Ali and her team at Simply Matchmaking are terrific! Unlike some of the other services, which are very sales-​oriented, Ali took a much more personal approach. If you are single this is the place to go to find love! Ali is an amazing person who takes immense pleasure in helping people find the love of their life, as she puts it. Ali spent a lot of time getting to know me on a very personal level, so I felt comfortable in her ability to find me a great match. I signed up for the 1 year 6 match plan, I knew love wouldn’t be found instantly, so I just sat back and let Ali work her magic.
Within a week or so Ali had my first match for me! She did a great job with my match, but that person just wasn’t for me. After meeting the first match I knew that Ali was on to something and I had full faith in her to find me someone amazing. A few weeks later she emailed me with my next match, this match was a hit! With the feedback I provided her, she search diligently and found me an amazing women. It was almost as if she used magic to make this match for me. I was pretty shocked that someone who has only known me for a few weeks could pick someone who was so great for me.
Ali doesn’t stop at just finding you dates, she goes the extra mile. Ali coached me on so many things dating and relationship wise. She helped me navigate the often confusing female mind, how to keep the conversation light and fun and also she reminded me of how important the little things are when you’re dating someone new. The skills that Ali taught me can be used outside of the dating arena.
Some people might think that her fees are high, but I think it is more than worth it to have the high quality matches that Ali provides. Hopefully I won’t be using Ali again because she did such an amazing job. Do not even look for another matchmaker, because Ali Migliore is your girl.

Now, having been with Ali for almost 9 months, I’m finally ready to write my review. I will follow it up with an update once I am through with my year membership.
I signed up with Ali last June and have been extremely impressed with her professionalism and passion for what she does!
In the initial interview, Ali really took the time to chat with me and understand my personality, along with giving me tips on dating. The guys she has set me up with, have also said that she spent a generous amount of time in the initial interview, to get to know them and coach them on dating, and she continues to gives feedback after each date.
Ali is right there with you from the beginning, taking the time to do all the work to pick nice restaurants, making reservations to picking the men she thought I would connect well with well.
Ali does pick who she thinks you will match well with. So, don’t expect to give her a list of everything you want and expect her to magically find you, your idea of the perfect person! You can give 3 must haves and deal breakers. This is entirely fine with me, because clearly I would not be going to a matchmaker, if I was that good at picking matches for myself! Ali always checks in after each date to see how things went and to get feedback. She is forthcoming and says to call or email, to ask for relationship advice and she will be there for you!
Her words of wisdom and feedback, and her philosophy on going into each date with an «open heart and an open mind» has made a huge difference on how I date, to not judge a date so quickly! Also, Ali is right, that sometimes, it takes more than one date to really start building the chemistry and see the connection!
Ali goes above and beyond just her «job» to care about how your dates and relationships go. Ali has set me up with 6 dates thus far, and though I have not met my «forever love», I have met 5 very interesting men. Each unique in their own way, and 2 of them, I still keep in contact with and am happy to call my friends. All 6 were hardworking professionals that seemed serious about finding and working on a real relationship.
Having tried the online dating, this works so much better for me. I know there are no guarantees, but I still have a few more months of my membership and I am excited to see who my next date is!

Ali really pays attention to what I am looking for. So far, all of the dates she set up for me are with individuals who are educated, professional, willing to invest time to develop a meaningful relationship. She also provides me feedback from my dates.
I have compared her service with other expensive match makers. Her service fees are definitely way more reasonable and you will notice the work she puts into every client.

Ali is true professional when it comes to matchmaking. I tell everyone I can to hire her, sit back and relax, and let her bring awesome people your way. But Ali is not just a talented matchmaker, she’s a confidant, therapist, personal stylist, reality-​checker, and friend. I simply cannot put into words how much value Ali has added to my life, and would recommend her to anyone who is serious about finding love.

Working with Ali has been incredibly refreshing! I really love that even though she has several people on staff, she does all the matchmaking. She has a natural talent at seeing the bigger picture and finding what her clients are truly looking for in a partner. She will sit down and get to know you so it seems like a friend setting you up on a date. I went into it with a very open mind and open heart and have been pleasantly surprised by the people I’ve connected with.

I signed up based on a recommendation from a friend and feel as if my money was taken and ran with. I received one date that wasn’t a great match and then, months later, never heard back from the matchmaker (except asking for a vote for her as best matchmaker in Seattle). Similarly, my friend got a bunch of dates from her but they were all random and didn’t match what she was looking for. Overall, I wasn’t a fan of the service and would not recommend this to anyone else.

