MAKERS

Just called to inquire about physical production facilities, and a real maker space. This is NOT a maker space, but a regular co-​working office space. Be aware!

This place is remarkable! The owners are amazing and accommodating and the workspace itself is fabulous great for your day to day work activities, stopping in to catch up on a few projects, meetings, and even events! Check it out for yourself!

Super cute event space! Though the intended purpose seems to rent this out for work/​business type dealings, Maker’s provides an awesome spot in Belltown for a large get together.
The space itself is open, light, and vaguely industrial (I get European feel from the place). I can see this as a fabulous venue for a dance party, business meeting, birthday, etc.
I was recently here for an event hosted by Über and Zipcar — and even with the place super full (thanks to the promise of free booze and nibbles) it never felt overly crowded here. Plenty of seating options, plenty of room to mingle, plenty of spots for booths, tables, and never a long line for the very clean bathroom. I liked it here a lot. It was nice to have an oasis in Belltown lacking your typical weekend Belltown crowd.

I went to an event here via Über and ZipCar. The event was really well done, but what I really loved is the space.
One of the partners noticed I was perusing beyond the rope barrier and offered to give me a tour. I have planned tons of team retreats in the past and this space looked perfect. It had a huge conference room and a kitchen space that could be rented out for an all day or evening event. It was modern, minimalistic, and very loft style. I was told they could bring in extra chairs etc if needed and upped the bandwidth during events.
Normally the space is an open working space and seems to have a few great spots (private call rooms, filing cabinets, couches, and private offices). If you like the coffee shop atmosphere this place is perfect. Only downside is that it may be a bit too open and get messy, if someone next to you isn’t very considerate.

I have never worked from Makers, but I’ve been to a few events there, and I love it!
The space is unique and interesting. I love watching their Facebook and seeing new rooms get created, new interesting items arriving, and new spaces getting «finished.» It’s also cool to occasionally hear about the different small companies and «remote workers» moving in and/​or accomplishing something awesome.
Most of my visits have been for the monthly Creative Mornings events, and most of those have been great. I love starting my day by listening to an interesting (and potentially inspiring) story from a local business owner, designer, entrepreneur, etc. The other visits were for private parties that involved a lot more standing and drinking, which were (obviously) also fun.
Great space and great location! Can’t wait to see what they do with it next.

What a fantastic little hidden venue in Belltown. I came to help sponsor and attend a charitable event and was blown away by this space. Having never heard of it I was surprised by how awesome it was. Why don’t I know about more events here? I certainly hope to attend more soon. I know Makers has only been around since 2011 but it’s got a great layout, it’s large, and the industrial feel of the space makes it easy to host a variety of events here. Birthdays, weddings, fashion shows, you name it –they can do it!
