My regular chiropractor was on vacation and I was in pain. I called several doctors to find somebody willing to see me on a Saturday. Dr. Early was kind enough to let me come in at the last minute and gave me a great adjustment. Now I can enjoy my weekend!

I scheduled an appt for tuesday 6 pm with dr. early. When i got there, with time to spare, i was told my appt was for wednesday which it wasn’t since dr. early himself wrote down the appt. Instead of making room to see me since i moved my schedule around to accomodate (i was going to be a new patient, first time there) i was told i had to reschedule because they were expecting a new patient. Very unprofessional and disorganized. Lost my business and it was going to be a lot.

Dr. Early is well-​educated, respected, and most certainly an expert in the chiropractic field with over 13 years of experience. I have found significant relief of my physical pain with him as my provider. I would indeed recommend his services to anyone seeking to alleviate any nerve issues, spinal structural concerns, or physical ailments overall.

Early was more interested in my financial commitment to his treatment plan than he was to helping me ease my pain. He refused to treat me unless I would come every day for two weeks. Thankfully, my pain dissipated after 24 hours after seeing him because I iced the area to reduce the inflammation. When I told him that, he wished me luck with my ice pack. He is the kind of practioner that gives other chiropractors a bad name. Thankfully, I have been to a chiropractor before so I know there are good ones out there.

I can always get an appt within 15 – 30 minutes of the time I request, and they never keep me waiting. If I arrive early, they fit me in as soon as possible, and if I’m a little late, they don’t cancel my appt like some places would – they still fit me in as soon as possible.
When I started going to see Dr Early about six weeks ago, I had a lot of upper back and neck stiffness, a couple of pinched nerves, and pronounced weakness in my right side. I’m so much stronger and more comfortable now! My chronic «stress» headaches are all but non-​existent. And best of all, the care is actually really affordable, which I didn’t expect. I’m so glad I tried chiropractic.

I have been to a number of chiropractors through the years. Dr. Early is probably the most skilled of all that I have personally seen. And, unlike my last chiropractor, they didn’t ding me $ 25 for forgetting an appointment, but understood that life happens.
I came in for an auto accident, but when I mentioned i had a hip injury due to training for a marathon a few yrs ago, he began doing a little work on that each time, and was able to do what my MD, PT, etc had been unable to do. Now I’m back to running!
The reception staff is friendly, and remember my name (I’m in 1−2x a week, but still).

Maybe its just chiropractic care in general, but i am a big fan of this place! Dr. Early is very enthusiastic and kind. It’s always easy to get in for an adjustment, I usually call just before I leave the house to let them know I am coming. I feel 10 times better than I did before I started at Sound Chiropractic

Full spinal adjustments mean getting more for my money and better results. Dr. Early is great at explaining what’s going on in a way that makes sense without being condescending. I just went in for my 2-​month check– up and the results have been amazing! I have greater mobility and range of motion in my neck and my migraine severity has greatly improved since seeing Dr. Early. Great location and fair pricing. :)

I’ve been afraid of going to the chiropractor since I had a bad experience as a child. Dr. Early not only helped me with my neck and back problems but he also helped me to get over my fears. I look forward to going to the office every week!

I came to Sound Chiropractic about 3 months ago with back pain (shocking, I know). I’ve been had Chiropractic care before, and have had both very good and very negative experiences with them. The issue I had with my back wasn’t responding to the normal ice and ibuprofen, so I looked on Unilocal to see who was rated highly in Northgate.
Pros: Very thorough initial exam — manual testing, x-​rays, intake, range of motion testing — the works. Not everyone does that, and it was nice to get a baseline and have data to compare to later. The office staff is very helpful, were able to make calls to my insurance for me, and generally made it a pleasant experience to come in. As for the Chiropractic manipulation or «skill» — it seemed adequate. I’ve had worse and I’ve had better, but certainly no complaints or concerns at all about Dr. Early’s skill. Keep in mind I’m not a Chiropractor myself, so I can only evaluate from a patient’s perspective.
They are also very flexible with scheduling and with last minute changes. I’ve got a long commute home, so my frequent arrival either 15min early or 10min late depending on traffic was always accommodated without complaint
Cons: As part of the intake, I had to sign a «contract» for my health that agreed that I would do my part to get well and that the DC would do his part. Oh, and there was the amount of the whole treatment plan laid out in dollars right above where I signed. It was exactly like the experience I had buying a new car, where I had to sign the offer and the salesman ran back to check with his manager. I know it wasn’t a legal contract, but he idea of it just turned me off.
Additionally, there is a required Monday evening «class» that new patients have to take. It’s basically a PowerPoint pitch about how great Chiropractic is. Along with a request to provide referrals. That was a universal experience I had with Dr. Early. I can think of no appointment where I was not solicited for referrals, asked about doing a Chiropractic demo at my office, asked to participate in a «contest» to where my referrals would get me tickets to win an iPad, etc.
I was also asked to provide a great review on Unilocal,and he was even handing out instructions at the office on how to create an account on Unilocal and encouraging everyone to put a 5 star review. Which is why so many of the previews for this business are filtered.
Bottom line: Nice people. Quality of care was acceptable — he forgot on several occasions about promises to show exercises, follow up, etc., but we’re all human. The treatment was overshadowed by the sales pitch, so If you don’t mind getting the hard sell every time you’re in, you’ll get the care you need.