Signing up with Simply Matchmaking turned out to be one of the better decisions I have made. I can’t tell you how refreshing it is to work with an actual matchmaker as opposed to filling out a questionnaire for some online dating site and leafing through profiles. Ali, their chief matchmaker, seemed genuinely interested in getting to know me and what I was looking for in a relationship. She has been very enjoyable to work with, always being available for questions or postdate feedback.
As for the dates themselves, I have been on two so far and I’ve been extremely happy with both of them. These were smart, beautiful, successful women, and thanks to the initial consultation we actually had a lot in common. You’re told by Ali that you only need to stay for one drink, but each time we hit it off so well that we both decided to stay much longer. The only reason I haven’t been on more dates is because my first match was such a success!
If you’re serious about finding someone special, I would highly recommend giving this a shot.

I had been away from the dating scene and Seattle for awhile and was trying to figure a way back in when I ran across Simply Matchmaking. Ali did a good job of asking questions and follow up questions in our introduction meeting. She is genuine in wanting everyone to find love. One of the things I emphasized with Ali is that I wanted feedback on the dates and she has done a great job of giving me constructive feedback and being honest and upfront. The woman have been serious, smart and attractive professionals who I have enjoyed getting to know whether or not it led to continued dates. Overall, I am very happy that I signed up with Simply Matchmaking.

Ali is the best matchmaker around. Period. Although I have known Ali for many years, little did I know that she would be the one to connect me with my now fiancé. I remember it like it was yesterday: early January 2011, I received a text from Ali saying that I HAVE to meet this guy she met at a Xmas party. Me not being one to jump at the opportunity of a blind date, I finally agreed to meet this guy (after much convincing that she felt that he could be «THE ONE»). 4.5 years and an engagement later, I can whole-​heartedly say that Ali is one special gal; she has such a knack and talent for matchmaking, it’s rather amazing. I feel beyond lucky to know her, and to be one of the lucky ones that she was able to connect with their soul mate. For anyone reading this post and wondering whether to let Ali help you find you love, DO IT. You will absolutely, 100% not be disappointed.

Where dating is concerned, Ali stands for Awesome! She is the creator and heart and soul of Simply Matchmaking. She gets me! And she encourages me! And she gives me perspective in this whole insular world of «dating». When I say to myself, ‘I need to talk to my matchmaker” and send her a quick email, she calls me, and supports me and is HONEST! It all helps, but the thing that helps the most is this strong sense, «She is with me in this!»

It was really stressful for me to choose and start working with a matchmaker. Ali was great, and once I met her I didn’t worry any more about the process itself. She was up front with the financial and business side of things, and I think that her business model was as low stress as is possible for matchmaking. When I first met her she was very interested in getting to know me and what I was looking for. I think she is gifted with seeing how people get in their own way with dating; she sure helped me see some issues I have had (specific example, she told me I needed to smile more — good advice!). She quickly set me up on multiple dates. After them, I got back to her with how they went, gave her feedback on the match, and she developed her next plans. However, it turned out she didn’t need to as I have continued to date one of my first matches.

Just wanted to give an update. I’m not a client anymore but that’s because I’ve been with my last match for 10 months and I am very happy. So I definitely recommend this! As a sidenote, you should be open to unexpected matches and really give them a try. Chief Matchmaker Ali has a knack for this. My perfect «matches» didn’t work but the process did once I trusted her to take over. You’ll develop a relationship with her over time as she really cares about each client and this is her life’s passion. Hope this helps you too!

When my roommate suggested I see a matchmaker the image of Yente from «Fiddler on the Roof» came to mind.
Perhaps this was why it took a while from that suggestion to my decision to actually give it a chance.
While Ali is a matchmaker but she is hardly a Yente and that is an important distinction. From the first meeting this became clear as she asked questions about my background, dating history, what I found attractive, and encouraged me to be as honest as possible. It was during this session, where I had to explain why my most current relationships failed, that I helped me see where I may have been repeatedly making the similar mistakes. This look at my dating experience helped me as much as it helped her.
With each date Ali asked me to report back to her and give her honest feedback and then she gave me my date’s feedback. Again to get this sort of advice and criticism was very helpful. Sure my first date was a bit of a failure because I was overwhelmed with the whole situation. I was unsure if this was for me, had to figure out how to get information out of my date, carry on a conversation without being awkward, but despite that it was fun. And that is what was most intriguing. Sitting down with a stranger that a match maker believes you have a connection is fascinating. Discovering if there is a spark or just a person that with whom I had a drink and pleasant conversation is a good change. That feedback can be suprising. Like the date where I thought I had bored her but she was actually interested in me. Without Ali’s services I never would have known this. I would have figured that date was a bust and moved on. Missed out on the subsequent dates I had with this wonderful woman.
Ali’s services go beyond just helping you find love it also helps you present yourself and understand how people perceive you on dates. Her advice there is helpful even outside the dating world.
