep dish. It’s a uniquely styled pizza that is as cool to look at as it is tasty to eat. Everything about the flavor of the pizza was on point. The pepperoni was plentiful and a minor kick to it, the feta added a deeper cheese flavor(I LOVE feta on pizza), and the sauce and normal cheese was hearty, well done, and durable enough to hold the ingredients together. The crust was toast-like. Very crispy and perfect for dipping. Just the way I like it. My only complaint was that the sausage pieces were too big and too few. They needed to be smaller and more spread apart so I didn’t just sometimes get pieces of it in bites and sometimes not. They were practically meatball sized. I plan on coming back to this place eventually and getting a pizza to myself. I won’t get sausage again(though I’m not a huge sausage fan, on pizza, to begin with), but I will definitely order the pep/feta combo and maybe add olives to it.

4.5 stars! Olympia Pizza is such a great spot to get your pizzas. Rarely do I ever go out for pizza because we typically make our own dough and bake our preferred toppings our own at home, but this place’s pizza far exceeds what we can make ourselves! We ordered a medium Olympia Special Pizza(with some chicken, cheese, pesto, onions, tomato, garlic and shredded pepperoni) to share and were not disappointed. The pizza was made to order and had a very crispy crust to it despite being a deep dish pizza. I’ve always preferred deep dish pizza over thin crust and was very impressed with how tasty and crunchy the crust was(many places don’t get it right and end up with crusts that are just either too doughy or chewy). The toppings on their pizza were also generous and the size of the pizza was big. We only finished half the pizzas and took the rest home to eat as leftover dinners the next day(yup, their leftover pizza still tasted good even after chilling them in a fridge and reheating them in the oven a day after!). –0.5 star for service. Although our waiter was nice, we were waiting quite a long while for him to stop by so that we could pay the bill. Overall, definitely outdo other pizzas nearby Capitol Hill areas and I’d definitely prefer Olympia Pizza over any other pizza places I’ve had in Capitol Hill!

I certainly miss the plethora of high-quality, low-priced Italian joints in NYC and other parts East, so if you’re a Seattle native and grew up eating overcooked pasta and doughy, chewy pizza, you might like this place. Atmosphere is fine, you can usually get seated rather quickly. Service is pretty bad but at least the servers smile. There is some outdoor seating, which is nice. Good luck finding any parking, though… you’re better off walking here or taking a bus(although you really have no reason to take the trouble of getting on a bus to get to this restaurant). The food is so/so… I usually get the pasta because it’s decently edible. The spaghetti with meat sauce and chicken parm are both pretty ok; nothing that will blow your socks off but if you’re hungry it will fill you up. I’ve had the pizza(and my friends usually order it) but when it comes to their pie, I wish I had more hands so I could give it four thumbs down! The pizza is this strange Seattle-style(I call it Seattle-style because it seems you can get overpriced, chewy, bready pizza all over the place here) pie that’s WAY overpriced, usually burned on the top and so chewy(chewy, burnt cheese on top, yuck) and soggy that I have to force myself to eat more than one piece. No reason to go here unless everywhere else is closed…

Love this place, is nice clean, parking right at front, quiet, but had good music going. My daughter loved the pizza and hot chocolate. I loved the pizza. Great variety of drinks and pasta. Definetally come here.

Oh man, I love this place. I was alone this day so I ordered a dinner salad and one of their single-person pizzas. Both were awesome. Sometimes I just order one of their salads and they are enough for a very filling and less-bad-for-you meal. It’s a treat to come to this place. The location I originally fell in love with is the Wallingford restaurant. The two locations have a totally different vibe. The Walligford location is a quiet, family type place. The Capitol Hill one is darker, trendier and has a bar attached to it. I wish I lived closer to these two places!

I lived only a few blocks away for years and tried them for the first time yesterday! Great spot for very good pizza and drinks. Great for small groups and we saw a few folks stop in for take out — good idea! Service was somewhat slow but did not at all take away from the experience.

On vacation with my homie and we stumbled upon this little gem of a pizza diner and awesome bar. Random décor that works well, interesting characters at the bar(In a Good way), friendly service and really yummy food. would def be back. The«small pizza» is enough for two in my opinion. Good deal! Strong martini. How can we go wrong.

We have walked by multiple times but have never been in the mood for Italian, so last weekend was our first visit with my mom who was in town. We arrived on a Saturday evening and were seated right away. Our waitress was obviously new because she didn’t know the menu all that well and didn’t know which credit cards they accepted but she was very friendly. Everyone enjoyed their dishes and the portions were generous. I ordered chicken parmesan and it was pretty much all chicken, a little bit of pasta. I prefer more pasta and less chicken, but I can respect a restaurant for doing their own version. I wouldn’t day it was my most amazing Italian meal, but it sufficed. I would come back again, but try a different dish. My roommate loves the varieties of pizza they have, so maybe that’s next for us!

