Wow! Beautiful work. So easy to work with. Fast. Nice guy. Very reasonably priced. I was late because I was trying to get the chair in/​out of my small car. He said that he would have been happy to pick up. Every once in a while you are so pleasantly surprised. This is one of those times.

I had Len reupholster my sofa recently, it was overall a very positive experience. Some pros:

The only issue we had was a little communication breakdown before he actually started working on the sofa. Len’s schedule got pushed back a few times. Not a big deal as long as you let me know, but I ended up having to call him a few times to try to figure out whether the set delivery day was actually happening. Once he started actively working on it the communication was great though. And I am VERY happy with how it came out!
I enthusiastically recommend Len as long as you don’t need super fast turnaround.

I’m so happy with the midcentury dining chairs that Len reupholstered for me (picture posted). They started out as white brocade and Len reupholstered them in an an aqua vinyl. His prices were super-​reasonable (about half of what other reupholsters quoted me) and he definitely stands by his work. Plus, he’s very nice! Things to keep in mind: Cash/​check only. If you have a concrete deadline, I’d check with him to make sure he can meet it – his work is clearly in demand.

Len reupholstered one couch (and new pillows) and made a slipcover for another. The cushions are off on the couch, after one year the back pillows still don’t lay flat. And the slipcover has shrunk by three inches. I was very clear that I wanted a slipcover that was washable. I’m extremely disappointed with this work.

I was a little skeptical at first because Len does work out of his garage. But I guess this is how he keeps his over head low and prices great! Originally I was quoted for this job at a retail location about $ 800 & I was going to be without my cushions for 5 days. Len was able to do the entire job for under $ 500 with the exact product the retail store was going to use. He did it in 2 days and the project looks amazing. Would recommend him to any one!

I had a boxy retro chair that was in need of renovation. An acquaintance recommended Len, and I couldn’t be happier! The chair has been given new life, and Len was courteous, timely, affordable and did great work! I can’t say enough good things.

Len did great work putting new foam in the cushions of our room and board sofa. He was fast, friendly, and we loved the outcome. The one ding is that he doesn’t take credit cards. I mean come on, it’s 2013!

I have a very large sectional in my rec room. One of the upper attached pillows had a huge hole in it. The upholstery has a floral print on black background. I called Len because of the good reviews.
He picked up the one sectional with the problem, removed the upholstery on the back side to replace the damaged pillow, replaced the back with other material (it’s up against a wall so okay by me) and fixed it.
He delivered the reupholstered sectional and told me it was $ 100 less than quoted because it did not take as much time as he thought it would. He did any excellent job at an amazing honest price. A day later he called to check if I was happy with the outcome.

After reading other reviews, I called Len to recover a chair for us. I had already recovered the bottom of this chair, but couldn’t wrap my head around how to do the top back cushion. I called him in the morning, he came to my house a couple hours later, gave me a fair estimate, and carted the chair and fabric I was using away to his shop. He delivered it back the very next day and the recovering was beautiful. He also added a backing under the seat cushion for free. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is professional, does high quality work, economical and quick!

I took my glider rocker to Len to have reupholstered and I was very satisfied. He was efficient, quick, and economical! I’m going to attempt to load some before and after pictures of my super comfy chair & ottoman. (I bought the fabric from a furniture store, but Len seemed to have access to various fabric designs and colors)

Len does thorough and good quality work. His business is a one-​man-​show. I didn’t care that he works from his home, and the workspace was a little messy, (but he was apologetic about it).
That said, the cushions he reupholstered for me came out great! He did several little extras for free on my job with no fuss.
The only drawback was that he was a little late on getting our job done. Being a one-​man shop, the reality is that he may get a big job and your small job could get pushed back.
Such is life.

Len’s Auto Upholstery
I found Len on the web after searching all around downtown for someone that made seat covers for a pickup bench seat. I never found anyone, but Len said he could possibly repair the damage.
After bringing the seat to him, he scoped it out and said it would be cheaper to recover the seat inside of trying to patch the 3 – 4 rips. He gave us a good price on the job, and was able to order the fabric the next business day with a deposit. The seat was finished the following day — he dropped it off and it looked great, better than we had discussed.
He works out of his garage so I think he can keep his overhead low. It was great to support a local small business and get great service too.
I would recommend him for any auto upholstery job.