WOW! Best Chiropractor ever! I’ve gone to a bunch of different chiropractors and none of them even come close to comparing to the magic chiro skills of Dr. Early! I used to get insane migraines he made them go away, completely! I had a knot in my shoulder that felt like a flaming golf ball. I thought it’s a muscle thing what can a chiropractor do? Well Dr. Early has so far reduced it to a pebble sized knot by adjusting things I never knew could be adjusted. Back pain, hip pain whatever he is fixing it! A-​MA-​ZING!

I first heard of Sound during their annual food drive. The doctor came to my place of business to see if we could help reward those who donated. Realizing that he really had a passion for the community and the cause, not only did we pitch in, when I felt neck pain and headaches, I didn’t think twice about where to go. I’m glad I did. The initial exam was professional and educating and the treatment has removed my headaches and relieved my neck pain. His staff is always smiling and has been able to work around a busy and changing schedule. Thanks Doc!

Why can’t I give them 4.5 stars?
-.5 because they are upstairs. Why do I have to walk up stairs to see my chiropractor? This is the most painful part of seeing them…
I was in a car accident earlier in the week. Hit n Run no less, with absolutely no clue/​help as to how to go about getting better. I called the chiro recommended by my local doctor, and they didn’t want to see me for over a week. Bah.
I decided to search Unilocal for something new. Scary when coming to chiro’s, but I read a lot of reviews and did the best I could…
Dr. Early himself answered the phone, and in addition to being sympathetic, wound up giving up his lunch break to see me immediately that day. He spent over an hour creating an extensive report and plan, taking xrays and in depth questions to figure out where my real issues are.
He also is a doctor that appears to be very much about «those who help themselves are better helped», and really stresses that my treatment is my responsibility. I really like this, it makes me much more confident he’s going to do everything he can for me, but that ultimately, my healing is my job.
I also experienced Mel, a massage therapist out of his office. She was truly so gentle to my thrashed muscles that I didn’t realize she was doing much — but the difference from when I laid down to when I stood up was phenomenal. She has incredible hands and talent and I highly recommend her! My other massages in the past have consisted of beating my muscles to a pulp and calling it good — her gentle, soothing, stretching hands really seemed to have helped though.
Another note should be added for Mandy, the receptionist, very kind and prompt. I know the first day I was in I was on pain killers, so not fully there, and she never made me feel stupid or awkward. She’s always greeted me by name, and has a good sense of humor make you feel more at ease.
All over, a great staff, and so far, a great experience. I feel very fortunate to have called this office and received such wonderful care.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Paul Early, Chiropractor, of Sound Chiropractic Center. While I’m not a current patient of Paul’s, I nevertheless felt compelled to let it be known that I found him to be an engaging, smart, honest and easy-​going guy. Such qualities I’m sure serve him well in his profession no doubt. If ever I am in need of a good chiropractor… Paul Early is the man! See you around, Paul, and thanks for the business.

The staff members at SCC are such amazing and wonderful people. From the minute I step in the door I am welcomed by Mandy who is just a doll and so gracious.
Dr. Early is a great chiropractor who I trust and have a very high regard for. He is extremely helpful, professional and thorough. He also has sense of humor that makes you feel REALLY comfortable.

My lower back and hip were hurting so bad that I sometimes couldn’t even roll out of bed. I was on muscle relaxers and pain killers. I don’t need any meds and I don’t have pain anymore! YAY! Dr. Early is really amazing. I love how he explains exactly what is going on. I think it’s great that he has a class to educate his new patients. The office is comfortable and the receptionist Mandy is great and always greets you with a smile and calls you by name. The scheduling is flexible and there’s plenty of parking. I really couldn’t have had a better experience!

This place put me on my feet after both my back and hip went out… I was going to another chiropractor who pretty much wasn’t helpful at all. And I think they might have made me worse… but here, it was an absolutely delightful experience.
I came here for the first time during the last year’s awful winter. It was the only chiropractor place open in town, I’m sure, on that day. Dr. Early took X-​Rays, did a thorough exam, took a thorough history, and started me on my way… he was encouraging when he had to be, too — and approached my health en total (rather than just paying attention to my back). They now also have an excellent massage therapist.
This place is also very affordable, and they take various insurance plans.
Another kudos to them for valuing allopathic medicine.