I LOVE this place! They have by far the best pizza I have ever had, I crave their food and come in at least once a week. My favorite server is Zara, she is so sweet and always gives me an amazing dining experience! I have had other servers here and they just aren’t the same, she’s AWESOME! I recommend any of their salads with the Greek dressing, and my favorite pizza combo is chicken, artichoke heart and pepperoni! If you’ve never been here you have to try it!!!

Olympia Pizza is the best Italian on the hill! Call ahead for a table !! The menu has a ton of your typical Italian entrees, and some that are not as common. They have no problem making any of their dishes ‘carb free’ whenever possible. The portions are HUGE — the two of us can split a small greek salad and a bread-less chicken pesto sandwich — with iced tea — only costs $ 25 including tip !! The service can be hit or miss(but this is with all of Seattle) — you go for the food, and deal with the service. Some of these waitresses are deluded that they should get a larger tip for crappy service. This is the only thing preventing a 5 star review. We eat here at least once a month — it’s so good, we don’t want to wear it out!

Cheese exploding everywhere. On my pizza and in my salad. Never had so much cheese before. Could this possibly be a dream? Ordering my salad, I had no idea they were going to pile shredded cheese on it? Tasted good, but I felt slightly guilty, when our over flowing cheesy pizza came our way. I’d say their pizza is about ½″ thick of cheese? Plus we ordered feta with spinach. OMG!!! If you’re like me, lactose intolerant but still addicted, make sure to pop your lactose pills or you’ll be asking for one heck of a night. Place was super busy. Prices. Side salad was about $ 5. Our large pizza I believe was $ 25? We had leftovers. My belly for sure was protruding out after this meal. But in a happy way.

OHMYGOSH! How is it possible that we haven’t been to this place in years? The hubby and I used to come here all the time it seems like– when we were dating. Walking in the door was just lovely… dimmed lighting with red Christmas lights, the smells of red wine, garlic and pasta wafting through the dining room and a hearty welcome from the kitchen. Ah yes, hello old friend! We were craving spaghetti, it was almost 9pm at night, what’s open and sounds good? The Olympia Spaghetti House! Parking wasn’t too bad on a Wednesday night. We looped the block just once before finding a spot. There was no wait — it’s «seat yourself» seating — so we promptly plopped down in a comfy booth in the back. Wow! There’s a whole second dining room now?! With a giant antique western looking bar in the next room? It’s gorgeous! How long has that been there? It’s been way too long since we were regulars… but coming back was like putting on a favorite old comfy pair of slippers… soft, cozy, warm and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back again — and very soon! The vibe of this place is so laid back and friendly while being just fancy enough that it still feels like a «night out.» Such a great combo! The waitstaff are friendly, personable and very fast! Timing was perfect between the drinks, the dinner salads and the pasta. We both had a glass of the house red — a nice bold but still some sweetness chianti type. The hubby had spaghetti with meat sauce. While he said it was good — and he seemed to inhale it quickly — I have to admit I was completely overwhelmingly in love with my Greek Spaghetti to pay much attention to the meat sauce dish on the table. Greek spaghetti with mizithra cheese, browned butter and roasted garlic(delightful whole cloves of roasted garlic heaven!) Seriously, I’m not sure I can even finish this review without running to the fridge to devour my leftovers from dinner last night! The dinner portions are huge– come hungry and ready to eat!

Pizza should always taste this good. My pizza craving kicked in and I decided Dominos wouldn’t make the cut — nor would any other typical chain. Entrusting Unilocal,I came across Olympia Pizza. Called in, placed an order for pick-up(no delivery here), and 15 minutes later my meal was ready. The restaurant smells like glorious carb overload, and that’s just what I wanted. My pizza was being pulled out of the oven just a minute after I arrived, so I got it piping hot. This is not your usual pizza… I was in for a shock when I opened the box to find what seemed to be a hybrid from Chicago-style pizza(which I can’t say I’m the biggest fan of) and your dough-ey pizza. It’s dough covered with sauce, cheese, and toppings, then covered with more cheese that is baked to a slight crisp. I immediately thought I’d hate it… but I am SO glad that I tried something new because it was delicious! The $ 19 pepperoni and pineapple medium pizza had 10 slightly smaller-than-average slices… but because of the thickness of the pizza I could have gone with a small.
