Abodian

No response company. Now we’re two weeks behind on our project. Moving on to another company. Too bad, because we do a lot of fix and flip houses. I feel if we told them this they would have treated us differently.

Abodian Cabinets were great to work with. Our designer and project manager, Joy Dolling, was a pleasure to work with. She even came over to measure twice to make sure everything was going to fit in nicely for our kitchen and bathroom cabinets. And, they look great and are built extremely well.
When we had a slight hiccup on delivery, the guys took it upon themselves to deliver the rest of the cabinets to our home (not too far from Abodian) and that was really great.
I would recommend Abodian to anyone doing a kitchen remodel or new construction. They will fix a problem, and work to make sure that everything goes smoothly.
Finally, Joy was very patient with us through our changes at the beginning, and our need to shop around, which we did, and found we absolutely made the right choice.

Abodian did the cabinets for a small kitchen and office in our basement apartment. The product is great and the process was nearly painless. We worked with Zach, Dwayne, and Dawn, all of whom provided prompt and excellent service. Price was comparable to other bids we entertained.
We love the look of our new cabinets, but just as important is that our contractor with whom we have had a long working relationship highly praised the quality and workmanship of the cabinets. Abodian provides an extensive installation packet with additional reassurances of phone or in-​person support if needed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or go back to Abodian for any future cabinet needs.

We just finished building our 1^st house. We ordered all kitchen and bathroom cabinets from Abodian. There was some hiccups in the beginning with a new employee but Zach stepped in and rectified it. He was responsive, pleasant, and helpful.
Their products are well made and very reasonable in prices. They offered green and contemporary materials. I’m coming back today to order some more. To thank Zach for helping us through this process, I have spread many good words about your company. I also want to thank Chuck for his awesome finish work. I wish your company a huge success.

I would never recommend doing business with this company especially Zach who is terrible to work with. Very unprofessional and after reading the other reviews on this site, I wish I could have avoided this situation altogether.
1. They do not respond to requests
2. They do not keep their promises.
3. They are repeatedly late on everything they do.
4. They have no follow up.
I literally had to hand hold this company through a very simple project which is still not installed. It has been over 3 months and still has not completed. If I could cancel I would.

I got a follow-​up email from the owner that made me want to update my review. He clearly took my feedback seriously and reviewed my email with the staff,. He updated me on changes that had already been put in place and assured me that the other issues would be addressed. It was just the kind of open, non-​defensive, detailed reply epitomizes good customer service. He even offered to make a small upgrade to our kitchen (adding some pull-​out drawers to the pantry) at no charge – very appreciated! The whole follow-​up experience (and the other recent negative reviews from this summer) makes me think that we might have caught Abodian at a bad time (transitioning staff, too many projects?) – and that, in the future, someone else might have a better customer service experience. I hope so!

My original sales person who helped us put together drawings of our cabinets was great and very responsive. Once our cabinets were made, we realized some items weren’t done to our original specs and both cabinets had doors that came damaged and peeling. (5 – 6 items that needed to be fixed — so this is pretty bad quality control) Unfortunately for us, our original sales person left and handed us off to Zach. From there one we’ve gotten responses that are sporadic, one time we scheduled a time for him to come over to our place to pick up a cabinet piece to have re-​cut, and he never showed or called! I took time off of work too. The next day, I emailed him and he said he forgot! Months have gone by and I still have no resolution on our damaged cabinets and the door that wasn’t built to the original specs.
I wish I had gone with another cabinet company — would have saved us time and headache + we would have gotten exactly what we wanted.
Later I asked my contractor if he’s worked with their products before. He said he’s done one Abodian kitchen cabinet install and he said in that job, there was pretty much no QA. They had to wait weeks for new cabinets to arrive. No one should have to go through that especially when they advertise their product as custom and you pay upfront.

Don’t bother going here if you have a small job of I f a guy named Zach is your contact. H lost my plans, did not get back to me until I badgered secretary to leave a note on his desk. Months went by. Brought them new plans, then he tried to outsource me to Auburn. Not happy with this business at all. One Star? How about zero stars!!!

Incredible quality at a reasonable price. I couldn’t be happier with my new kitchen, and everyone who sees it is stunned. Abodian offers the ultimate combination of form and function. My installation looks fresh and contemporary yet somewhat unique, with lots of storage features that make using the space a true joy. On top of the outstanding result, I was very impressed by the process and people at Abodian. They were very helpful and engaged in my project, and guided me to some good decisions. I give Abodian my highest recommendation.
